Chapter One
The Demon Correction Asylum was completely silent, the only sound being the wind harshly blowing in the night and the tree leaves rustling. Lights in the rooms were shut off, for every one had been asleep, and the only lights that were on were the main building lights. One demon, however, was awake and staring at the window in his room. His figure was hidden in the darkness since the moon light wasn't able to reach where he was standing. If it weren't for his glowing, white cat-like pupils, he would have never been able to be seen in the dark. He slowly grew closer to the window, the moonlight slowly illuminating him from the bottom up.
He rested the palms of his hands on the cold window sill. His white pupils scanned the area, running a hand through his raven locks. His very muscular body was a light gray color, his attire being a black tank top and a pair of gray sweatpants. A heavy sigh left the demons lips as he looked at the outside world before him. There wasn't much to see, for there was just a large patch of trees and the big bright moon. He could have easily escaped the D.C.A. by now. It would be an easy task. The only think holding him back was the collar that was tightly placed on his neck.
See, the collar had a tracking device on it and could shock anyone who tried to damage it. The more damage it dealt, the more painful the shock would be. Without the key, it was impossible to take it off. The collar was also made from a fairly strong metal, which was used intentionally so that demons would struggle more to get it off, resulting in them getting more hurt and eventually quitting their attempts to get free.
A loud yet muffled beep filled the male's ears, causing him to jump and look at the door as a woman's voice spoke in the intercom. "Mr.Cortin, please report to the main testing room. We are in need of assistance with escorting the new inmate." A sad sigh left the male as he looked back out the window. He looked up at the stars, thinking to himself as he tapped his fingers on the windowsill.
'Another victim for this hell hole', he thought to himself, closing his eyes so he could think clearly. He jumped when the silence was broken by a male shouting.
(A/N Not too proud of this, but I promise it'll get better once I start really getting into the writing. Bye :) )
