Hi everyone. As you've noticed there haven't been any posts for a while. I'm really sorry about that, but I think I need to stop fighting myself and step away from this book for a bit. I've been having some mental struggles and major burnout. I hate not being consistent and I feel like in recent years the only thing consistent about me is my inconsistency.

My hope is that once the school year starts I will get in a better mental state. Summer always drags my mood down in the same way winter can affect people's mental health. Plus, trying to maintain my deadlines that I'm contracted to meet while also taking care of my child when he's home for the summer is hard. I'm the kind of person that needs routine and zero distractions, which I cannot get right now.

So for the next month, this story will be taking a hiatus. It's frustrating, but me forcing myself to write when I'm too drained and uninspired doesn't do anyone any good.

Thank you to all who remain so patient with me. I really hope I will be back in gear in September.

** Update 11/2/24:

I've come to the unfortunate realization that I can't juggle this and Treasured by the Dragon at the same time. As Treasured is a Wattpad Original, my commitment is to that series at the moment. This simply means I have to go on an indefinite hiatus for now, but it is temporary! Delilah has been with me for a long time and she is probably the character, out of all my characters, that is the closest to my heart. So I will give her the ending she is due, I just don't know when that will be at the moment. Thank you for your continued patience and support!
