Chapter 5 | Mysterious
Part 5
"So, who is this mysterious girl you're seeing?" Adam pleaded Jay for the tenth time this morning. "I am never telling you anything again" Jay called out to Hailey who grinned.
"Detective chuckles, there's a woman downstairs waiting for you" Trudy walked up the stairs and called out. "Is it her?" Adam asked with a dramatic gasp.
Jay checked his watch, noticing the time, they did have a lunch date and Jay had forgotten about the time. "Shut it" Jay retorted and rolled his eyes, skipping down the stairs while putting on his jacket.
Jay immediately spotted a woman, but it wasn't Anna. It was one of his CI's. "Sandra, hi. Everything okay?" Jay asked.
"Is there somewhere we can talk?" she asked, she looked shaken up so Jay brought her into the office nearby.
"The shoot up, last night. It's them–" Sandra stuttered over her words and Jay furrowed his brows. "What do you mean?"
"There's a gang, it's a drug gang, but they've been expanding to weapons. Last night they had a meeting with all of them. There's five of them" Sandra said with worry.
"They've got big plans, Jay. They're gonna take over Chicago" Sandra said, tears brimmed in her eyes and Jay frowned.
"Thank you, Sandra. Do you have any names?" Jay asked. "Isaiah, Isaiah Demico"
Anna raced up to the precinct and stayed outside, waiting for Jay. As she sat there, waiting, Jay finally walked out, skipping down the stairs, his eyes immediately locked with hers.
Anna noticed he looked rather stressed. "Hi, everything okay?" Anna asked when Jay reached her. He nodded and sighed. "I might've just caught a huge case" Jay says and Anna nods her head.
"Well, do you have the time for lunch or are you needed there?" Anna asked, she respected that he might've had to stay.
"Yeah, it's fine. Come with me" Jay said and Anna got off of her motorcycle and followed him to his car. They went to grab sandwiches and after eating and talking, the two had to get back, Jay to the precinct and Anna to her motorcycle.
But on the way Jay stopped at an abandoned parking lot. "Anna, we haven't known each other that long, but with what's on the rise in Chicago, I want you to be extra careful, okay?" Jay said and turned to her, fully serious about it.
"Okay, I will. I understand" Anna said and gave him a small smile before pecking his lips. "I mean it, never leave your door open like you did last night, always check the door, watch the people you run into here" Jay said, as he pulled away.
He needed her to understand just how dangerous Chicago could be. Even though Anna was fully prepared for it, she was CIA after all.
"Okay, I won't. I promise" Anna said and cupped his face, gaining his full attention. "I'm safe, don't worry about me" Anna insisted and Jay scoffed, knowing those words would never fully reassure him.
No matter who said this to him.
"Jay, hey, don't underestimate me. I know how to take care of myself, I promise you" Anna said, his eyes gazed into hers.
"Good" Jay said and crashed his lips onto hers. Anna got on top of him and Jay held her closer than ever, tasting every inch of her, feeling every inch of her.
"Overprotective Jay Halstead is hot" Anna said between kisses, Jay just shut her up by kissing her harder, deepening the kiss.
Jay leaned the seat back so that they were almost laying down, Jay got Anna out of her black jeans while Anna opened his belt and unzipped his pants.
Anna sank herself down onto his cock and moaned as Jay bucked his hips upwards, Anna really did make Jay break laws for her. Fucking in a car in the public.
That was the least of their worries.
Ten minutes later, they were dressed once again. "I'm taking you out tonight" Jay said and pecked Anna's lips once again.
"Okay" Anna said, not objecting one bit. She kissed him harder and he grinned in the kiss. "I have to get back to the precinct soon" Jay said between kisses.
"Okay" Anna mumbled, not showing any signs of backing off, she only deepened the kiss and Jay chuckled, his hand wrapped around the back of her neck, pulling her closer and kissing all air out of her.
Leaving her breathless and panting. "You're addictive" Jay mumbled as he started the car. "I wish we could just stay in the hotel room all day, just you and me" Anna said dreamily as she watched Jay focus on the road as he raced down the street.
