Chapter 4

The hug the two of you shared was quick and awkward. Harrison didn't know why he went for the hug, but he couldn't help himself but feel relieved about the fact that he didn't have to listen to his grandmother complain about how he wasn't able to commit to a steady relationship or about how he needed to start thinking about his future.

After your hug, the two of you went back to working out the schedule for your project. Harrison was going to do all the theoretical stuff and write about everything you were doing while you would come in a lot later to direct and film the short film with Harry's assistance. Harrison told you he'd be up for starring in it if you decided to film something with people, he also said that he was sure Tom was also up for an acting role if you need someone else. Of course he was, from what you knew about Tom Holland was that he was constantly trying to land major roles in different movies here and there. Was he talented? No idea, but based on simply his looks, you were pretty sure if he had at least a tiny bit of talent, he was for sure going to make it one day.

After having a rough schedule of when you were going to do what, you decided to meet up again on Wednesday, but this time it wouldn't be about your project. The two of you knew that if you wanted to be a believable couple, you needed to at least know the basics about each other and the basics about your relationship, like how it started or if somebody had already said the three magic words.

"Alright, so, I'll see you on Wednesday?" Harrison said as he walked you to the boys front door.

"Yeah, I guess so." You chuckled as you put on your shoes, "Bye Harrison."

On your way home you thought about what just happened in the past four hours. You couldn't get the thought about Harrison not being the guy you thought he was out of your head and something inside of you told you that you were in for a big surprise on the weekend. The boy may sometimes be a little cocky and have an absolute fuckboy attitude, but you were pretty sure that this wasn't the real Harrison. Would you get to know the real Harrison? You didn't know, but you figured seeing him at home with his family was going to be the closest you'd get to the real one before this thing, or whatever you could call it, was over again.

Wednesday came around fast after you basically did nothing but go to your class and meet up with Jess for breakfast on Tuesday. Harrison had texted you to meet up Just somewhere outside the building where it's sunny and we can sit on the grass. You're going to find me, don't worry.

Wandering around the lawn in front of the University building your biggest regret was to not tell Harrison the exact spot where you would meet up. Why did he think you would find each other in between hundreds of students that were relaxing on the lawn? Pulling out your phone, you were about to text him when you heard someone shout your name.

The familiar voice didn't belong to Harrison, but it was close enough. Seeing the brunette mop of happiness wave in your direction, you felt your lips spread into a smile. How could someone not smile when being greeted like that by the one and only Tom Holland? Harrison was sitting next to his best friend, typing away on his Macbook before his eyes met yours and his lips formed a friendly smile.

Walking over to the two of them you wondered if Tom knew about your thing or if you should pretend like you were actually a thing. You just wished he was alone and you could've talked your "game plan" before being confronted with reality that quick.

"Hey.. H-Handsome." You smiled, before settling down next to Harrison, making the two of them burst out into laughter.

"You really need a game plan, my loves. Your family is going to see that this is fake in less than two seconds." Tom laughed as you felt relieve spread through your chest.

"Oh, thank fuck, he knows?" You laughed as you looked at Harrison who was still trying to hide the grin that was showing on his face after you had awkwardly called him Handsome.

"As if this div can keep a secret from me." Tom laughed before Harrison kicked the boy's leg, "Don't worry, your secret is safe with me... and also I'm kind of partly responsible for his mum thinking your his girlfriend."

"Excuse me? Partly?" Harrison chimed in with a raised eyebrow.

"Fine, my fault. But! This is going to be great. I'm going to have so much fun this weekend." Tom grinned at the both of you.

"Glad you're going to have fun, mate. You're not the one who has to pretend to be dating (Y/N) in front of his whole family after first talking to her four days ago. Four!" Harrison groaned.

"That's four days longer than you've talked to any other girl, ay?" You shrugged as Tom burst out laughing again before holding up his hand, silently demanding a high five from you.

"Oh great, now I've got two of your kind in my life." Harrison said dramatically, but couldn't help and smile at you high-fiving his best friend. The boy was once again surprised by your abilities to roast him in the most unexpected situations.

"No matter what happens, I'm going to keep her." Tom laughed as he got up and patted your head, "Have fun, lovebirds. I'm expecting a run down on your game plan tonight, Osterfield."

