"Even if you hadn't grown up a savage you'd be lost, There are no trails through a woman's heart." - Cecil Clayton.

"Having the best of the best is bullshit." The Ex Guardian replied to the Phoenix as they walked the deserts of Mexico.

The Phoenix huffed annoyingly. "Dude you had everything you needed at life; A good job, a good status, a wonderful reputation and an endless amount of respect from other creatures."

"Well look where it ended me, being thrown and tortured at hell for 800 years, all of the creatures of the universe are chasing after me to bring me in back to those untrustworthy shitheads that calls themselves gods, and on top of that I'm thrown into this boring planet for a decade." She bitterly opposed as she kept sharpening her sword with a stone.

He wiggles his eyebrows humorously. "Well at least I'm still with you right?"

"Go shove a damn corn up to your asshole, Mike."

Michael was the only creature who weren't afraid of the infamous Jain Ardent. In fact, he have known her since the first time she became a guardian. Which was way back before the werewolves existed. He was irritatingly by her side and he never left her alone, and Jain appreciated that from him, because he was her only friend.

When the time The powerful Ardent had her disobedience against the gods, the Phoenix was ordered to get back the mad guardian seeing he was the only one who she'd listen to. He tracked her down and followed each footstep she took on earth, when he found her he never saw how broken and devastated she was until that moment.

So he spent the next 50 years watching her kill a dozen amount of humans and supernatural creatures that were living recklessly or peacefully on the planet.

He finally decided to do something about it and stopped the furious girl by trying to get through her by words, in the end she did stop being pissed and blended with the others.

When the gods ordered him to bring her again he refused their request and told them she was fine without their help, and of course he made them angry so he was also qualified as a traitor and fought each creature they've send to take them back.

"Umm it would burn duh." He said demonstrating by creating a fireball in his right hand. "Besides, if I actually did shove a corn into my asshole it would make some popcorn and you wouldn't want any of it right?"

The girl crinkled her nose down in disgust, "No one in the damn universe would want that."

"Phoenix Poop popcorn flavored, they should make that." He puts both of his hands back on his head satisfied with the idea.

"You're grossly distorted." She says rolling her eyes.

He grinned at the dangerous creature in response, "Thank you, thank you very much Jain."

"That wasn't a compliment you idiot." She sighed in distress.

Before he got the chance to argue with her a sight of a car and a motorcycle with people standing around it came in a distance that diverted him from doing so.

"Do you see them?" He asked pointing his head towards the scene.

The exquisite monster who was already gazing at them making his questionable state unneeded smirked tauntingly. "Yes I do."

The Phoenix sighed knowingly seeing the look on her face. "You wanna go and take a look?"

"C'mon peasant." She says grabbing his hand then teleporting the both of them on top of a small hill.

She sat on the ground while pushing the Phoenix down with her, "Lay down shit corn."

As the Phoenix was still trying to function from the teleportation he looked at the people who were standing in the middle of the road. "This is a good spot to spy from." He says seeing how invisibly close they are.

She smiled proudly, "I know, now shut the hell up I'm trying to listen."

"Go." The spastic teenager said in insistence dealing with the situation.

The currently new alpha shook his head in disagreement. "Not without you."

"Dude, someone needs to find Derek. We'll figure something out, we always do. Just go." He entreated him as they stood in front of the hood of the blue jeep.

He sighed giving in. "Okay."

The five group of teenagers were headed to a church that was located in a eradicated town in one of the areas of the deserts of Mexico. Now the reason they were even going because the beloved Hale was currently missing, after the void stiles incident the alpha's face was never shown except for the young huntress' funeral which he intended, and that was the last time they saw him.

They think he's been kidnapped by a group of Mexican hunters, but even them didn't know where the alpha went but they did know where he might be. So they've a sent mercenary to guide the way, but with their unfortunate luck there they are in the middle of nowhere stuck with a broken down jeep.

"What are they saying?" The Phoenix who the Ardent labels as the donkey spitfire whispered like they're going to hear them.

Jain wickedly grinned showing her sinned immorality. "Michael, I think we just found what we've been looking for."

"How long are we going to stay here Jain?" The red dyed haired supernatural myth whined in a much child like attitude.

"Until something enthralling happens." The black haired girl replied in annoyance.

He huffed in clear impatience, "Well then we're gonna stay on this same creaking spot until the lovely sunset shimmers through the deserts of wonders and us turning into statues."

She rolled her eyes in exasperation, "Do I need to stab you in the eyes instead?"

"J, the only interesting thing that happened when the coyote girl found the claw in their tire, besides are we really gonna keep watching the one with moles scratch his ass while fixing the damn jeep for the next three hours?" He complained trying to persuade the stubborn girl.

"Yes, now sit down before I stuff rocks in your mouth to shut you up." She said warningly.

"You cun--"

"Wait, do you hear that?" She interrupted the Phoenix.

"The sound of my voice cussing the shit out of you in my head yes I certainly do hear that." He mockingly nodded his head.

"It sounds like bone crushing." She ignores his comment trying to hear more.

She then looked back at them to see the coyote had ran off somewhere with the fragile one whom she assumed to be her boyfriend howling out for her. The only one who chased after her was the fox.

Malia was panting, gazing at her surroundings with an alarmed sense. The feeling of the wind floating into her soul. Not feeling quite sturdy about her predicament, she suddenly hears a twig break, making her fangs show out in defense.

She felt Something fast goes by her, she turns her full body to the other direction looking everywhere to find nothing but darkness.

She growled warningly sending the unknown creature a message to come out and fight. She once again felt someone coming from behind her, before she got to turn around the creature scratched her hip bone making the girl to fall down in pain.

She held down the wound to see it was a really open cut concluding she was bleeding, even though she had night vision because of her coyote abilities she didn't see anything Distinctly. She saw the black figure standing in front of her and she snarled ready to fight.

As if it was meant to happen, a figure that looked like a female jumped out in front of her. The girl pushed the creature into the ground and then looked back at her to see a pair of grey glowing eyes, "Run!" She yelled making the coyote nod rapidly as she intensely got herself up and ran towards the place where she left the rest of the pack at.

As she was running she saw Kira from behind holding her kitsune sword ready to protect herself if anything attacked her, so she inevitably held her sword out and shouted when the Tate came out in front of her panting out of breath.

"It's me! Ugh. It's me, it's me." Malia exclaimed making her step back.

"What happened? What's out there?" The Yukimura asked in concern as she saw the coyote's bloodshed.

She took quick breaths as she tried to say her words, "I don't know, but it is big and fast, and it cuts deep."

"Then let's go back Malia you're injured!" Kira said gently tugging her wounded friend to go back.

She shook her head, "Wait! There's more, someone saved me."

"What? Who saved you?" She asked surprised.

The coyote looked back at her. "I didn't see her clearly, but what I know she was a girl. A girl with grey glowing eyes that saved my life."
