Chapter Fifteen: Gordon, who?
(Outfit Reminder)
After Sam and Dean talked it out, more like Dean begging Sam to stay and let Dean figure things out for awhile. We ended up in a motel. The Velvet Inn Motel, it was a nice little place to stay, but with Dean telling us what his Dad said before he died, made me think, that I can't hide myself from them, but the fear of them hating me, just was too big.
I insisted to Dean that I get a separate room, as I wanted some time to myself, and he just agreed, not really want to argue with me nor I with him. As I went into my own room, I dropped my bags and flopped onto the bed, my eyes heavy with the lack of sleep, through I'm Immortal, girl still needs her beauty rest.
My eyes began to sag, and I didn't want to fight to keep them open. Sleep had taken over, and I was out for the night...
...........................
Dreams were dreams, I've had many, but this one seemed so real, like I was actually there. I couldn't see anything, but some sort of fabric that I could barely see through was placed around my eyes, meaning I was blind folded. Out of no where, 'bang' a ringing sound entered my ears, like an explosion had just gone off. I began to whimper, but I didn't know why, as I struggled against the chair I was clearly tied down too.
"Wake up," I heard a whisper in my ear, but I couldn't tell who it was. "Wake up," the voice said again, but this time louder, and I knew the voice now. It was Dean.
"Wake up!" He yelled - My eyes shot open to see Dean leaning over me, searching my eyes for a moment as he held a worry expression on his face. "Sam's gone," he states quickly as he stops leaning as I got up from the bed and sat on the edge as he paces back and forth in front of me.
"What do you mean gone?"I asked, as he stopped in his tracks and locked eyes with me.
"Gone, Gabby. Is there another meaning?!" he raised his voice at me, getting the point across like he had just snapped. I frown at him, as he sighs and he knew straight away he did wrong. "Sorry. I'm on edge,"
I sighed as I rubbed my tired eyes, as I must have not been to sleep that long. "Try phoning Ellen," I state to him.
"I have, but she hasn't seen him," his tone of voice was really worried, before he started to pace once again.
"Okay, we go on the road, and we wait until Ellen calls," that was m only plan, I couldn't think of right now. No locator spell could help me right now, maybe one but I have to lay low for awhile because of Dean's suspicion. Meaning we had to find Sam the old fashion way...
We wasted no time, we had gotten out of the motel room and started to pack our things in the trunk, before we entered the Impala, and began our drive on the road. We were silent, we both didn't want to talk, our minds racing with different possibilities about Sam and some wasn't good.
We've been on the road for awhile, but the silence stuck like glue. I peered out of the driver side window, seeing just night and trees as we passed. Out of no where, Dean's phone began to ring, making me shoot my head over to him as he takes the call.
"Hello?"
"It's Ellen," I heard with my super hearing, before he pulled the phone from his ear and put on speaker, for myself to hear.
"Hey, have you heard from Sam?" Dean didn't waste any time in finding where he's brother was.
"I have, but he made me promise not to tell you where he is," Ellen announced back. I admired that she was loyal and could keep a secret, but this wasn't the time to keep them.
"Please, Ellen. Something bad could be going on here," I state to her.
"I swore I'd look after that kid," Dean states straight after I finished, meaning Sam.
"Now Dean, Gabby, they say you can't protect your loved ones forever," she began, but she sounded beat like she was going to say stuff it. "Well, I say screw that. What else if family for? He's in Lafayette, Indiana," she had told us the location where Sam was going.
"Thanks," Dean and I state together, before Dean ended the call. I ran a sweaty hand through my blonde sticky hair. I so needed a shower, but Sam was on my mind too much. I began to take off my lace cardigan as I was warm, but was glad that Ellen had told us where Sam was heading. Maybe I could get some sleep...
But without knowing it, I had put my head back on the leather seat and began to nod off, and I was out like a light once again...
........................................
I slowly woke to the purring of the Impala coming to a halt, and we were at a motel called Blue Rose. I look down to see my cardigan over me, like it was a blanket.
"Thank God you're okay," I heard dean state to himself, as I lean up and see Sam in a motel room, hand on the glass like he was thinking. He moves a few moments later, and we see a brown haired girl standing in the room with him.
"Oh, you're better than okay. Sam, you sly dog," Dean states as he chuckles through the words like he was impressed with Sam. I just rolled my eyes at the back of his head.
"Okay, I don't think it's what you are thinking of," I state to him, as he turns to look at me with a raised eyebrow like 'really'. I gave him a chuckle before waving him off.
Suddenly, we both heard glass smash into pieces as our heads shot to the room Sam was in.We both darted out of the car as another shot had rang out and smashed the other glass window. We both looked around to find the source of the shots, to see a black man across the street aiming a sniper rifle at the room.
Dean wasted no time in running across the street to the roof where the sniper lays, but be being me ran after him, just in case he needed. He find our way to the back of the building and climbed some stairs, Dean dashing in front as he was quicker, but I wanted to go at human speed.
"Gordon!" I heard Dean yell as I reached the top of the steps to see Dean kick Gordon in the face. Before he started to punch the living day cramp out of him, I could smell the fresh blood from here. There was a few more punches as Dean had pinned him down, as I stood on the roof and watched, but I had no idea who this Gordon is, they must have met him when I wasn't with them. Dean then grabs him by the collar.
"You do that to my brother, I'll kill you!" Dean shouts at him angry that he was trying to kill his brother.
"Dean, wait," Gordon tries to speak but Dean didn't let him as he throws another punch in his face and another, and another. Until Gordon had managed to grab hold of his rifle and hit Dean in the side of the head. Dean was flung off of him and hit again with the end of the rifle. I ran forward, but Gordon was quick and aimed the rifle at me.
I came to a halt as he slowly stood to his feet, the rifle still aimed at me. "I don't know who you are, but you better back off before I do something I regret," he spoke and I already hated him.
"I'll take my chances," I spoke with a smug look on my face and in my tone, before I charged at him, without really thinking of a way to take him down. I was just angry that he tried to hurt Sam and he hurt Dean. Once I was close, I swung my fist at him but he dodged and came around with the back end of the rifle, hitting me square in the head, making me lose my balance and tip over my feet. I hit the floor, as the world around me spun, the healing process kicked in, but I felt blood trickle down my forehead. Gordon loomed over me, and looked me down, and smiled wickedly, before the end of the rifle was in my sight. He thrusted down, and hit me in the head once again.
Darkness surrounded me, becoming my friend once again...
