Coming home from the hospital, going to physical therapy, and surviving all felt surreal. Of course things didn't end quietly the police questioned Seonghwa, the boys and I a lot. They were relentless, but that to Yoshi the shark of a lawyer he hired got them to lay off of us.

Seonghwa's dad said something to him none of us saw coming.

"You're fired."

And after he said that he hugged him tightly, the truth was his dad was scared. His dad underestimated how brutal this whole thing was going to be. He told Seonghwa he'd still provide him with finances until Seonghwa decides what he wants to do or be as well as the other guys.

Yeosang stretches across one of the hammocks tossing the basketball up and down.

Yeosang: I never thought the day would come where we're all unemployed. What the hell do unemployed do?
San: We can travel! I've always wanted to see Greece.
Hongjoong: Traveling isn't a bad idea, we've been through so much in Korea it'll be nice to get away.

Wooyoung nods.

Wooyoung: I want to be stretched out on a beach somewhere.
Mingi: I want to drink out of a fresh coconut.
Jongho: I agree!
Yunho: A massage on a tropical island.

I chuckle.

Me: I think they're trying to tell you something.

Seonghwa smiles at me, he intertwines out fingers bringing my hand up to kiss it gently.

Seonghwa: Where do you want to go?
Me: I don't have a set destination but getting away from here would be enough.

I love the new house, it's not as flashy or huge as the previous ones. It's actually perfect for a young married couple. He said Yunho and Suzy helped him pick it out.

The funny part is all the guys live a bit down the road so they all still see each other everyday, which I love because their family dynamic grows stronger each time.

Seonghwa: What if we did go to Dubai?
Jongho: Sign me up. Maybe I can find a wife out there.
Yeosang: Unlikely, you'll see a cute girl and faint.
Mingi: He's not wrong.
Jongho: Shut up!

The boys are trying to handle it but they're a bit antsy. They've been doing this for years, so to all of a sudden stop doing what they know the most isn't easy for them.

I think the vacation would be good because then they'll be able to breathe and think about their next steps. San has a medical career plan to fall back on, I'm not sure about the rest. Mingi notices me deep in thought.

Mingi: You okay over there?
Me: Yeah, I'm fine.

He looks like he doesn't believe me but doesn't push it any further. However, if it's on Yeosang's chest he's going to get it off him.

Yeosang: I hope you aren't worried about us now that we're out of jobs?

I gulp, he caught me.

Wooyoung: You're so sweet Nia!

He runs over pinching my cheeks, Seonghwa is not amused.

Jongho: I wouldn't be too worried about us. In order to keep us under some kind of radar we all already had inspiring business endeavors, jobs or some kind of plan.

He smiles.

Yunho: Contrary to popular belief we aren't complete knuckleheads.

He looks at Wooyoung.

Yunho: Well, not all of us.
Wooyoung: Hey!

They begin to laugh making me smile. Seonghwa and I lock eyes.

Seonghwa: So Dubai?
Me: Dubai? That would be amazing!
Seonghwa: Second honeymoon it is.
