Chapter 11

"What are you doing to me?" You heard Harrison mumble against your lips as the two of you parted.

Smiling against the boys lips before placing another kiss on his lips, you painfully hoped that he had forgotten about you wanting to kiss him only twice during the weekend. You knew you wanted to kiss him again and you hoped that he felt the same.

It wasn't like you weren't still confused about your feelings, it was more like trying to enjoy the day without thinking about 'breaking up' with Harrison. Was it so wrong of you to push the thoughts of this being fake in to the back of your head?

Harrison's hand was gently placed on your lower back as he pulled you closer into his side while your were watching the newly weds being congratulated by their families.

The boy knew he shouldn't be only watching you. He knew he should enjoy his cousin's wedding simply because it would be one of her best days in her life, but he couldn't stop looking at you. The way your eyes sparkled as they watched the couple, the way a soft smile was gracing your lips when you watched his nephew and the way your hand fit so perfectly in his own was something the boy could get used to.

Harrison's thoughts were interrupted by Tom throwing his arms over the two of you as he pushed himself in between the you.

"Are we getting drunk or are we going to be civilised?" Tom asked as he earned an eye roll from you.

"You know, I always thought you were the innocent one and Harrison dragged you from one party to the next one, but boy was I wrong, Holland. So wrong." You laughed as you bumped hips with the brunette.

"You only think higher of Harrison now because you're hot for him." Tom grinned before letting go of you and walking away - fast. He knew Harrison would be coming for him if he didn't disappear immediately.

"I hate this kid." You groaned as your arms went around Harrison.

Laying your head on his chest you could hear his heart beat fast as a smile slipped from your lips. Maybe this wasn't one sided at all?

"So, you're hot for me, huh?"

Nevermind.

"If you don't shut up I'll tell your mother that this is fake." You groaned as you pulled away from him.

"I'm kidding." The boy laughed as he looked at you apologetically.

"Nope, you messed up, my Love." You smiled before spotting Harrison's family a few feet away from you as you saw Eva wave at you.

Grabbing Harrison's hand, you walked into the direction of the family. This felt so natural. This felt like a normal family wedding. This felt like everything was real and like you might see them again in a few weeks or months.

Harrison was involved in a conversation with his brother and his sister-in-law as he had finally managed to get Theo to greet him with a hug. You watched the two of them interact when you felt someone poke your leg.

"Is uncle Har going to stop playing with me because of you?" Eva asked as she looked at you with a pout.

"Of course he's not." You smiled as you crouched down to her level.

"But he hasn't played with me at all and hasn't even sat next to me at the wedding although he promised me ages ago." The girl explained.

"Oh, Sweetie, I'll make sure he'll play with you later, okay?" You smiled at her, "And you can sit in between us for the dinner if you want."

Eva nodded as a big grin spread on her face before she ran off to go attack Harrison's legs.

"Don't listen to her if she tries to make you feel guilty for being this idiot's girlfriend." Charlotte said as she came over to stand closer to you.

"Too late." You laughed as your eyes wandered over to where Harrison was still busy with entertaining his nephew and now his niece as well.

"I don't get it." Charlotte laughed, "He's annoying."

"He is." You chuckled, "But I'd much rather be annoyed by him than anyone else." - and you hated how you were speaking nothing but the truth right now.

"He's a good guy, you know." The girl went from joking around to actually being serious. You could see that she cared a lot about her older brother, and you thought it was adorable how she was currently trying to tell you that your boyfriend was a good guy.

"I know."

"I've heard my parents speak about him not being able to commit to a relationship," the girl hesitated before continuing, "I think he just didn't find the right one before."

"Do you think he did now?" You chuckled as you were eager to hear her answer.

"I do." She laughed, "I can see how he looks at you. He loves you."

You almost choked on your own breath as you let the words sink. He loves you. Damn, the two of you really deserved an Oscar for your performance because you were definitely convincing in your roles.

