I was walking casually through the forest reading my book when a boy with greenish brown hair in a green hoodie with a white shirt under and brown pants and brown boots ran into me knocking me over causing me to lose not only my book but my glasses.
  "Hey dude are you ok there?" The man asked with what looked like an outstretched hand.
  "Yeah I'm fine I just need to find my glasses." I said in a monotone tone taking his hand.
  He helped me up," Hey I can help you if you help me! Do you know the area well?" He asked
  "Yes I do. I would gladly help." I smiled.
  He bent down. "Welp I found your glasses man." He handed me my glasses and piece of paper. "Here read this and you can help me get to the city with a 'x' on it!"
  I looked at the paper. It was a map of the country. It was in the Groland language." We aren't too far from this place. But why do you need to go there if the city has been abandoned for years?"
  "I need to save a friend of mine."
  "Alright!" I said taking out my bladed claws and hid the blades.

The man's jaw dropped. He stood there amazed at my gloves then shook his head back to reality.
  "What didn't think a nerd could fight?"I asked smirking.
  "No it's just- never mind we need to save my friend. " he said turning around.
  "Alright let's go." I said walking off into the enchanted forest.

~~~Awkward Time Skip~~~
Tick's POV
I bumped into this guy who said he could help me find (Y/N). I don't care who he is. As long as he can help me find her. I am the only one she has ever trusted. And I plan on keeping that trust.
  "So, what's your name?" The guy's voice broke my trance.
  "Oh uh the names Tick." I said scratching the back of my neck.
  "I'm Ryland."
(A/N this is Ryland)

Ryland had a plaid blue and green scarf with a black with white stripes on the end of the sleeves jock jacket and black jeans with black shoes. He had messy black hair and blue eyes covered by black glasses.
  "So who is this friend your trying to save huh?" He asked.
  "Well she uhhh she's a friend and uh...."
  "Oh I get it! You like her don't you?" He asked smirking.
  "No! Just no! Ok I might be a flirt but I don't like her that way!"
  "Ok then she is just a friend huh? Then what is her name?"
  "Well her name is (Y-Robin!" Whew that was close I almost said her real name!
  "Robin. That's a pretty name. What does she look like?"
  "Weeeeeelllll I've never seen her face heh....."
  "That's odd but ok." He said looking forward then at the map," We should be there soon."
  "That's good. " I said putting my hands behind my head and looking at the sky. It was getting dark.
  "Hey, we need to camp here for the night and we can get there first thing in the morning. " Ryland said stopping.
  "What!?!? No we need to hurry and save (Y/N)!!!!" I yelled not thinking.
  "Who is (Y/N)?" Ryland asked raising an eyebrow.
  "Sorry I meant Robin. I was thinking of uh my......sister. Yeah. " I said looking down. I was thinking of my family. I never had a family really. My family sold me. They told me they never wanted me. When they sold me I was well taken care of. But at school my classmates would bully me. That's when my career in assassination started. I killed the kids who bullied me. I was hired to by my adopted parents. They put me into the Cobra Assassins guild and there I was picked on. Everywhere I go I was picked on because my parents didn't want me. (Y/N) didn't pick on me because she doesn't know. I want to be the best I can be so that I can prove everyone wrong. I might be a huge flirt but I still take this seriously.
  "Hey you ok?" I felt a hand on my shoulder.
  "Yeah.......I'm fine. Let's set up camp. "

~~~Time Skip to Morning~~~

Ryland's POV
I woke up and put on my glasses. I got up and walked outside to see Tick is already up and ready for our rescue mission.
  "Rise and shine sleeping beauty!"he joked
  "Sure. Let me just pack up my stuff and we will head out. "
  "Whatever nerd."
  "Don't hate me cause you ain't me!" I said throwing my hands in the air walking backwards facing him.
  "Sure whatever you say ya nerd!" He yelled at me.
  "What you jelly boy!"I yelled as I packed up.
  "Nah man I love myself. And girls."
  "Nobody got time for that."
  "Dude stop acting cool. It doesn't suite you."
  "Come on! Really? I thought we were having fun?" I complained.
  "We don't have time to play around! We need to save Robin!" He crossed his arms.
  "Sorry I will hurry up." I said pack up faster.

Ticks POV
We were walking through the forest. I couldn't stay calm. My mind was set on saving (Y/N). I might not like her like her but she is still the only friend I've ever had and I'm not letting anything happen to her. 
  "Oh god."I heard Ryland. He stood behind a bush.
  "What?" I said walking towards him. "You ok? You look as if you saw a ghost."
  He just stood there pointing to the bush he was hiding behind.
  I looked out of the bush. What I saw was heartbreaking. It was a flat land of dirt and tomb stones
