Hi

As I said on my announcement board around 2 days ago, I wanted to make ship babies for WoF dragons. 

This was inspired by the Dragonsheep Hybrid Friday

For now, we have two dragons in query, and one ready

So, without further ado, here's the baby

Her name is Current (as you can see) and she's female

She was born a few years after book 15, when crap well and truly settled. I plan making her the oldest DoD child, since the only one older than her is Clay, and before he realizes that Peril would commit genocide for him, there will be a long time of impatient waiting.

So, Riptide and Tsunami started dating a year after the last book (IF they got together earlier, don't tell me, I'm currently on the hunt for Talons of Power, so no spoilers), and around six months later, Tsunami found out she'd be having an egg. She told Riptide the day after finding out, because she was a tiiiinyyyy bit anxious, but decided to go big or go home. Riptide was absolutely overjoyed, but after that came the difficult thing.

Suprisingly for everyone involved, Coral has taken the news quite well, and gave Riptide a chance with this one (Not before yelling at him for making her daughter have an egg of course)

A year passed with Coral tolerating Riptide' presence on this mortal coil, and the egg hatched. To the absolute ecstasy of Coral, it was a girl. Coral immediaetly fell in love with her granddauther and forgave Riptide for being born. Anemone, who was usually with Tamarine along the coast of the Rainforest, quickly returned to the palace to meet her niece. Since Current was a lovable little Seawing from the day she was hatched, she stole her aunt' heart right away. All of Tsunami' 32 brothers also met the newest addition to their already giant family, and, of course, loved their niece right away, though she's taken great interest in Turtle specifically.

The DoD was also scheduled to come to see the little baby, but the way they told them was amazing. Tsunami scheduled a meetup with all of her adoptive siblings and when they all arrived she told them that she has something very important to show them. After that, a two-month-old Current waddled from behind Tsunami and just stared at them, as the older Seawing said "This is my heir". 

Sunny started squeaking about her OTP (Riptide was flying nearby to avoid anger from the DoD, but she knew who was Current' father) and hugged Tsunami, Glory had her jaw on the floor, Starflight just stood there, confused, due to the fact that he was blind, but by far the best reaction had to be Clay'. He just said "Cool" and kinda brushed it off, when suddenly it seemed like his brain computed the situation, as he had an exetremely shocked expression on his face and yelled "WHAT!!????!?!" so loudly that it was probably heard in the Ice Kingdom.

Upon hearing that, Glory snapped out of her stupor and started asking questions to Tsunami, who responded to abut half of them, and saying that whoever was the father of the smol was in big trouble, while Sunny explained things to poor Starflight. He was also shocked,  but just said "Riptide's the father, isn't he?" and Tsunami blushed while Glory stopped sending death threats upon the poor Seawing.

At that point, Riptide landed and started playing with Current. Everyone, of course, loved her, even though she was a bit mischevous and nibbled on Glory' talon. Her favorite DoD member is Sunny, while the least favorite is Glory.  

Current grew up in the palace, but Riptide gave her some much needed lessons, AKA told her aquatic other than the Queen' scrolls, told her how to fight and about the other tribes and their traditions. She respected dragons and their beliefs. She was exetremely extroverted, having a whole bunch of friends, and she was a bit bossy from Tsunami, but is calm after Riptide. She inherited her father' acting skills, as well as his loyalty, bu got the protectiveness and fierceness from her mother. 

Coral always loved to keep her close, and even suggested that Tsunami should get her a leash, but Tsunami loudly disagreed, leading to conflict.

Current adored Turtle, playing with him often as a small dragonet and going with him on adventures when she was older. She got him into the adventures when she asked him to go with her on a trip, and after poor anxious Turtle refused, she said that she'll leave anyway, making her uncle chase her. After that incident, Turtle took her on a trip once a month, just to be sure she didn't venture anywhere alone.

She has a pet shark named Grayscale that she'll defend with her life (no drawing since I just came up with it).