You hated lying to them. Charlotte was being so incredibly sweet to you and it hurt you to not tell her that her brother was still not able to maintain a steady relationship, that he still hadn't found the right one, because all you knew right now was that it was definitely not you.

Not knowing what to answer, you were more than just happy about Tom interrupting you - for the first and probably last time in your life.

The brunette managed to pull all the attention towards himself as he told you that you would be leaving for the party venue in a bit.

You were excited to see how the rest of the day would be going, but you still didn't manage to fully shut off the thoughts about having to go back to your normal life again after tomorrow. Was it really possible that you were already so comfortable around Harrison after only first talking to him a week ago?

He loves you.

As you eyes wandered over to where he was throwing his nephew in the air before catching him to make him giggle you knew why he was so popular around campus. He was beautiful, but you also knew that the reason you liked Harrison was a different one than every single girl on campus would've told you - and you felt like you were the only one who got to see behind all this facade he had learned to put on in from off girls.

Harrison managed to make Theo laugh another time as he caught him again before tickling his sides. The boy loved his niece and his nephew and he wouldn't want to miss them. His eyes were constantly swerving over to you as you first talked to his niece before talking to his sister, but this time, he saw you looking at him already, a smile gracing your lips as your eyes met his.

Holding on to his little nephew he walked towards you. Harrison had realised fast that he couldn't bare to be away from you today. Mostly because something about you always pulled him towards you, but also because he didn't know if this was the last time he was able to get so close to you.

"Have I told you already that you look beautiful?" Harrison smiled as he leaned in to place a kiss on your lips that made Theo squirm in the boy's arms.

"No, I don't believe so." You grinned as your hand found Harrison's for the fourth time that day, relaxing you immediately.

Knowing that Harrison was there with you, knowing that he was in this with you, made this whole show so much easier. Harrison made it easy to pretend to be his girlfriend because he sure as hell treated you like you weren't pretending.

"Then I'm going to say it again, you're beautiful." He grinned just seconds before Theo started wiggling in the boy's arms again, signalling the two of you that he needed attention.

Only minutes after you started to put all your attention on the little boy, Harrison's family informed you that you would be leaving for the wedding party, so you hopped in Tom's car after dropping Theo off at his parents' car.

It wasn't a long ride to the venue, but you spent the ride in the back trying to wrap your head around Charlotte saying that Harrison loved you. Of course the girl didn't know better, but a part of you was swooning over the fact that she had told you that you meant a lot to her brother.

Arriving at the venue for the wedding party, Harrison got out of the car before being a full on gentleman and opening the back door for you, making you roll your eyes at him before connecting your hand with his again.

"By the way, I told Eva that she could sit in between us." You said as the two of you were looking for your seats and waited for the rest of Harrison's family to arrive.

"Did she guilt trip you into this?" Harrison laughed as you turned to look at him.

"Maybe," you chuckled, "but you told her she could sit next to you at the ceremony and then you ignored her, you monster."

"Hey! Don't call me a monster." The blonde laughed as his hands found their way onto your waist to pull you closer.

"Hm, why not?" Grinning, you put your arms around his neck as you felt yourself get lost in the boy's blue eyes.

"What are you doing to me?" Harrison mumbled for the second time this day before his lips landed on top of you own, making you melt into his touch again.

"We shouldn't be doing this." You whispered against the boys lips after you pulled away, "I said two kisses."

"We're already over that, Love, so we may as well break all the rules." He grinned before you heard someone shout your names, making your spring apart again - this was again one of those times where Tom was the worst wingman Harrison ever had.

"Found our table," Tom grinned before he made kissing faces at the two of you, "also, please get a room next time."

You didn't have time to respond because the rest of Harrison's family had arrived, so you were back to being surrounded by the people you were currently lying to. You hated lying and you sure as hell hated lying to them because they had been nothing but nice to you and they had all been so welcoming, making you wish that Harrison had saved this experience for someone he really loved and for someone who would be his real girlfriend at some point in the future.

