Lily watched the Anya eat like she's never had food before. She had given her some of the clothes you had lying around, careful not to peek too much into your personal life, before she gave her a bowel of cereal. Then a second. Then a third.

She was now on her eight.

Lily: <How are you feeling?>

Anya looked at her.

Anya: <You were there when he saved me.>

Lily nodded.

Lily: <Yes. I was.>

Anya: <Are you two husband and wife?>

Lily shook her head.

Lily: <Just.....friends.>

Anya silently lowered her head again. She went back to eating before the front door opened. Lily looked over to see you enter with someone else. She carefully ducked into the shadows unnoticed.

Y/N: Anya? <Are you still here?>

Anya lifted her hand as she took another bite of her food. You smiled and walked over with the new girl.

Y/N: <How are you feeling? Did you get enough sleep?>

Anya nodded. She then looked at the new girl.

Y/N: <It's okay. She's a friend.>

Anya looked confused.

Anya: <Your friend already showed up.>

Y/N: <Where?>

Anya pointed into the dark, and right at Lily. She was surpised that she could even see her. However, she did admit defeat and stepped out into the light.

Lily: Hey, Spider.

Wanda stood there for a moment, trying to figure out what exactly was going on.

Who was this random girl in your apartment?

Y/N: Uh, Wanda, this is Lily. My friend. Lily, this is Wanda. She goes to the same college as me. She's studying medical science, so I figured she could check up on Anya.

Lily just shrugged and sat ontop of your couch. Wanda looked at you for a moment before she walked over to the young girl.

Gwen groaned as she slowly came to.

Her body still hurts, but she was alive, so there's that. But what made things worse was that she had no idea where she was.

She wasn't on the cold hard ground anymore. She was on a couch of some kind. And she had a blanket over her.

Gwen looked around the room before she realized that she did know where she was.

This was the apartment of Harry Osborn.

Her friend.

The Green Goblin.

Harry: You're finally awake.

Gwen quickly sat up, but cried out when her arm started to sting. She grabbed it as Harry walked around the couch with two fresh mugs of tea.

Gwen watched him for a moment before he handed one of the mugs out for her. She eyed it suspiciously.

Harry: It's not poison. Earl's Grey. Your favorite.

Gwen still wasn't entirely convinced.

Spider-Ham: Oh, just drink the tea, Gwenie.

Gwen looked next to her to see that her oh so favorite delusion had returned. Peter Porker, Spider-Ham.

Gwen did accept the tea and Harry sat down next to Spider-Ham.

Spider-Ham: Say, this would be better if he offered us corndogs, huh?

Gwen: What happened? Why am I here?

Harry didn't say anything at first. He stared into his mug before he took a deep breath.

Harry: I almost killed you.

He then looked up to her.

Harry: And I still might. But that all depends on you.

Gwen: What do you mean?

Spider-Ham: What do you think it means, bozo?

Harry: I want you to tell me everything. Start at the beginning.

Y/N: No, I'm not keeping her prisoner.

You rubbed your temple as Wanda pulled you aside to talk. Lily took over in getting Anya comfortable.

Wanda: Well, then what the hell...

Y/N: She's....she's my niece.

Wanda looked at you with narrowed eyes.

Wanda: You fucking perv.

Y/N: What?! No! It's not like that either! Damnit.

You shook your head.

Y/N: Look, she was going to be deported back over the border. I...I'm just keeping her here until I can figure out what to do. She has dangerous people looking for her in Mexico.

Wanda crossed her arms. She hasn't known you for long, but she knew something about this whole situation wasn't right.

Wanda: Do you really expect me to...

Lily: It's true.

Wanda and you looked up. Lily walked over to the two of you while Anya watched some cartoon on TV.

Lily: He saved her life.

Wanda: And how exactly did he do that? And who are you?

Lily: Lily Hardy. I'm a friend. But we do need some medical supplies from the hospital.

Right. You only had so much to give Anya here. That being said....

Y/N: Wanda, can you stay and watch over her?

Wanda took a deep breath. She then sighed.

Wanda: If she tells me that something weird is going on, you will regret it.

Gwen sat in silence as Harry took everything in. She told him everything. From the field trip to Prom. She even told him about this mysterious SILK organization.

Even Dr. Conners.

Harry: I....

Gwen: You what?

Harry shook his head.

Harry: I don't even know what to say.

Spider-Ham: You could say "sorry for trying to kill you, buddy". Seems like a good way to start. Nom nom nom.

While Spider-Ham ate his corn dog, Gwen watched Harry.

Harry: I almost killed you. I almost.....for what?

He held his head as his actions finally became realized. He nearly killed his best friend. Over something she had no control over. He felt nothing but shame and guilt.

Gwen: Harry...

Harry: I'm a monster.

Gwen placed a hand on his shoulder.

Gwen: No. You're not. You wanted revenge for what happened.

Harry: It consumed me. I would've killed you and thought nothing of it.

Gwen: I understand. If I was in your shoes.....maybe I would've done the same.

Harry looked at her with sad, tired eyes.

Harry: I nearly killed you. How can you just forgive that?

Gwen smiled.

Gwen: Because you're my friend, Harry.

Harry smiled as well, but that was before something happened. Something strange.

A bright pink portal suddenly opened in the center of the room. It swirled and began to grow.

Gwen and Harry stood up, Gwen pulling on her mask and Harry activating his suit.

Harry: What is that?!

Gwen: I don't know.

Then, someone walked out.

???: So, Earth-65. Interesting.

Gwen looked closer to see a familiar costume.

???: You must be one of the two Spiders in this universe. Good. You're needed.

You and Lily snuck into the hospital through an open window. Your suit helped you blend into the dark while Lily was just happy to get out of the still pouring rain.

You dropped into the office and the light flicked on.

Donald: There you are.

You and Lily looked at the doctor who held a bag of medicine for the two of you.

Donald: You know, for a super hero, you're pretty scary.

Y/N: I'm not a super hero.

Donald looked at your costume. He just shook his head and handed Lily the bag.

Lily: Thanks, doc. We really appreciate this.

Donald: It's the least I can do after what he did. He saved so many lives.

You waved it off as you looked out the window.

Y/N: Just doing my job.

Donald: As a non super hero?

You shot him a look. But you realized he was right. You claim not to be a super hero, and yet here you were.

Then again, here you were.

Donald: The two of you take care of that girl, alright?

You nodded.

Y/N: You got it. And keep me posted on any news you hear.

Donald nodded.

You were about to leave, but something happened.

A large red portal opened in the center of the room and it began to grow. You and Lily pushed Dr. Donald behind you both as the portal finally stopped expanding. And from it, came someone else.

???: Yeah, that definitely feels weird.

The person in question shook a bit before he looked at you and Lily.

???: Well, this is good news. You guys are alive.

You looked at this figure before your eyes grew wide.

Y/N: What the...

???: You must be confused. Allow me to introduce myself. I....am Spider-Man.

He then pulled off his mask, revealing himself to be....you.

Spider-Man: You must be confused. But all you really need to know right now is that something is hunting people like us. A war is coming, and we need soldiers.

The other you then held out his hand.

Spider-Man: So, you in or what?

You looked at Lily, then at the younger looking you. You then shook his hand.