"That's the perfect wish" Jay said and winked at her. "This weekend, just wait and see" Jay added and smirked.
"I want to see you in action, I can just imagine you in full gear, guns and everything" Anna said and smiled innocently at him.
"You need to stop, otherwise we aren't leaving this car anytime soon and I need to get back to work" Jay warned her and Anna giggled and eased up.
Letting the heavy tension ease. The two made it back to the station, where Kim and Kevin were exiting the building, Jay didn't see them and neither did Anna.
"Oh, wow, look at them" Kim said in surprise, the two looked at each other lovingly when they exited his car. "Jay's hair is a little out of order, his shirt too" Kevin noted and the two laughed.
"I'll see you tonight, then" Anna said and turned on her heel to leave, but Jay caught her wrist and pulled her back towards him.
"Definitely" He said before kissing her. "I've never seen Jay like this before, it's odd" Kim said as she saw them kiss.
"I agree," Atwater agreed and chuckled. Anna raced off shortly after and Jay finally spotted the two officers and he groaned quietly knowing they would tell everyone.
"Hello Jay," Kim said innocently when he approached them. "Might want to fix that shirt," Atwater said with a chuckle.
Jay rolled his eyes and walked past them into the building. "She's cute!" Kim shouted after him, she got a nice view of his middle finger when he walked in and the two officers began laughing.
Anna raced down in the city and sat down in a café, getting herself a cup of coffee and relaxing as she sat there in peace.
Shortly after, not even ten minutes, sirens blared in the street, Anna immediately paid for her coffee and went out to see what was going on, only to see a few cops chasing down a gang of people running.
Anna saw one slide over the hood of a car, then she realized it was Jay and her eyes widened. He was in full gear, focused and running like hell.
Anna didn't know what to do, she knew she couldn't follow, but did she go or did she stay?
She stood frozen until Jay and a blonde woman came walking back to a few SUV's that stopped to block the road. An older looking guy stepped out of his car and Anna recognized him.
"Hank" Anna whispered and stared as the Intelligence team assembled. Anna knew Hank Voight from Antonio, she had seen pictures of the team, but Hank didn't know her.
Jay's eyes scanned the area and he soon caught the eyes of a familiar woman. He cursed a little under his breath when he saw her just stand there frozen on the spot.
"Good job, bring them in" Hank told the team and everyone nodded, Jay walked off and approached Anna who looked at him shocked.
"Are you okay? Did you see anything?" Jay asked her and glanced at her, checking her body was intact. "Oh, yeah. I'm fine, I just heard sirens and I came out" Anna finally broke her silence.
"Good" Jay said and nodded his head in relief.
"Who is that woman Jay is talking to?" Hank asked Hailey and Kim. "I think she's the woman he's been seeing," Kim said and pretended to not be sure.
"Okay" Hank muttered and the two women hurried off.
"I was right, you do look hot when you're all geared up" Anna lowered her voice and Jay laughed a little and shook his head.
"I will see you tonight, okay? Get back safely" Jay said and Anna nodded and squeezed his hand. "I will" Anna assured him and the two broke apart.
Jay walked back to his partner and unit and got in their cars and then the team left. Just like that. Anna threw her coffee in the bin and headed towards her motorcycle.
She raced back to the hotel and entered her room, she locked the door as promised and then her phone rang.
Her boss was calling her.
"Yes?" She said once she answered.
"How is it going? I heard about the shootout" He said. Chief Larsen knew everything, he especially paid attention to Anna and her suicide mission.
"It's going well, I'm waiting to hear from Isaiah. I saved his life and he owes me now, so I'm sure he'll come through" Anna explained and sat down on her couch.
"Good, were you injured?" He asked.
"A bullet grazed my back, but I'm fine" Anna said and she was, the call ended shortly after and Anna started planning the next step of her plan, since things had taken a turn from the original plan.
Hours later Jay arrived at her room, she had gotten ready and he was dressed in a fancy suit, so Anna knew she was in for a treat.