With Eva claiming the seat in between Harrison and you, Tom had claimed the seat next to you and you were thankful for that. At least one person next to you who knew the truth. You knew the two of you were usually trying to take the piss as much as you could, but there was no doubt that Tom was becoming one of your best friends - at least for the time being.

You had no idea what was going to happen after tomorrow or what was going to happen with your friendship, but Tom started to grow on you - and so did Harrison and his family. Somewhere down the line Theo ended up back in your lap as everyone else had gone off to chat to some guests who were arriving at the venue.

Harrison was busy entertaining the little girl next to you, so you stuck to Tom for entertainment. The brunette was making faces at the little boy in your lap as he desperately tried to get him to laugh at something he did.

"He just doesn't like me." Tom groaned after another unsuccessful try of making the toddler laugh.

"You're trying too hard, Tom." You laughed as you let Theo bounce up and down on your legs.

Harrison was only half heartedly playing with his niece as his eyes always seem to find their way back to you. The way you were laughing along to something Tom said, the way you were joking around with him, the way you got along so well with him bothered the blonde. Of course, Tom was his best mate, but at this point, he wished he hadn't told him about your arrangement - because then you would be off limits and he wouldn't have to worry about Tom making a move on you as soon as Sunday was over.

"Bro, you're staring." Charlotte said from beside him as he almost had a heart attack after not realizing she had been there for a while.

"I'm not staring."

"I never thought there'd be a day where you would find your match." Charlotte laughed before sitting down on Eva's seat and placing the girl in her lap.

"I like her." Eva giggled as she kept herself busy with a flower that she had found on the table.

"You do?" Harrison grinned, his heart warming at the thought of his little niece accepting you as the boy's girlfriend.

"I like her too, if you care. I wouldn't mind seeing her around more often." The boy's sister laughed.

Harrison didn't know why, but he had the urge to jump up from his seat and pull his sister into the biggest bear hug simply for telling him that she liked you and that they kind of accepted you as a part of this family now.

"I hope you don't mess this up." The girl whispered as she looked back to where you were too busy laughing at some stupid face Tom was currently pulling, "I know you like her a lot."

"I'll try my best." Harrison smiled and before he could react, the child hopped out of Charlotte's lap and was on her way to tell you the news she had just heard.

The little girl came to a halt beside you before tapping you on your arm to get your attention. Still holding on to her little brother, you greeted her with a smile.

"Uncle Har likes you a lot." She giggled before running off into some random direction with Charlotte and Harrison following her close behind.

"So, how excited are we about this?" Tom grinned as you tried to hide the smile that had formed on your lips.

"You know better than everyone else what's happening between us and I'm not going to say anything to expose us." You rolled your eyes as Tom raised his eyebrow at you, as if he tried to tell you the same you were thinking only seconds ago, "What?"

"Careful, (Y/N). One of you will end up hurt if you keep pretending like this isn't developing in so much more." Tom said, acting more serious than you had ever seen him, "I know I'm making a lot of jokes on your costs, but the two of you are playing a risky game right now."

"No one's going to end up hurt if there is nothing to get hurt by in the first place. We both know the rules and we both know it's going to stop tomorrow. Just this weekend and then we're back to project partners, nothing more." You shrugged as Theo started squirming again telling you he needed more attention.

"Don't hurt him, please." Tom smiled before getting up from his seat and leaving you alone to think about what had just happened.

Tom was of course Harrison's best mate and of course he would always look out for the blonde, but why on earth would you be the one hurting him? Wasn't Harrison known for hurting the girls he went out with? And wasn't he know for being theheartbreaker out of you two?

You hadn't dated a lot of people and you sure as hell had never been the one breaking someone's heart. So why would it be different this time? There were no feelings involved at all, so there was no chance that you would end up hurting someone, especially not Harrison since both of you knew that this whole thing was just a big fat lie and neither of you were getting emotionally attached to each other.

Right?
