Chapter Twenty-One: Lost

Without thinking, I ran around the pool, towards Tyler. I hear glass smash above the balcony, but I didn't focus on it. As I was close I swan dived into the water. Once it hit my skin, I shivered, but I went under and swam towards Tyler, but then I felt the ripples of the water once again. I turn to see Sam in the water, tied up with the plastic of the cover. I swam over to Tyler, reaching her in no time due to my super-agility. I lifted her in my arms, we bursting through the water to get air into our lunges.

Suddenly, I felt Sam's strong, large hands on my waist, lifting me up, to the edge of the pool, as Dean and Susan ran down the steps. I laid Tyler down on the edge of the pool, her mother leaning over her but the girl was unconscious.

It was a tense moment, we all looked at the Tyler, praying that she would wake up, and I was counting on it. I stared at her intently, feeling my magic flow within me, and suddenly she began to choke up water and took in air once again.

"Thank God! Thank God!" Susan states, relieved that her child is safe, as was we all.

"Mommy!" Tyler states as she is scared, and you could tell it in her voice.

"Yeah, baby, I'm here," Susan replied, clutching onto her daughter, for life as she counited to cough.

"Tyler, do you see Maggie anywhere?" Sam had asked, as this was important. I turned my gaze to him, as he was wet, as was I. My feet were in the pool as I sat on the edge.

"No, she's gone," she had answered Sam's question as she looked around the place. "Mommy," this was a frightened little girl, who just wants her Mother.

Sam, Dean and I shared a look, as we didn't understand what was going on. Maybe this was a good thing or a bad thing, we didn't know...

Sam and I had dried slightly off, after our little splash in the pool. But truth be told we were still soaking wet, our clothes weighed more than usual. The boys was waiting for Susan to get her mother, but I was in my room, packing up the clothes that I had. I stuffed the clothes into the black duffel bag, as I was minding my own business. I heard a piercing scream that vibrated through the hotel, but I know the scream of loss when I hear it.

Rose must have died, and gave up her life so her daughter and granddaughter could live. "Rest in peace," I whispered to myself as I looked up to the ceiling, gesturing to heaven.

About half an hour had passed, and we were all gathered outside, Susan had phoned the paramedics to come collect Rose's body. Sam and Dean was talking to the paramedics before going over to Susan. I lent against the Impala, my hearing shut off - so to speak - as I watched the boys talk to Susan. Soon Tyler came out, and then walked over to a taxi that was parked near the hotel, taking them wherever. Tyler had gotten in the taxi, but Susan turns and gives Sam a full-body hug. I smiled sweetly at the gesture, her eyes locked with mine across the yard, she gave me a nod and a smile.

I smiled back widely, as she states something to the boys and Sam shuts the door as she had gotten in the taxi. The boys began to come my way, talking to one another, but I had zoned out, my eyes wondered the hotel. It was a real nice hotel, heck, I would have bought it - well compelled it.

"Feels good getting back in the saddle, doesn't it?" Dean states, snapping me out of my state of mind, making me turn and look to Dean over the hood of the car.

"Yeah, it does. But it doesn't change what we talked about last night, Dean," Sam states, clearly remembering what he had spoken about with Dean. His eyes met with Sam's, and you could clearly see the cogs turning.

"We talked about a lot of things last night," Dean replied, as he tried to avoid the question.

"You know what I mean," Sam pushes on. It was best if I didn't say anything, this was between them.

"You were wasted," Dean replied, knowing Sam was, but Dean wasn't.

"But you weren't. And you promised," Sam said, he seemed to go full-on brooding mode. Dean looked worried and anxiety about it all.

"Well, at least we laid together," I state my comment to Sam, trying to lighten the mood, because this wasn't good for us all. His eyes connected to mine, as he was turning a different shade of pink. Was he blushing? I couldn't tell.

"Excuse me?" Dean's husky voice quickly replied, making me turn to him.

"Not like that," I began as I rolled my eyes at him. "It was more of a cuddle," I teased Dean and Sam at the same time, but that was the last thing I was going to say. I brush pass Sam and swung open the door, and gotten in the back seat, waiting for the boys to enter.

Once they were in, Dean fires up the Impala and we pull away from the hotel, and we were back on the road again in no time.... Maybe I'll get an hour or two....

Iron. Pentagram. Gate.

These words were being whispered to me, but I was surrounded by blackness like I was dead once again, but it didn't feel like death. I know what death feels like, I've had a handful in my lifetime. I tried to move, but I was energy, just floating around in the black abyss, not sure what my purpose was. As the words echoed through the void, I began to think of the three words could mean, but I drew a blank on it all.

"Hello, Anna," a voice that I knew too well, had struck fear into my core, but before I could say or do anything, I began to fall, like from a great height. When you have them dreams of falling off of something and you plummet to the ground, it was like that. But as I was in a void, it was endless.

Suddenly, I jolted awake within the Impala, it was night and Sam and Dean were still not talking and Dean still driving. But all these visions were things I haven't experience for a long time, and it was all confusing now. Why now, why at this moment in time, when I'm with the boys. Is it a warning? Or are my visions trying to tell me something?
