this was an art idea drifting around in my head with a small story behind it

so

the picture shows a dragon's arms holding a heart. Yes, an actual, formerly-blood-pumping dragon's heart. The dragon holding the heart is vaguely... off in the head. She doesn't see what's wrong with killing, and just wants to make her crush happy. Dragons associate hearts with love just like humans do, so she thought, "hey, why not give (crush) an actual heart?" She doesn't understand why everyone's so disgusted, especially her crush.

"It was for you. A gift. A heart, right? They symbolize love. And since I can't give my own heart to you, this is as close as I can get."
