Responsibility

"Hello my name is Alaska and I'm a foreigner." I smiled and looked down at my lap for a second before looking back at the camera. "I want to debut in JYP as an idol and I will work as hard as I possibly can to reach these dreams. I like to focus a lot more on my rap and dance rather than singing, I hope you all can support me."

And with that, Felix stopped the recording and looked back on it to make sure there wasn't anything that needed to be edited out. After he quickly checked he gave me a smile and walked me out back to the room with the other trainees.

"Hi Alaska!" Yuna and Nina greeted me as I walked into the dance room with Felix.

"Hello." I greeted and bowed at them suddenly as they laughed at your actions.

"Alaska you don't need to bow!" Nina laughed. "We'll be working with each other like sisters, I can translate for Yuna but she does know basic english."

"Oh." I felt embarrassed. "Thank you, so what are we working on?"

"So today we are going to have the cameraman follow us to lunch, after lunch it'll be like 8? Then we can head to the dance room to practice our song with Jisung and Felix." Nina explained.

"Okay." I smiled and stand closer to Felix as well walked into the cafeteria.

"I've never seen such delicious food." My eyes sparkled as I serve food on my plate.

"Well you'll get to eat like this for the rest of the time you're here." Nina winked. "Yuna told me since she's been a trainee for some time."

"Oh thank god." I said as I sat down with both girls.

"I only know a little english but I'm hoping I can learn a lot more with you." Yuna smiled as her accent shined through her english.

"Of course! And you can teach me korean!" I smiled back.

The rest of lunch was great, I started to get get more comfortable with Nina and Yuna. That was until I got into the dance room with them and realized how good they were.

"Nina you sing so well!" I exclaimed. "Like your high notes are so good and you have a stable voice when you dance."

"Thank you!" She chuckled. "I still need practice on dancing though which I think Felix can help us on."

I turned to Felix who looked at me with a fond smile, "Yeah Felix can you teach us the choreography for 2PM's song?"

Our mission for two weeks or less is to perform a senior group's song to JYP, the judges of this survival show is JYP, PSY and Got7's Jaebeom. I was incredibly nervous because I look up to them, they're literally geniuses and I want to make sure I don't get eliminated. If I get eliminated then I have nothing to even live for, in a sense that I basically left high school just to become a trainee.

I heard bad things about survival shows so I want to make sure I try my absolute best, I really don't want to let Felix down.

It was now 12 in the morning and Jisung and Felix have already left the room, Nina and Yuna were on the floor panting harshly as I looked at the camera in the room. The camera was definitely for the survival show and wanted to show behind the scenes of how hard it was to train, there was still 15 trainees in the show and I was actually one of them. Don't people usually audition for this? Why would JYP just scout someone like that, was this all just a game to him?

"Alaska, you're a really good dancer have you taken classes?" Yuna asked as she drank the water from her cup.

"No, actually I've been dancing for some years on my own." I chuckled. "It's my hobby for the most part."

"Well you dance like an actual trainee who's trained, please teach me how to get better." Nina looked over at me.

"Sure." I nodded and smiled at the both of them, I think these two girls will stick with me through it all. I hope we can all debut in the future.

And after our little break we went back to dancing and making sure our dance was smooth, however Nina fell to the floor as we started up with the introduction.

"Are you okay?" I gasped as I helped her up, she looked pretty worn out.

"Alaska, I really don't know how you do it but I'm wasted. I really can't keep going." Nina sighed.

"Yuna are you tired?" I asked and turned to Yuna.

"Yes but I've practiced for longer so I'm not as worn out as Nina is." Yuna explained.

"Okay well I'll go get some snacks from the cafeteria and you guys take a break." I excused myself and left the room.

I walked down the hall and looked into the other dance rooms to see them empty, where was everyone?

I got to the cafeteria and take some snacks and juice to the dance room except I heard some noises from a room at the end of the hallway. I walked closer and pressed my ear against the door and realized it was Chan. Holy shit it was actually Chan! He was doing a Chan's room probably so I quickly walked back but as I walked back I bumped into someone.

"Crap! Sorry!" I turned around quickly and bowed.

"Alaska, you're fine." The guy chuckled. "Why are you spying on Chan?"

My eyes widened as I looked at who I bumped into, I BUMPED INTO FELIX? Damn it, now he's going to think I'm a creep.

"No! I promise I wasn't spying on Chan, I just happened to hear noises and got curious." I explained myself.

"And why do you have snacks in your hand— actually why are you even at the JYP building and not at dorms?" Felix questioned and gave me his full attention which made me even more shy.

"Um, I was practicing with Nina and Yuna.." I replied. "Isn't that normal?"

"Alaska! There's a limit to how long you should practice, I know there's pressure but please go rest. All the other girls went back to the dorms already so I think you girls should take a rest for the day." Felix's eyes widened.

"Felix, don't worry I won't overwork them— I know that Nina is still very young and I wouldn't want her to suffer but it's hard for her to catch up. I think this extra practice is good for her." I said as we both walked back to the dance room. "So why are you here?"

"I was going to join Chan in his live— Shit! I have to go!" Felix gasped at the realization. "Alaska see you later!"

And with that I saw Felix running back to Chan's studio, I chuckled to myself quietly as I walked into the dance room. That boy can really be fun to hang out with.

"Alright after these snacks you guys can go to the dorms." I told Nina and Yuna.

"Really? Thank god, my legs were giving out at this point!" Nina groaned.

"You both did really good today, we can solve our problems tomorrow." I smiled as the girls got the snacks and dug in.

I think after they leave I'll just get in another round practice, that's okay... Right? I don't think I'm overworking myself, although my body is really sore. I'm sweating a lot but the AC is making it less painful, I think I can really do this. I need to secure my spot in the debut line up even if its my first day of training.
