Hello my dear readers! I'm so sorry to disappoint. This isn't an actual new chapter. This is just an update about why there hasn't been a new chapter in almost 6 months.

As you know, almost a year ago I had major back surgery. In my review appointments, it was showing the surgery had basically been unsuccessful. I'm due for my 1 year review appointment soon to see where things are at so wish me luck.

But since I last updated this story, life hasn't been easy. My mentally health declined and I've been waiting to see a specialist for over 6 months (stupid mental health care system). And on top of my back and my mental health, I unfortunately have been through a family tragedy where I lost my brother and cousin on the same night 2 (almost 3) months ago. So, writing has been the least of my priorities and inspiration has been hard to find when I've been so numb constantly. I'm slowly trying to get in a better headspace and try and write more since everything happened. I just wanted to be open and honestly about my state of mind and promise you all that I haven't abandoned the story.

The whole point of this is because I wanted to let you all know that I'm going to be rewriting some of the earlier chapters and proof-reading the entire story before I release a new update. So please bear with me until I finish the long task. I appreciate your support and patience while I sort through everything. I truly do.
