Scarlett's pov

As I'm driving down the road I look in my rear view mirror and see Kenzie in her car seat. I turn into my dad's driveway to his house and park. Kenzie is already out of her seat and out the door. I keep forgetting she doesn't need my help for everything.

I smile and get out of the car. She has her pink backpack on her back and her favorite pink sparkly converse I bought for her last week. When I get to the front door Kenzie is already inside and my dad is by the doorway.

"Thanks for taking her dad," I said.

"Sure. I have to do a little work and Tyler will be home soon," he said. I nodded.

"Drop her off at 4?" He nodded and I looked at Kenzie.

"Be good okay Kenz," I said. She hugged my leg.

"Bye mommy," she said. I smiled as she let go and went inside with my dad.

When I got back in the car I made my way to Clayton Point High School. I can't believe I'm going to be graduating on Monday. Yesterday was my last day at high school. Thank god.

When I parked I made my way inside. Yes I was done with learning, tests, and homework, but I still have to pick up my cap and gown and of course, graduate.

"Scarlett Adams," I told the lady. She nodded and highlighted my name and pointed to a lady next to a rack of neatly pressed caps and gowns.

When I got my cap and gown I got in my car and placed them in the back seat. Then I headed to a small cafe that serves lunch. I was meeting my friends.

I parked and walked inside and found them at our usual table.

"Sorry I'm late," I said sitting down.

"No worries, we were just about to order," Sofia said smiling.

"Did you pick up your cap and gown?" Caitlyn asked.

"Yeah, I just came from the school," I said looking down  at my menu.

"I can't believe it's over," Sofia said putting her menu down.

"Would you relax, we have the whole summer together and then we are all going to ClaytonPoint University," Caitlyn said.

"I'm going to miss it," Sofia said sadly.

"I'm not, I'm ready to meet people who don't know I have a 3 year old kid," I said. Caitlyn laughed and Sofia glared at me.

"It's true, you try having the whole school making fun of you because you're raising a kid," I said.

"Scarlett's right, this is a big change for her and for us, it's going to be great," Caitlyn said just as our server came to take our order.

After we ate lunch Caitlyn wanted to go shopping for a dress for graduation. I definitely needed one too.

We shop for a few hours and I end up finding a very summery navy blue dress with delicate pink flowers all over it.

After shopping we decided to go back to my house because Kenzie was going to be dropped off soon.

As I pulled up to my driveway I noticed a black car.

"Who's that?" Caitlyn asked.

"Yeah, he's hot," Sofia said sticking her head into the front seat.

It's Mitch. I don't answer my friends but I throw the car into park and get out of the car.

"Hey Scarlett," he says with a smirk on his face. I smile. I hear the car doors open and I realize my friends are getting out. It takes everything not to run and hug him.

I see my brother Tyler next to him and he smiles at me. My friends and I walk towards them. Mitch's hair is longer and he needs to shave. He has his black jacket on and his hands are in his pockets.

"Scar who is this?" Caitlyn asked briefly glancing at Tyler.

"Um... this is.. my...," I paused I didn't know what to say.

"I'm her boyfriend," Mitch said. I glanced at him and gave him a look.

"Boyfriend? We didn't realize-," Sofia began but I cut her off because I could see my dad's car in the distance.

"Hey guys could you just wait inside for me?" I said. Caitlyn and Sofia looked at each other and I gave them a please look. They nodded and walked towards the house.

I saw my dad's car pull up and I turned to Mitch and ran into his arms. His arms wrapped around my body securely.

"What are you doing here?" I asked pulling away.

"What, you thought I would miss your graduation?" He teased. I smiled and then I heard a car door open. I turned around to see Kenzie running towards Mitch.

"Daddy!" She screamed. She ran into his arms and he lifted her up. He groaned.

"You're getting heavy," he said. She giggled as he held her.

"Mitch," my dad said. Mitch set Kenzie down and my dad and Mitch hugged and patted his on the back.

"How the hell have you been? We haven't seen you in a while," he said.

"I'm good, yeah it has been a while," he said giving me a side glance.

"I came over and realized you weren't home and then he just pulled up in the driveway," Tyler said.

"Let's go inside," my dad said. We all nodded and headed inside. Kenzie ran in and right towards Caitlyn and Sofia who we sitting in the living room.

"Hey Kenzie," they both sang. I smiled and looked at both of them. I know they want an explanation but not now.

"Hey girls, how was shopping?" My dad asks.

"It was great, we're all ready for Monday," Sofia said with a smile on her face.

"Well, we should really get going," Caitlyn said eyeing me.

"No, you girls should stay for dinner," my dad said.

"No we should really get going, but we will see you at church tomorrow Mr. Adams," Caitlyn said. He nodded and they both made their way to the door and slipped out.

When everyone got settled down in my house I started making dinner while Tyler helped me. My dad and Mitch were talking at the dining room table.

Tyler and I made spaghetti and a salad. When dinner was ready we all sat down at the dining room table and ate.

"So did Irene send you?" I asked. Mitch nodded.

"Something about stolen guns or something, she wanted me to check it out," he said.

"How long are you here for?" Tyler asked.

"As long as I have to be," he said.

"Mommy can I go watch tv?" Kenzie asked. I looked at her plate which was cleaned off.

"Yes."

After dinner Tyler and my dad decided to head home. Mitch and I watched as they got in their car and drove off.

Once I shut the door I turn to Mitch and kissed him. His hands snaked around my waist as he gently pressed me against the wall.

"I missed you so much," he whispered before he started kissing my neck. I held in my mom and ran my fingers through his hair. Mitch's was breathing hard and my body was starting to get hot.

"Mommy! I'm ready for bed!" Kenzie called. Mitch stopped and I mentally cursed myself for not putting Kenzie to bed before we started this. I groaned and Mitch laughed.

"I have to put her to bed," I said walking away. Kenzie was sitting on her bed waiting for me. She had her pjs on and she was all ready for bed. I sat on the edge of her pink colored bed as she got under the covers.

"Are you happy daddy is home?" She nodded.

"Good, okay, get some sleep," I said kissing her forehead.

"Goodnight mommy," she said resting her head on her pillow as I turned out the light. I left her room and quietly shut her door.

When I went back to my bed Mitch had his bag on our queen sized bed and was unpacking his clothes. I peered inside and also saw his guns and knifes.

Mitch was in the bathroom shaving his stubble. I wrapped my arms around his bare waist as he concentrated very hard on not cutting himself.

"Is she asleep?" He asked. I nodded.

"Good," He said turning and playing a kiss right on my lips.

"Mitch!" I shrieked. I took a towel and wiped the shaving cream off around my mouth. He laughed. He washed off his face and dried it with a towel. I touched his cheek, smiling at the cleanness.

He grabbed my waist and pulled me towards him. His lips touched mine. They were hungry. I tried pulling him closer to get more friction but we were already pressed against each other.

Mitch reached for my shirt and pulled it off me. We made our way to my bed and he laid me down and took off all my clothes. I was loss for words as he kissed every inch of me.

"I love you," he murmured against my thighs. I missed him so much.
