Pilot outfit:

Standing in a goblin trooper transport ship, I stood ready with my 201 carbine rifle in my hands. On my hip, a 2014 pistol dangled next to its ammo. Putting my carbine on my back I pulled out my archer cannon as I checked over it one final time. Today was the day we cripple the IMC, our stop is Demeter, the IMC main refueling planet. I looked around in the ship seeing my fellow soldiers doing the same. All of them seem confident, all except for me. My titan Stryder appeared in my hud.

"Pilot, I sense immense levels of stress." His old master like voice spoke to me as I chuckle.

"I'm fine Stryder, just a little nervous is all." I spoke aloud as the pilot behind me gave me a pat on the shoulder.

"Come on Rookie, you'll do fine, we all will. Once this is over we'll all be able to kick it with our families." Chrissy spoke to me as if she smiled confident on our victory.

"Besides." A deep rough voice sounded next to me as I looked across the ship seeing another pilot. "Right now isn't the time to get butterflys." Jorge spoke making me nod.

"I will have to agree with your fellow soldier pilot. You fought through hell, now isn't the time to feel nervous." My titan agreed making me nod as the goblin made it's way into space where it was nothing but chaos.

"Everyone, hold on." Our ship master ordered as he all held onto the hand bars on the ceiling of the ship.

"Hard right!" The co pilot yelled as we all shifted to the left before getting our footing.

"Hofmann, get us the hell out of here!" Our ship captain yelled as we narrowly dodged a missile.

"Sir, jump calculations haven't finished yet we might not-"

"I don't give a damn just do it, jump now, now damn it now!" He yelled as we saw a missile in front of our ship and making its way to us.

" jumping in 3....2....1...mark!" The captain yelled,our vision turned blue and white, we didn't get hit by the missile so thats a plus.

Once our vision came back i looked around see the IMC refueling station and our fellow goblin next to us. Lowering my hand from the bar I prepared myself as my fellow soldiers looked around seeing if everyone was alright.

"Jump control we made it. On track to reactor 05." Just then a explosion went off as we heard the ship next to us yell out its been hit.

We all looked at the ship and before we knew it, the ship crashed into us making ours lose altitude. I banged my head against the ceiling before being thrown towards the exit ramp where our ship master flew out upon impact. I quickly grabbed the walls of the exit but my grip wasn't strong enough as I fell out and tumbled across the floor before landing on my back.

"Misfits this is MacAllan." A voice rang through my helmet as I slowly stood up with my arm slightly damaged. " Hang on I'm on my way." A sudden thud landed behind me as I turned to see MacAllan piloting an ogre class titan.

"We're getting off this hill. Come with me!" The hatch of the titan closed as he made his way towards the gates.

I felt a hand on my shoulder as my teammate from earlier check on me as she ran ahead. Getting ready I placed my archer canon on my back as I got my carbine ready for battle. Running with everyone we made it through the facility gates after MacAllan tackled through it causing massive damage to the Orge titan. Jumping out he looked at all of us signaling to continue forward.

"Move out and secure the hard points!"

I ran ahead before jumping through a window making my way towards hardpoint alpha.

"Alright pilots, this is a hard point battle, keep the hard points on our side so we can overheat the reactor and end this war." Our tech expert Bish explained as we all did our part.

I ran in and shot grunts before hearing gun shots behind me as I ran for cover. The blue color of the hardpoint stopped as I was being challenged. Ejecting my empty mag I placed a new one and shot aimlessly causing my opponent to run for cover. I pulled out a gernade from my pouch before I pulled the pin and threw it at a cement block I guessed he was at but nothing. Next I felt two pair of hands grab my helmet. Instantly knowing what was gonna happen I stopped them but grabbing their wrists before flipping them over my shoulders. I saw the pilot decloak allowing me to see them completely.

They leaned up and slammed their helmet onto mine causing me to stagger back and letting them free. They went to shoot me with their own carbine but I slammed it out of the way causing them to shoot away from me. Grabbing both of their shoulders I knee them in the stomach and with my argumentation lets just say I heard something snap. While they were in pain they dropped their weapon before punching the lower part of my helmet making me lean to my side before I countered with my own. Once they were trying to recover I pulled out my pistol and unleashed five bullets into their body and one into their head.

I grabbed the lower part of my helmet feeling the soreness of my jaw from that attack. "They really are getting desperate." I thought before seeing Alpha was in our possession. Next was Charlie since Bravo was already in our possession. Running out of the windowsill i used my jump kit to get onto a rooftop.

