The next day Yibo was the first one who wake up and he found Zhan right beside him, he gave Zhan a kiss on the forehead before he tried to get up from the bed however Zhan hugged him and spoke, "come on you can sleep a little longer right?"

"Nope, I have to drop Haoxuan home as well."

"Please." Zhan said as he looked at Yibo with puppy eyes, the latter just smiled and gave him a kiss on the lips, "get up."

Yibo knocked on Haoxuan's door and called out his name before he slightly opened the door and saw Haoxuan was still sleeping, he sighed and went inside to wake him up, "Haoxuan get up." He said as he shook him, and it took him some time to wake up Haoxuan but in the end the latter woke up, "what time is it?"

Yibo told the time to Haoxuan and he panicked and immediately got out of the bed, "fuck! Mother is going to kill me!"

"Hey relax." Yibo said before he glanced at Haoxuan's phone and saw the messages and missed calls from Yanli and now even he was worried.

"You have missed calls from mother, call her back." Yibo said as he gave him back his phone. Haoxuan sighed and called Yanli back while Yibo went out of the room and sat with Zhan who made coffee for three.

Yibo took his cup and took a sip before he sighed, "thanks."

A few minutes later Haoxuan also came out of the room and he looked like he was in a rush, Yibo got up and said, "let me drop you."

"Would you mind if I tag along?" Zhan asked and Yibo nodded, "sure."

Once they reached Yibo's house, they got down from the car and Haoxuan thanked the two.

Yibo patted his shoulder and said, "it's alright, but next time don't drink so causally. And tell her that you were with me and got a little sick."

Haoxuan nodded, "yeah, I'll see." He then looked at Zhan and said, "it was nice to meet you."

"It was nice meeting you too, and you know if someday you feel like getting away and relaxing a bit then you can always call me."

Haoxuan smiled, "Thanks you are really cool. How did you get stuck with someone so boring like him?"

Zhan laughed and Yibo just glared at his brother, suddenly they heard another voice, "Yibo?"

Yanli came there and stood in front of them, she gave Haoxuan a glare and said, "You are late for your lessons for today, get inside Haoxuan."

"Yes." Haoxuan went inside and Yanli looked at Yibo and then at Zhan, "Who is he?"

"He is my boyfriend, aunt." Yibo said, Zhan greeted Yanli but she just gave him a look before she said to Yibo, "Why don't you stay for breakfast?"

"No, aunt I need to catch up with my assignments, I'll see you later."

Yanli nodded and gave a glance to Zhan before she walked inside the house.

"She looks really strict and I think she did not like me," Zhan spoke.

Yibo sighed as he turned around and walked towards the car, "she will come around."

"But she didn't like me, right?"

"She thinks that dating and relationships are just a waste of time and distraction, so yeah, she is not fond of such things. She thinks that people have entire life for love and all so we should focus on career and education in this age."

"I see."

"Where are you right now Zhan?" Gina asked.

"I am with Yibo at his apartment," Zhan said as he sat on the sofa and Yibo was lying with his head on Zhan's lap.

"What are you doing there?"

"I am spending time with him, why are you calling?"

"I am standing at your house but you are not here, I wanted to spend some time with you."

"Gina someday else."

"I came all the way to your house and I have even brought snacks, I thought that we would have fun and catch up. And you are saying no... I am sure that Yibo must have told you to say no to me."

"It's not like that Gina, you don't have to be so dramatic, I just want to spend some time with my boyfriend is that a crime? We can hang out next time."

"What happened?" Yibo asked and Zhan just shook his head and talked to Gina.

"Zhan come on!"

"Gina I'll talk to you later," Zhan said and cut the call.

"What was she saying?"

"Nothing important," Zhan said.

"Are you sure?"

Zhan smiled as he wrapped his arms around Yibo and smashed his lips against Yibo's and pushed him back till they reached the sofa.

Zhan pushed Yibo back on the sofa and kissed him over and over again, till the two ran out of breath.

"You are really close with Gina right?"

"Jealous?" 

"Maybe."

Zhan smiled as he kissed Yibo's forehead and said, "Well, there was a time in Gina's family when her mother and father were really very unstable, Gina's mother was pregnant and her child died, they also had another child who was the eldest, and after Gina's mother lost the child she became unstable and took her anger out on everyone, then I learned that the eldest child died as well and her mother lost it, so her father left Gina with us, and we sort of grew together, that's why we are really close.

"I see, how did the eldest child die?"

"Well I don't know but it is a possibility that Gina's mother beat him to death, he was only eight or nine at that time."

"Ouch," Yibo said, "So did Gina's mother ever feel guilty?"

Zhan nodded, "I heard my mother saying that Gina's mother was really guilty and apologetic for what she did to her child and completely lost it when she realized the gravity of the situation and had to be admitted to the psych ward where she was diagnosed with god knows how many mental illnesses. She seems mostly stable now."

Yibo nodded, "I see."

  Zhan's phone suddenly rang and groaned as he moved back and looked visibly annoyed.

He grabbed his phone and answered, "What?"

Yibo sat up as well while Zhan talked on the phone, "Okay I'll be there."

The call was disconnected and Zhan turned to Yibo and kissed his forehead before he said, "I have to go, it's urgent."

Yibo sighed, he was clearly disappointed.

"What is it this time?"

Zhan shook his head, "My dad wants me to go on an urgent meeting with him, I promise I will be back soon."

"Alright."
