Chapter 7

Feeling incredibly warm, you opened your eyes just to be blinded by the bright morning sun, you tried to change your sleeping position but soon realized that you couldn't move.

Turning your head to your right, you were greeted by the sleeping form of no other than the one and only Harrison Osterfield. Your eyes went wide as you quickly grabbed the blanket that had been thrown over you to see if you were still wearing clothes. You let out a sigh of relief as you realize you were still in Harrison's shirt and seemed to have only taken off your pants for your own comfort.

Something you had completely missed in your state of panic was that Harrison had his arm firmly wrapped around your waist as he was still fast asleep. Your whole body went freezing as memories of last night shot into your brain.

"Tom! Come here you fucking asshole, I'm going to punch the hell out of you." Harrison shouted as Tom came running towards you, a big grin on his face mixed with a pinch of terror in his eyes.

"Protect me from this maniac!" Tom shouted as he ran behind you, using you as his human shield to protect himself from his best friend.

"She's not going to help you, man. You're getting punched either way." Harrison laughed as he came to stand in front of you.

"Nope, nope, nope. I'm too pretty to have my face ruined by you." Tom laughed as he still held you steady in front of him.

"Well, if you want to keep standing behind my girl, feel free to do so, but don't complain when I do this." Harrison grinned at you and before you realized it, he had pulled you closer to him just to press his lips to yours for the second time this evening.

"Ohh gross! Why did I have to witness this?" Tom groaned as he let go of you to take a step back.

Harrison pressed another soft kiss to your lips before his mouth turned into a smirk. His blue eyes found Tom's brown ones as Tom realized his shield was now gone and he was standing on the battlefield without protection.

"I'll be right back, Love." Harrison smiled as he sprinted off behind Tom who was already running for his life.

You remembered that Harry and Sam had found you soon after Harrison and Tom sprinted off again and that they had dragged you to the beer pong table were you obviously got pretty drunk. Next thing you remembered was that the five of you were on your way back, the banter between Harrison and Tom still going strong.

"I can't believe you threw a full beer can against my head." Tom groaned as he held the side of his head.

You were walking alongside Harry and Sam in front of the two idiots, while Harry told you about how he was never going to drink again.

"Listen, mate." Harrison chuckled, "I clearly shouted "Oi, Tom, catch!" before throwing it. Also, you had complained about not having a beer so I thought I'd throw you one and be a good friend."

"Yeah, you could've waited at least a second before throwing it, Harrison, one second!" Tom laughed before shoving the boy into you.

Harrison was quick to react as his arms immediately went around your waist, making walking incredibly hard and uncomfortable now that you had to basically drag this boy's drunk ass with you.

"Hi." Harrison giggled as you felt yourself roll your eyes.

"Hi." You said before trying to peel the boy's arms off your body, "Think you could do me a favour and not put all your weight on me?"

"You're comfy." Harrison mumbled as he tightened the grip around your middle.

"Didn't you say that they aren't dating?" Harry turned around to look at his older brother with his eyebrow raised.

"Fuck knows, all I know is that they deserve each other." Tom shrugged, still rubbing the bump on his head.

"Shut up Tom, or I'll be the one throwing the beer can next time." You groaned, still trying to walk with Harrison clinging to your body, "Harrison! Piss. Off."

"You're rude." Harrison whined as he let go of you and found his way back to his best friend's side.

How you even ended up in the boy's bed? Well, let's say everyone was still too drunk to go to bed immediately, so the boys decided that it was time for an after party at their place. You remember almost falling asleep on Harrison's chest as you watched Harry try to juggle three apples with a bottle of beer balancing on his forehead. Safe to say he failed - horribly.

Harrison had told you that you could stay over if you wanted to and that he was cool with taking the couch so you could sleep in his bed, but as soon as he had carried your sleeping from to bed, he crashed next to you, drifting off into a deep slumber - which explained a lot about the position you currently found yourself in.

Glancing at the time on your phone, you shot up from your lying position, waking up Harrison in the process.

"Fuck!"

"What?" Harrison groaned as he tried to pull you back down. He was clearly not ready to get out of bed yet.

"We have a course in 45 minutes. Get up, you idiot." You said as you jumped out of bed before instinctively making your way over to Harrison's closet to grab yourself some clothes.

"Wearing my stuff again, huh?" You heard Harrison mumble Turning around, you saw him grin at you from his bed, still not looking like he was thinking about getting up and getting ready for class.

"Not enough time to stop at my place." You shrugged, "Get up, Harrison! You're not going to skip your education today, Partyboy." You laughed as you threw him some of his clothes before disappearing through the bedroom door to make your way to the bathroom.

Getting ready in the matter of minutes, you were greeted by a grinning Tom who was trying to get rid of his hangover by looking like a piece of shit on the couch in the living room.

"Is this how we're doing this now?" Tom laughed as his eyes landed on the shirt you were wearing.

"This," you said, motioning to the state you were in right now, "is your fault! I wasn't the one who, oh so desperately, wanted to go to this party."

"Yeah, but I wasn't the one locking lips with my boyfriend before getting drunk off my ass with Sam and Harry, was I?"

"How often do I have to -" You started your counter attack when you heard the door to Harrison's bedroom open.

