One year later...

It had been a whole year since Lanoir had last seen her love, Jaxs. She thought about him everyday and didn't even think about moving on to anyone else, she didn't have the need to. Her heart was only for him and she didn't care how long it took. She had adapted to motherhood quickly and was very protective of her daughter.

Looking out her window she watched as Abby chased the dog around the yard. Her laughter filling the air. Lanoir smiled as she scrubbed the dirty dishes.  Rinsing the soapy water off the plate she placed it in the dish rack to let it dry.Turning off the water she grabbed a hand towel and dried her hands. Walking over to the counter she pulled out a stool and started to finish this month business expansion proposal. Lanoir had developed a plan for the company to branch off overseas. This would allow the company to develop a strong standing in oversea markets. So her career life was going greatly, she was making more money the she needed and could afford to enjoy the better things in life.

"Mommy!" Abby yelled loudly.

Jumping out of her chair Lanoir rushed over to the side door and swung the screen door open and rushed towards Abby. Her eyes scanning for any threat she could find. Her heart    stopped when she saw someone besides a tree.

No. it couldn't be him after a whole year had he'd finally returned to her? She turned towards Abby her hands shaking as she directed her into the house.

"It's alright princess, just go inside and get a juice box and turn on some cartoons okay?" she said while smiling.

"Are you okay Mommy?" she asked while holding on to her shirt in a tight grip.

"Yes i'm okay baby, just go inside." she said while placing a kiss on her head. She waited until she saw her go inside and shut the door.

Walking over towards the trees she walked around until she was able to see his form. She slowly walked over and looked at him. He was different.

His grey eyes bore into her as he looked at her. Not waiting anylonger she threw herself into his arms wrapping her arms around his body. Holding him like her life depended on it. God had she missed this, how she missed him.

"Ive missed you my love." he whispered into her hair.

"I thought of you every day that you were gone. Life has never seemed so long." she said

"I thought of you every second I was away. But I have accomplished what I sought to to. THey will never harm you again. They will never harm anyone again." he said his voice tight.

Lanoir knew that he wasn't telling her everything. But she didn't need to know the details she didn't want to know them. They didn't matter as long as he was finally home. Lanoir was now able to say the words she should have said long ago.

"I love you Jaxs." she said while looking up into his eyes. They were so bright she could see her future. Ans he was in it with her and Abby, and she couldn't be anymore happier.

"And I love you, I always have and I always will." He said while kissing her marking her as his and him as hers.
