Praise for the Ground-setting Blurb of Awakening the Blade

There are quite a few things I love about this blurb. For one, the hook immediately grabs my attention, and the quick, witty tone holds it. I also absolutely adore the slight undertone of irony woven through the blurb, which makes it not only fun but also interesting to read.
A--perhaps unavoidable--thing about fantasy is the confusion that arises from abstract names and places, so although I found this blurb to be pretty good with this, I still found some parts that could be looked over again. For example, there seems to be a certain impact surrounding this 'Blue Paladin' that Lyn wants to become, but since we, at this point, don't really know what that entails, we don't get why she wants it so bad. Perhaps a little more understanding of what this position is would increase this impact. Overall, this is a near-perfect blurb in my eyes! ~ tarishannon18

dreaminginreverie's blurb is captivating and entertaining. I love how the voice of her main character shines through with a little bit of witty sarcasm, while not overtaking the main purpose of the blurb. All in all, it's a perfect balance between being interesting and entertaining without spilling too many details. ~ TheConfusedTurtle
