Chapter 9

The "stick to your side"-bit didn't work out as good as you had hoped it would work out because the next thing you knew was that you woke up to the sound of your alarm before feeling like you were being crushed by Harrison who was sprawled out almost completely on top of you.

"Thought I told you to stick to your own side." You groaned as you tried to push the boy off you.

"I didn't hear you complaining when you needed me for warmth and literally pushed your ice blocks of feet between mine." Harrison mumbled as he started to slowly wake up from his deep slumber.

"I was cold." You pouted as Harrison let go of you to find his way back to his own side. Feeling the lack of warmth immediately, you almost pulled him back to your side of the bed.

"So what you're saying is that all you see in me is a human heater. You're using me as your damn heating system!" Harrison pouted back at you.

"And you're using me as your fake girlfriend, so I guess we're even my love." You laughed before hopping out of bed and grabbing your stuff to take a shower.

As the blonde watched you leave through the door to his room, he couldn't help but smile - and wonder what he had gotten himself into, because he sure as hell felt his heart drop a little when you mentioned that you were only his fake girlfriend

Scrolling through Instagram, he realized that he didn't even follow you on there. Curiosity got the best of him as he typed in your name in the hopes of your account popping up, which it did. Pressing the follow button before continuing to like every single one of your posts, he found himself stopping at one of your selfies which could easily be described as his favourite picture of you he had ever seen. After screenshotting the picture, he was pretty pleased with how it ended up looking as his phone wallpaper.

You decided to get fully ready for the wedding after breakfast, so you currently found yourself standing in the bathroom, wanting nothing more than one of Harrison's shirts to wear. You thought about wrapping the towel back around you to ask if he would give you one of his shirts when you remembered that running around half naked in the boy's family home wasn't one of your greatest ideas, so you put your pyjama back on and made your way towards Harrison's room.

Harrison left the room to take a shower seconds after you had stepped back into the room. He had told you to meet him downstairs in a few minutes before he had left, leaving you no time to ask for a shirt, but you figured he wouldn't mind, so you just tossed on the shirt he had worn yesterday before making your way downstairs to where Tom was already helping Harrison's mum with setting the table for breakfast.

You were greeted by both of them when Charlotte walked into the kitchen, eyes still full of sleep as she complained about having to wake up that early on a Saturday. After helping place everything on the breakfast table, you found yourself sitting next to Tom who was looking at you, a stupid grin plastered on his face as you assumed that he had identified the shirt you were currently wearing as his best friend's.

"Slept well last night?" He grinned at you, making you want to bash his head against the table in front of you.

Before you had the chance to answer, Harrison walked into the kitchen. The blonde leaned down to leave a soft kiss on top of your hair before he made his way over to his mum to greet her.

"Morning." The boy smiled when he sat down next to you, his arm finding its way onto the back of your chair.

"(Y/N) was just telling me about how well she - ow!" Tom groaned as he held the spot on his leg where you had just kicked him, "You monster."

"Is that my shirt?" Harrison whispered into your ear after he had pulled you closer to him.

"Maybe." You smiled as you turned your head to look at the boy next to you. You hadn't realized how close you were actually sitting which resulted in you almost crashing your face into Harrison's.

"Hot." He smirked as his soft blue eyes dropped down to your lips, making you forget about the people around you as you wanted nothing more than to close the gap between the two of you.

Harrison had the same thoughts as you. His only wish was to feel your soft lips on top of his own. He felt the tension that was currently building up between the two of you and he caught himself getting lost in your eyes as he felt himself lean in.

"And with that I'm back to third wheeling." Tom's voice ripped both of you out of your shared daydream as you let out an awkward cough before scooting away from your fake boyfriend. Tom could've sworn, that if looks could kill, Harrison's look would've made him drop dead on the spot.

Harrison's stepfather walked into the kitchen only minutes after, Monty following close behind before everyone ate their breakfast in mostly silence, with just Harrison's mum asking you a few questions here and there and Charlotte complaining about how she needed more sleep.

