Stevie awoke with a smile on her face as she stretched and got up to smell coffee as she wondered downstairs to hear Christine's laughter as Stevie walked in to see John covered in pancake mix.

"What happened here?" Stevie asked, chuckling as Christine could not help but laugh.

"We had a little fun before breakfast." Christine said.

"I'm about to head out for my shift." Stevie said as she grabbed a pancake for herself.

"Mick told us that everyone loves you and I'm so excited for you." Christine said.

"He said that?" Stevie asked.

"Mick is my best friend, he tells me everything and he's a great guy and we told him to be on his best behavior around you or he'd have to deal with both of us." John said.

"He's very nice and after I get off work, I might just go spend some time at the beach." Stevie said.

"Have a great day love and the beach is gorgeous at night as you already know." Christine said.

"I will and I will see you later." Stevie said as she kissed Christine's cheek and left the house on her walk along the beach.

"Now, let's clean this up and go have a picnic on the beach." John said as Christine kissed him.

"I'm going to have a shower after this because you decided to hold my breasts in your hands and I'm covered in pancake mix." Christine said as John held her hips.

"It's only fair for the way you made me feel last night and I missed these." John said as he ran his hands up her blouse and held her breasts.

"We don't have anything to really do today, so let's spend all day in bed after the picnic because I really need you again." Christine said as she tugged on his belt loops of his shorts.

"Let's go have a shower and I'd be more than happy to see you on top, because I can't get enough of your beautiful body." John said.

"Come on then." Christine said as John picked her up with her legs wrapped around him and her hands around the back of his neck as they started kissing.

Before they could reach the staircase, the doorbell went off and someone started knocking as John and Christine groaned.

"Who the fuck could that possibly be?" John questioned.

"Ignore it." Christine said as she unbuttoned his shirt as he took off her blouse and tossed it as the doorbell rang again and the knocks started again.

They started kissing again as Christine was getting impatient as she started kissing his neck as her body wanted him so badly.

"Looks like this will have to wait until after whoever this dickhead is to leave." John said as Christine groaned as she hated the person behind that door right at that moment.

John went to put her down as Christine clung to him.

"They can fucking get over it, they interrupted us and I hope they have a good reason to be here because so help me god." Christine said as John went to the door and opened it to reveal a disheveled Lindsey.

"Umm..." Lindsey could not speak.

"Oh look, a fucking dickhead." Christine said as John put her down as she found her blouse as she quickly put it on and grabbed a cigarette and lit it.

"Chris, where's Stevie?" Lindsey asked

"None of your fucking business you asshole. Why are you here?" Christine asked him.

"The other night, I was not thinking clearly and then, I went by the apartment and I seen this address wrote down on a piece of paper that got left behind in Stevie's bedroom as I seen that you both weren't living there anymore." Lindsey said.

"You broke up with her, you don't deserve to see her and she's doing just fine without you." Christine said.

"I just need to see her, please Christine?" Lindsey asked.

"Not happening, Stevie is finally getting better and I don't want you to fuck up the progress she has made. She loves it here and I won't let you bring her down anymore. Stevie is happy, she's out here doing great and finally getting back on her feet." Christine said as she sat beside John.

"I'm sorry I came by but I brought the rest of Stevie's stuff she left behind at the apartment and my apartment." Lindsey said as Christine was glad Stevie was at work.

"Well, thank you for bringing the rest of her belongings." Christine said as they walked Lindsey to the door.

"Give Stevie my best and hopefully, I'll see her again someday in the future." Lindsey said.

"Maybe, have a good life Lindsey." Christine said as Lindsey walked out and left as John held her.

"I just feel like going back to bed." Christine said as John swept her off her feet and carried her upstairs.

"I love you Chris and I love Stevie as well, she's like a sister to me and I will protect you both at every cost and I'm kinda hoping Mick will fall in love with Stevie." John said as Christine smiled.

"I was thinking the same thing, I think they would make such a beautiful couple." Christine said.