"You really haven't learned your lesson, have you?" Harrison laughed as he appeared in your field of sight, only the bottom half of his body covered in clothes.

"Good morning." He walked past you and vanished into the bathroom after quickly pressing a kiss on your lips, leaving you standing in the living room with your eyes opened wide.

Of course you had kissed two times last night, but you definitely got caught off guard with that one. There was no one around who didn't know about your arrangement, no one who needed to be convinced that you were dating - and yet he had still kissed you.

Blaming the alcohol that was still in both of your systems, you pushed the thought of this being more than just pretend far into the back of your head. Back to where you had pushed the thoughts of everything concerning this thing between Harrison and you - because this was fake and Harrison Osterfield did not do anything close to real.

"You were saying?" The brunette smirked, making you start a silent discussion with yourself about the moral correctness of starting to hit the boy at 8am.

"Still not my boyfriend, dickhead." You said before flipping him off and making your way towards Harrison's room.

When Harrison was ready, the two of you had 20 minutes left to get to Uni, which should have easily be made in time, but if you're Harrison Osterfield, you obviously need to stop for a coffee before getting to your lecture.

Everything seemed to be normal between the two of you, no words spoken about yesterday's kiss and definitely no words spoken about the kiss this morning, but you definitely didn't complain about that not being brought up again - simply because you had no idea what to think of it.

"Harrison, come on. You can get your damn coffee in two hours." You groaned as you stood next to the boy, waiting for the line to move forward so you wouldn't show up too late in the first place.

You had told him you were going to wait for him in class and that he was old enough to get his coffee alone, but he had looked at you with a pout on his lips and asked you to join him so he wouldn't be bored while waiting in line.

"I've already told you, that if you don't want me to be a pain in the ass, you definitely need me to get my coffee." He laughed as you took another look at the time. 5 minutes.

"And I've already told you that I've never been late to class and that I really don't want to be late for this one. You know that this is your fault, right?" You asked, raising your eyebrow at him as you saw his lips form a smile.

"I've already told you that I'm sorry that I didn't set the alarm, but you were just as smashed as I was." Harrison laughed before throwing an arm around your shoulder, pulling you into his side.

You didn't know what it was about that boy being so comfortable with this whole PDA thing and this whole dating thing, but he literally couldn't give less off a fuck about the side eyes everyone was giving you - and only you.

"Is she H's latest hook-up?" You heard someone whisper behind you as you had your arms still wrapped around the boy's middle.

You were stupid to think that people wouldn't start talking about you after what had happened at that party yesterday - and after you literally showed up to Uni in his shirt with your arms wrapped around his torso. You were stupid to think that Harrison wasn't exactly the guy everyone had warned you about and you were stupid to think that Harrison wanting you by his side this morning wasn't about showing you off to the world after you had "spent the night together".

"What's wrong?" Harrison asked as you let go of him and took a step to the left, so you looked like you weren't even there with him anyone.

"Gotta make a call, I'll uh- just wait outside for you, okay?" You tried to smile at him before making your way outside.

You wanted to just leave and go to your lecture, but something inside of you screamed at you to stay and wait for him. To stay and let everyone talk about you. To stay and wait for Harrison to turn out to be the guy everyone told you about.

"What's wrong?" You hadn't even seen Harrison come out until he stood in front you, a hint of concern showing on his face.

"Nothing. Can we go now?" You rhetorically asked since you had already started walking towards the university building.

"Something's wrong, what is it? Is it about what these guys said a few minutes ago?" Harrison asked, already knowing what your change in behaviour was about.

"What do you think, Harrison?" You asked as stopped in your tracks to turn around to face the boy.

"Don't listen to them. I've stopped listening ages ago." He said as he tried to grab your hand to pull you closer to him. The boy didn't even know why he was so concerned about you backing out of this thing between you, but he for sure knew that he didn't want this to stop before it hadn't even started.

"It's not as bad for you, Harrison." You scoffed, "Because you're the guy who gets all the girls, but I'll be the girl who sleeps with the guy who gets all the girls. Yeah, sound fair right? You're the king on the campus and I'm the slut, isn't this how this works?"

"(Y/N), we're not sleeping with each other if you haven't noticed." You wanted to punch the stupid grin off his face, you wanted to punch yourself for even trying to explain your situation to him.

"Why did I even think I could explain this to you?" You rolled your eyes as you went back to walking to class.

"No, wait, (Y/N), stop! That's not how I meant it." Harrison caught up to you before grabbing your wrist and making you stop so you would listen to what he had to say, "I- I didn't think about other people. I shouldn't have kissed you in front of some of our class mates a-and I shouldn't have put my arm around you this morning. I simply stopped caring about what everyone else is saying, because their versions of what happened are bullshit either way. I- I didn't think about how you felt about this. I'm sorry, okay?"

"It's fine, let's just get this weekend over and we'll go back to our normal lives. No pretending, no relationship, no kisses." As you said those words out loud, something inside both of you seemed to have caught on to the fact that this was still a fake arrangement and that you obviously got way too caught up in it the night before and that this would be over sooner than it even started.

And Harrison couldn't only speak for himself when he said that he hoped this weekend would last forever - because on Monday, everything would change again.
