Lisanna's POV

I woke up on a small couch, in some sort of office. I felt tears in my eyes as I remembered what happened. I sat up and took in my surroundings, there was a bookshelf to my left and on the wall to my right there were pictures, tons of pictures of Lucy and Levy.

They were smiling in each picture. I could feel jealousy course through me. I looked around more and saw a desk with a rolling chair behind it. On top of the desk was a radio and next to that was a gramophone player.

I was about to get up when I heard the door open. In walked Lucy, Levy, and a man." So this is the one?" The man asked, eyeing me." Yes sir." Lucy answered.

"If you can get her to stay quiet she may live, but only then. Also here's the payment for your last job." The man said smiling at Lucy, completely ignoring my presence, as he handed her an envelope.

She took it, and he left. Levy let out a breath that she had been holding. "That went better than expected." Lucy sighed out, Levy nodded in agreement.

Lucy threw the envelope on the desk and made her way to me. "It's good to see you're awake." Lucy said with a smile that made my heart flutter.

"Are you feeling ok?" Levy asked walking up to the couch I was still on. I just nodded not trusting my voice. "Listen I'm really sorry you have to go through something like this but I need you to promise me that you will never speak of this with anyone else besides us." Lucy said kneeling in front of me, her hand on mine making a blush rise to my cheeks, voice soft and loving.

I nodded before thinking about what she said. I then realized she asked me to keep this a secret. "Good, now just sit here and relax while me and Levy finish up some paper work."She said in the same tone as before, she then got up and walked to the desk she threw the envelope on earlier.

She sat in the rolling chair behind the desk as Levy just sat down in the bean bag across from the couch I was on. "Hey Lu-chan can you put on some music?" Levy asked after a while of awkward silence. Lucy nodded silently before going to the shelf  next to her desk.

"Any requests?" She asked going through the albums at the bottom of the shelf. "How about some Alex Aiono?" Levy suggested as I stayed quiet. "On it." Lucy replied.

I watched silently as Lucy sang along making my heart beat faster. 'I love her'
