Chapter 47
His mother asked. I looked down. But Jungkook just kept his calm confident composure. "That party was for the both of you, and you didn't even stay at least 20 minutes." My mother scolded. "Just like the gala. You both left after 2 hours." My mother-in-law added. I felt terrible. I always obeyed my parents.
I hated seeing them upset with me. And now my mother in law as well. She's probably going to hate me. And she really like me.
Just then, I felt a small touch on my hand. As if he was initiating that I don't need to worry. "Y/n, won't be going to Australia." He spoke with a stern tone. "Excuse me?" My father asked. "She doesn't want to go." Jungkook said. "Is this true Y/n?" My mother and father gazed at me in some sort of shock. I've never gone against them. But I had to be strong. I wasn't going to be a pushover. "Yes it's true . I do not want to go." I breathed out.
My parents looked at me with slight disappointment. But I glanced at him. His expression was stern. But his eyes were saying something different. As if he was proud of me. Proud of me for standing up for myself.
"What's makes you think we still won't send you? Just because you don't want to go?" My mom asked. I looked at her and so did Jungkook. He looked upset. Angry even. Not again. He had major anger issues. No matter how hard I tried to tame it. It kept firing up, especially when the situation angering him involved me. He stood up.
"Have you forgotten, you married your daughter to me?" Jungkook sassed. "She's my wife. And I will NEVER allow my wife's decisions be made for her. Ever again." He spat. I was shocked by his attitude towards the elders. But he was right. I was tired of not getting to decide what I want. "I hope we made that clear enough for you." Jungkook hissed.
He grabbed my hand and we began walking towards the exit. "Well then, I hope that you'll let your father know of this decision." His mother spoke. Jungkook didn't spare a look at her and we left the house. I entered the front seat and he began driving. We left early again. Now I'm afraid my parents would stay mad at me.
I glanced at him. He was worth it. I wasn't sure what made me so drawn to him. Was it his split personality? His short temper? His confidence? His thoughtful gestures? His gentle touch? His soft kisses? Maybe it was just......him?
"Are you alright?" He uttered quietly. I nodded slowly. "Are you happy with your decision?" He asked hesitantly. I smiled. "Very happy." I spoke making a tiny smile creep into his face.
We arrived at home and I noticed he wasn't following me inside the house. "Aren't you coming?" I asked. "I have take care of something first. I'll be back in an hour." He assured. I sighed. "Ok..." I muttered. "Go inside and stay safe ok? And don't sigh." He said as he kissed my cheek, before driving off.
Jungkook POV
I was going to confront my dad about this Y/n situation. I'm sure it was all his idea. Why didn't I think if that before. I called my assistant. "Mr.Jeon?" She answered. "The plans have been canceled, stop any further adjustments to them, they are no longer in effect." I ordered. "But...sir you called it back on a week ago." She said. "What? No I didn't." I replied. "You sent out an email." She informed. I rolled my eyes. "Find the email address and delete it. It's not mine. Make sure to run everything by me before proceeding!" I scowled and hung up.
I hated calling my assistant so late. Her husband gets so mad at me. I rolled my eyes. I made it to my house and entered my father's office immediately. "So you're sending emails and pretending to be me now?" I asked