"Who knows, they might get married one day." John said as Christine hugged him.

"Imagine that, this house could be our forever home to raise our children and make so many incredible memories." Christine said as she put her hand over her mouth as she was just thinking out loud, it was just a dream.

"You want to have children with me?" John asked her.

"Yes, is that too much?" Christine questioned.

"No, not at all. I want you Christine and I want to spend the rest the rest of my days with you." John said as Christine kissed him.

"I want to spend the rest of my life with you too. I want to have a healthy marriage, have your babies and live happily ever after." Christine said as she started crying as John kissed her.

"Don't cry love, please don't." John said as he wanted this life with her and give her everything she's ever wanted.

"These are happy tears, my heart is just so happy because you're here and Stevie's happy, that's all that I've ever wanted." Christine said.

"I want to build this life with you, we will work together to build this life that we have always wanted and I want you, all of you to know that I love you and only you." John said as he kissed her neck and shoulder as Christine held John.

"I love you too." Christine said.

Night Time

John had just stepped outside as he had his rotating phone in hand as he called Mick at the restaurant.

"Hello, Mick Fleetwood speaking." Mick said.

"Mick, is Stevie there with you?" John asked.

"Hi John and yes she is. By the way, you have the ring with you?" Mick asked as Stevie looked at Mick, she practically jumped up and down with excitement as she grabbed the phone from Mick's hand.

"Oh my God! That's what I have helping Mick do with the food, the champagne, candles and roses? He was asking me about all the romantic things that Christine loves. You're going to ask my best friend to marry you? John, oh my God, please tell me you are?" Stevie asked him.

"Yes I am, I plan on making her dinner and taking her on a walk on the beach." John said, he was so happy and excited.

"OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!" Stevie said excitedly as she started jumping up and down as she handed the phone back to Mick as she was still jumping up and down.

"She's very happy mate." Mick said.

"I can tell." John said chuckling.

"Well, can you keep a secret?" Mick asked him.

"Sure." John said.

"I believe I'm falling in love with Stevie, is that bad even though I haven't known her that long?" Mick asked him.

"You both deserve to be happy and I knew you two would fall in love." John said.

"She's an amazing woman and she told me about her ex." Mick said.

"Just one thing, be careful with her heart Mick, it's very fragile. Her ex boyfriend didn't even work and she paid all the bills while he smoked weed and played guitar." John said.

"I will mate and I'll make sure she's happy and loved. Now, go make your queen happy and we have a wedding to plan." Mick said as Stevie started singing.

"Here comes the bride, all dressed in white!" Stevie sang.

"You better get your ass moving mate." Mick said.

"I'm on it." John said.

"Go put that ring on her finger!" Mick said.

"I'm going! I'm going!" John said as Mick and Stevie hollered.

"Whoo hoo!" Mick and Stevie hollered and started clapping as they hung up.

Later on that night

John made Christine dinner and they start walking on the beach as their hands intertwined together as John was clutching the velvet box in his pocket, he was excited to ask Christine to marry him, he wanted to start this chapter with her and he wanted to make her happy.

"It's such a beautiful night." Christine said.

"It definitely is sweetheart." John said.

"I wish this night would never end." Christine said as that made John smile.

"Darling?" John questioned.

"Hmm..." Christine hummed.

"Christine, you're the best thing that ever happened to me. Since the day we met, you've always made me smile and you made me a better man and I want you today, tomorrow and forever." John said as he pulled out the velvet box and got down on one knee as he opened the box as Christine started crying tears of happiness.

"Christine Anne Perfect, will you marry me and make me the happiest man in the world?" John asked.

"Yes! Yes! A million times over and over again!" Christine exclaimed as she jumped up and down as John slid the beautiful ring on her finger as Christine jumped into his arms as he spun her around and she kissed him.

"I love you, I love you, I love you!" Christine said as she kissed him all over.

"I love you too baby." John said.