"Pilot your titan is almost ready just hang in there." Our commander Sarah briggs let me know as I continued on.

I hear a gunshot echo as a vapor trail appeared in front of me. I turned seeing a shimmer and another gun shot that I pivot and ran forwards. Sliding on the roof I dropped threw a skylight and barrel rolled as I continued to run. "That sniper is gonna take too many lives I need to take them out fast"  running down the stairs. I shot my carbine before taking down a grunt and sent my data knife to hack a spector as it followed my lead. My spector buddy shot its evo shotgun taking out a pilot that was behind me.

Jumping to the next building I used it as leverage to get onto the roof the sniper was at. My spector made it to the roof shooting grunt before I picked up and slammed the sniper onto the rooftop and placed my data knife into their visor.

"Pilot your titan is good to go."

Pressing a button on my wrist communicator I saw a green circle appear in front of myself and the spector. With a roar of weight breaking through the atmosphere I saw my titan land on the ground with a massive thud and a dome shield protecting it.

Jumping off of the roof i landed on the top of my titans chassis before hopping to its open palm as it carried me to its cockpit, where I took shelter and felt a warm seat.

"Welcome back pilot. I kept the seat warm for you." Stryder welcomed as it pulled its xo-16 chaingun off its back and into our hands with the cockpit hatch closing.

"Pilots you're doing great. Keep up the fire." MacAllan praised as he was going through the controls.

I dashed ahead with the spector beside me as the three of us engaged a Atlas titan. Shooting it with our chaingun the titan pulled up its vortex shield blocking every shot. I dashed forwards as it let go of the bullets sending them back my way but I had my own vortex shield as I caught them and sent mine and now the altas attack back at it sending it into doom state. Thrusting my hand into the cockpit I pulled out the pilot before crushing them in my hand, followed by kicking the atlas titan down. Suddenly I heard beeping as an archer was trying to shoot me with a missile from behind.

I quickly turned around and summoned my shield once more before sending the missile at a pilot that jumped towards me causing him to explode into red mist. Dashing forwards I rejoined the fight as MacAllan was inside the reactor.

"Stryder what is he doing!?" I asked my titan as he scanned the situation.

"The hardpoints aren't sending enough power to the reactor. MacAllan is doing it himself manually." He explained as  the man coughed due to the radiation.

"Sarah send in evacuation ships." MacAllan spoke as multiple goblin appeared on the otherside of the battlefield.

"Stryder how much time do we have before the ships take off?" I asked before the spector died to gunshots as we ran ahead.

"Twenty seconds pilot." He said as I activated my dash core but I was stopped by an ogre as it began to attack us.

Chrissy jumped onto the evacuation ship as did Jorge the two of them hurried other pilots and grunts as they grabbed their hands and wrists to pull them in. Chrissy watched as a Stryder fought against an Ogre as it dashed in front of the skinny titan.

"Get us out of here." Jorge exclaimed as the now full ship made it's way towards space.

"Is everyone here?" Chrissy asked as they all nod and gave various agreements.

"Wait where's the rookie?" Jorge asked making Chrissy look at the planet before a massive explosion went off on the planet.

"Oh no." Swallowing thickly she placed her helmet on the glass in sorrow. "I'm sorry rookie."

Seconds before. y/n p.o.v

Stryder and I were push kicked as we were near doom state. I grabbed the edges of the Ogre titans hatch and ripped it off before grabbing the pilot and crushing him into the ground killing him.  Stryder and I fell back as we looked up at the fleet with MacAllen talking.

"Blisk I have the reactor to pulse detonate. All the coolant in the reactor isn't gonna save this place anymore." He coughed as Sarah appeared next.

"Pilots the core is going critical we're sending evac to your locations. Find MacAllan and get the hell out of there." She frantically looked over the screens.

"Negative. Fleet, this is MacAllan, I triggered the reactor core overload manually. Clear out as fast as you can. Do not wait for ground forces, repeat, There is no time for evac."

I looked up through Stryders F.O.V seeing the fleet warp out of here.

"Marcus they trusted me as an ex IMC officer and they're gonna need someone after I'm gone. You told me fifteen years ago to take the ship, now I'm giving you the same choice. Pilots, this is MacAllan, if you're still on the ground out there. It's been an honor serving with you." He smiled as the countdown started at five seconds and counting down.

A massive explosion went off as Stryder and I saw a wave of white wash over us. My final thoughts, I wish I got to see my family again.
