We must declare emphatically that a state of war exists.

This is no trifling conflict; this rather is a war for men's & women's souls for all of eternity.  We cannot dismiss or alter the state of this warfare by ignoring it or talking as if it doesn't exist.  This merely gives the enemy a tactical advantage.

Sharpen your sword.  Reinforce your armor.  Take up your shield and your helmet.  For the enemy is at the gate.  He is lobbing fiery arrows over the ramparts of your soul.  He would have you and those you love burn in Hell.

You must fight.  But you are not alone.  God Himself is your general.