"Piss off, Holland." Harrison laughed as he pushed Tom's legs away from him. The curly brunette flipped his best friend his middle finger as he jogged towards the entrance of the building.

"So, game plan." The blonde grinned as he turned to you.

"Yes, game plan." You laughed, "First of all, I need names and faces. Give me a quick run down on all the important people."

"Alright, I'm just going to show you our Christmas picture from last year, everyone important should be on there. Don't worry if you can't remember all of their names though, we've got a big family with some complicated connections." Harrison laughed as he showed you their Christmas picture, explaining who everyone was. Safe to say you were probably only going to remember his siblings and parents names and faces, "Got it?"

"Absolutely not, but I think as long as I remember your parents and your siblings, I'm good, right?" You asked nervously.

"Of course, that's fine. They're going to introduce themselves anyway. Oh and my niece Eva can be a bit... let's say possessive when it comes to me, so don't be scared when she doesn't like you at first." Harrison laughed as you gulped and nodded.

"Alright, so... now the important questions: How long have we been dating? Who asked who out? And has anyone said I love you already?" You said as your eyes met Harrison's blue ones.

"We shouldn't make it too long, but not too short either. How about we've been together for about 2 months now?" He said as he seemed to be in deep thought, "So everything is still fresh, but we're already at a time where it's alright for you to meet my family?"

"Sounds good to me." You nodded.

"I asked you out. I'm already using you for this, so no need to make you look like you were hopelessly head over heels for me before we started dating." He grinned, "Unless you were, I mean, we could totally make it look like you knew from the first time you saw me that I'm the love of your life."

"You wish, Osterfield, you wish." You laughed as you hit his chest, "You asked me out. We've seen each other around in class and at parties and you asked me out for a study date and I agreed and the rest is history."

"We haven't said I love you yet. Two months is too early."

"Isn't it always too early for you?" You grinned.

"My family doesn't need to know that." He laughed as he rolled his eyes at your question, "Anything else?"

"Yes, don't kiss me." You said, making Harrison raise his eyebrow. To be fair, he hadn't even thought about kissing you until you brought it up, but there was no way the two of you would get through the weekend without a kiss or two.

"That's not going to work. I need to kiss you for my mum to believe us."

"I'm not going to kiss you, Osterfield, forget it." You said, making Harrison groan.

"Five kisses." He said, looking at you with his blue eyes. "Give me something here, (Y/N)."

"One." You argued.

"Four."

"No. I'm not going to kiss you more than once."

"Three." He whined, making you roll your eyes.

"One."

"One and one extra? For practice?" He grinned as he pouted his lips at you, making your eyes flicker down to his soft pink lips.

"Do I look like I need kissing practice?" You gasped, playing offended.

"(Y/N), you need to give me something here. I'm really trying to make this easy for both of us, but I know my mum and she's not going to believe us if she doesn't see us kissing within the days we are there. Pleaaase." He begged, putting on his best puppy face, something he seemed to have learned from Tom.

"Alright, alright. Two kisses there, one for practice? How does that sound to you?" You rolled your eyes as Harrison's lips formed a smile.

"I would've gone with one in my next sentence, but that sounds like a deal, Love." He grinned as you groaned and flipped him off, "Speaking of that, what about pet names? You seemed pretty smitten with calling me Handsome, huh?"

"I-I didn't know if Tom knew, so I figured I might as well call you Handsome." You shrugged, "I don't mind using pet names if you want to."

"Then it's settled, Beautiful." He grinned.

"Don't overuse them, Pretty Boy." You chuckled as Harrison looked at you, a soft smile showing on his lips.

"So, about that practice kiss..." The blonde grinned, scooting closer to you, "How does now sound?"

"I'm not going to kiss you in public with hundreds of people walking around." You laughed as you pushed him further away from you.

"Who cares? They can go fuck themselves and mind their own business." Harrison shrugged, clearly not as uncomfortable with too much PDA as you were.

"I-I'll come around yours tomorrow if you're free or something like that, we're still on for that project thing, right? We can talk about it tomorrow, I'd much rather learn some stuff about you, like favourite food, favourite movie and all that." You said as you scooted a few inches away from the handsome blonde next to you.

"Alright, let's get to know each other then." Harrison smiled before telling you about all of his favourites before listening to yours.
