Yes, hello... this is indeed an Author's Note. A weird one, from a weird author.

A few things thought I'd mention before you start reading. One, I write when I have time. It's just that I'm in a certain part of my life, where concentration on my studies and getting a job have had me tangled. There's a lot of emotional backstory, but you get the gist, right? Ok, so secondly, I love writing looooonng stories. Don't ask me why, but that's just how I roll. 😎

Just understand that I love what I do. At times it will be difficult to update consistently, but I will try and make time for writing. Simply, 'cuz they make me happy! ❤🤗

The Volumes of Author Villainess are based on the Mc's age in this particular story. Therefore, there may be more chapters in one Volume, than others. Volume 1, for example, focuses on Ria's/Sam's childhood immediately after reincarnation.

Moreover, while I do have plans with the story itself, the CONTENT page will only have confirmed chapters updated. There are various uncertainties that will not be displayed, so your patience and support during the waiting period is my greatest reward.

Lastly, the chapters are short. That is... I do not plan to write a chapter beyond 1.5K words. 3K might be the maximum word count in occasional chapters. While some might be be 500.

I believe in sharing some transparency with my readers. Also, please excuse my bluntness from time to time. I think some things are best done straightforward and honest.

There will be a shift in POV from time to time. Each character will bring in their own blend. Some minor, insignificant, or even major.

There are tons of "almost kiss" scenes, our dear Sam/Ria will run into. She seriously spoils the fun as just an observer.... but NO~ miss villainess here has to "resolve" issues! Spoilsport.

In Chapter 17, Ria (Sam) will find a technical solution to her mom's incurable illness. This solution had saved the villainess Ria's life in the  (Sam's) original story. The question remains how far Sam is willing to go... however, the greater problem is finding that said, 'cure'. Sam herself has no idea where to find that miraculous thing. Chances are highly improbable, but not impossible so long as it's the villainess Ria. But... there's a huge risk involved. A lot of it.

Okay, okay. I know that if you've read until this point, then you're a 🚨spoiler📣 bug🐞. So, since I'm feeling that extra dose of generosity today, I'll give you one more... but just one. 🤫

Sometime after the OG Male Lead arrives, the villainess Ria gets kidnapped... twice. Though, let's be real. Not every author is good at running away. Maybe, can throw a punch with all the finger exercise we do... but the legs do get lazy. So, anyway! What was I saying?
Right. While running away the second time, Ria irritates the ML so much, he steals a carriage for her. Obviously, a do-gooder like him won't leave a 'little', 'fragile' girl alone and escape by himself, right?

Hmm 🤔 I suppose that's enough spoilers for now.

Take this with a grain of salt though. Cuz the kidnapping event is only part of my plans, so far... not confirmed in the CONTENT List. 🤐 Meaning, there's a 35% chance, I might not add this in the future. If by chapter 37, this event doesn't show up, then consider it cancelled.
