Carter and Fusco had to return to work so everyone went their separate ways outside the hotel. Emily and Reese soon  arrived at the library.

"This is our headquarters." Reese informed Emily. "We don't usually bring the people we help here but I don't have anywhere else to take you right now."

Emily stared at the library for a few seconds and then said, "A rundown library is your headquarters and wait did you say our headquarters? Do those two NYPD officers work here too?"

"Yes a rundown library is our headquarters and no Carter and Fusco don't work here. My colleague Finch works here with me. He gets the information on a person and I do the more hands on stuff."

"Oh" Emily said quietly. "Well let's go see the mastermind then."

"Finch" Reese said upon entering the library. "I'm back."

Finch looked up from the computer he was looking at and stiffened when he saw Emily.

"You brought her here Mr. Reese?" Finch asked.

"I didn't know where else to take her." Reese replied. "I don't think she'll tell anyone anyways."

"I don't have anybody to tell even if I wanted to tell somebody." Emily said.

Everybody suddenly heard the jangling of dog tags as a handsome Belgian Malinois  entered the room. The dog froze in place when he saw Emily and he started to growl.

Emily stared calmly at the dog. "Foei" Emily told the dog. "Zit!"

Finch stared with a shocked expression while Reese looked amused as the dog obeyed Emily's command and sat.

"Braaf" Emily said. (Braaf is Dutch for good.)

"That's Bear." Reese said.

"He's a good looking dog." Emily said walking over to the dog and kneeling down to pet him.

"Where did you learn those commands?" Finch asked curiously.

"I had a German Shepherd for a partner before I had Derek and it is required that you know Dutch and German commands before you get a dog for a partner." Emily replied.

"Do you know only the commands in those languages or can you speak them fluently?" Finch asked.

"Only the commands" Emily said. "I understand some of what is said in a few other languages and I speak Russian fluently."

"Why Russian?" Reese asked.

"We sometimes get Russian recruits so quite a few PTKs speak Russian." Emily said shrugging her shoulders. 

"Do you have any family?" Finch asked remembering that he couldn't find anything about her past.

"No." Was Emily's quick reply.

"What happened to them?" Finch said.

"They died." Emily said staring blankly at Bear.

"Oh" Finch said deciding not to question her any further about her family trusting that she would talk when she was ready.

"I'm going to go out and get some coffee. Do you want any thing Finch?" Reese said.

"No thank you Mr. Reese." Finch replied turning back to his computer.

"Do you want anything Emily?"

"A coffee would be nice." Emily said hesitantly.

"Alright I'll be back soon."

Once Reese had left Emily stood up from her kneeling position next to Bear and turned to look at Finch.

"So you guys help people?" Emily asked.

"We try" Finch replied.

"What are you going to do with me? I'm probably the number one most hunted person on the government list right now cause when they decide to exterminate people who work for them they like to do a thorough job."

"I don't know yet." Finch replied "That's what I'm trying to figure out."

"How did you meet Reese?"

"I found him and he needed my help so I gave him a job."

"So he was your first then?"

"Not exactly."

Emily went quiet and started glancing around the library. Suddenly they heard the door slam and Emily jumped drawing her gun and aiming it at the door.

"It's just me." Reese said quietly freezing into place.

Emily nodded and put her gun back.

"Here" Reese said handing Emily a coffee cup.

"Thanks" Emily said. sitting down in a chair that was nearby.

Reese walked over to finch to stand behind him.

"I don't know what we're going to do with her Mr. Reese. She is definitely not like our usual numbers." Finch said with concern as he watched Emily pet Bear.

"We'll figure it out Finch. We always do."
