The gun has sounded.

And the story begins.

"Sakura!" a voice calls out to her from the darkness. "Sakura!"

She gains consciousness a few seconds later, "Naruto..."

"Yes. What is it? Do you need something? Water—"

"Quiet. My head hurts," she sits up on the bed. "What happened?" she said.

"Sasuke Uchiha," Naruto says, his face full of sorrow. "He escaped while you were interrogating him. He knocked out a few of our officers including you."

"Did anyone..."

"He killed Rio."

Sakura clenches her fists. She's shaking on the verge of tears. She now knows. She's made her decision. Sasuke Uchiha is crazy. He's an insane mental little bastard.

You said I was your best friend, your lover, but I think you're lying. You're making things up to mess with my head. You say you know Naruto, but you don't because if Naruto really was one of you're friends then he'd be stopping at nothing to bring you back from the darkness.

"We need to stop the Uchiha before he hurts anyone else," Sakura says. "He's dangerous and needs to be put in his place."

"Yeah..." Naruto says. "I don't want to see you or any of my comrades hurt." He looks at her, his blue eyes shining. "We'll catch him and make sure he receives hell for all of his crimes."