Time flew by quickly as you found yourself standing in Harrison's bedroom unable to zip up your dress yourself. Harrison had left you his room so you could get ready while he was getting ready in the guest room with Tom. You considered asking Charlotte if she could help you with the dress, but she would probably ask you why you didn't just ask your boyfriend. Grabbing your phone you pushed the call button next to Harrison's name.

"Miss me already?" You could almost hear the smug grin on his face through the phone.

"I- uhm, kind of need you for a second in here." You explained before hanging up only a split second before the door to the boy's bedroom opened.

"So what can I-" Harrison started but stopped in his tracks when you turned around to explain your problem.

The boy's eyes widened as they went up and down your body, his mouth almost dropping open by the looks of it. You could see him gulp as his eyes found yours again.

"Y-You, uhm, you look good." The boy wasn't looking bad either. He was currently wearing black suit pants and a white shirt and you had to admit that he looked gorgeous.

"Good huh? Exactly what I was going for." You chuckled before turning back around, "Would you do me a favour and zip up that damn dress? I can't seem to do it myself. And I figured asking your sister wasn't the best idea since you're supposed to be my boyfriend who could easily help me."

Hearing Harrison step closer, you soon felt his presence close behind you. The boy's hands came in touch with the soft skin on your back as he pulled up the zipper, leaving behind a trail of goosebumps where his fingertips had graced your naked skin.

"You look stunning." The boy whispered after he had pulled up the zipper completely, "It's been a while since I've seen you in your own clothes." He chuckled as he placed a kiss on the exposed skin on your shoulder.

"Watch it, Osterfield!" You laughed as you turned around, "I was wearing my own clothes when we drove here yesterday!" You smiled as your hands went up to fix the tie around his neck.

"You look better in mine though." He grinned as he felt himself get lost in your eyes again. This time, there was no Tom interrupting you, this time, there was no one here to witness your fake relationship and this time, this whole fucking thing felt so damn real when your lips landed on his own.

Something about this innocent but at the same time intense kiss scared you. It was like Harrison came swooping into your life to tear down all the walls you had built around you in the past years, to show you that guys weren't that bad.

But you knew that Harrison was the worst guy to try and show you that, because he was still Harrison.

Your hands were playing with the soft curls on the back of the boy's neck as the boy's hands held you close with a firm grip on your hips. He tasted like this morning's tea, but at the same time like a forbidden fruit you wanted to taste again, like something you weren't supposed to like so much. You found yourself deepening the kiss when there was a knock on your door.

"Can I come in?" You heard Tom ask as you pulled apart.

"Someone learned how to knock." Harrison mumbled against your lips before placing one last soft kiss on them as he finally pulled away from you to wipe off the lipstick on his lips, "Come in."

"Are you guys- damn (Y/N)! You look hot!" Tom grinned when he saw you in your dress, making the heat spread in your cheeks, "Are you dating anyone or can I take you out someday?"

"I will literally beat you up." Harrison groaned as his arm sneaked around you back to pull you into his side, "Claimed her as mine in front of my family already, so tough luck, mate."

"Alright lovebirds, I get it." Tom chuckled as you were about to throw something at him, "Just wanted to know if you're ready. We'll be leaving in about five to ten minutes."

"Yeah, I'm ready," You said, before adding a mumbled "jus' need to fix my lipstick" as you turned around, hoping only Harrison heard that bit - and the boy did.

The blonde had a hard time not grinning from ear to ear as he bit back a smile that was forming on his lips. Harrison knew that something was happening to him, because never in life had he felt like that after just kissing someone, of course he always felt like being on a height when he was occupied with some girl, but this was different and he still tried to wrap his head around what it was.

Harrison didn't do feelings, he had told you that from the minute the two of you started talking. He had didn't do feelings - before. That was what his brain kept screaming at him but just like you, he pushed those thoughts back into the darkest corners of his brain as he watched you playfully push Tom out of the door before following him.

Stupid fake relationships.
