"Seriously you are the one who invited him and I have to do the cooking." Yibo said as he glared at A-Xiang, she just sat at the kitchen counter and smiled, "come on, you can do this for your boyfriend in your house right?" she said with a smirk.

Yibo smiled before he said, "do you really think bringing Haoxuan was a good idea."

"Yes, he needs to relax too, he is taking a lot of stress from the exams, and I can see that he is pushing himself too hard, let him relax."

Yibo sighed, "he is going to remain stressed for his entire life if he keeps on going after things he is not interested in just to impress Mom, he is an idiot."

"Tch, let it go, let's have fun today." She said and suddenly the doorbell rang, "Looks like he is here." She quickly jumped down and ran to answer the door and as soon as she opened the door she came face to face with Zhan, "hello handsome!" she said with a smile.

Zhan smiled and gave her a bottle of whiskey as he walked inside the house and immediately his eyes searched for Yibo, "he is in the kitchen." A-Xiang said, "and also my brother is here as well."

"Your brother?" Zhan replied.

"Yup, I brought him here so that he can relax a little I hope that it's okay with you."

"It's perfectly okay."

"Let's go."

"So, Zhan what does your family do?" A-Xiang asked as they all sat for the dinner.

"You know the Xiao Corporation?"

"Yes."

"They own that."

"Oh, my that's wonderful, you are quite loaded." She said and Zhan smiled, he looked at the siblings and then spoke, "I had no idea that he had a brother and sister as well, I was shocked when I learned about you guys, you all don't look alike at all."

"That's because we are adopted," Haoxuan said as he ate his food.

Zhan became quiet as he looked at Haoxuan and then at the elder siblings, A-Xiang sighed and Yibo leaned back on his chair, "Yes, we are. Mother adopted three of us when we were eleven, ten, and six."

"Oh... I see." Zhan spoke, the information that he learned was shocking and it took him some time to digest this, after a few seconds he tried to make a small talk with Haoxuan, "So what are you preparing for? Yibo told me that you are busy with studies as you are preparing for an entrance exam."

Haoxuan replied, "I am preparing for the entrance exam of Hazelwood University."

"Damn that's a very prestigious university, and it's hard to get admission there, best of luck. I am sure that you will be able to get into it. You have two genius siblings you can always ask them for help right."

Haoxuan forced himself to give a smile to Zhan before he focused back on his dinner.

A-Xiang resumed the conversation and the dinner went smoothly.

Haoxuan grabbed his plate and went to the kitchen where he found the bottle of whiskey that Zhan had brought and without any care opened it and poured himself a glass. This was his first time trying something alcoholic but he was a little excited as well.

So he took a sip and then another sip and just like that emptied the glass before he poured another.

"What's taking him so long," Yibo spoke before he got up to check Haoxuan. As soon as Yibo came in the kitchen his eyes widened as he saw Haoxuan drinking the whiskey, "Haoxuan have you gone mad! Are you insane!"

He tried to take away the bottle but Haoxuan prevented it and said, "Brother please a little bit."

"Mother will kill me! You have class..."

"I don't have class tomorrow, please! Let me drink a little"

"No!" Yibo said in a loud voice and snatched the bottle, "Haoxuan... let's take you to the room, you drunk already."

A-Xiang and Zhan also came there after listening to the loud voice and when A-Xiang saw Haoxuan drinking her eyes went wide and she grabbed his arm as well and dragged him to the room, "You fucking idiot! Have you lost your mind! You have an important coaching class tomorrow! Dumbfuck!" she yelled at him as she dragged him to the room.

While Yibo just sighed and kept his hand over his head, while Zhan asked, "Um... I thought something major happened. He just drank some whiskey what's the big deal, is he underage or something?"

Yibo shook his head, "no, you know mother had hired a tutor for him and going to these classes is necessary, since he is a little weak in studies and all, mother is very strict when it comes to studies and all."

"It's not the end of the world.

"I know what you are trying to say Zhan... but none of us ever want to disappoint Mother, never, if she says something then it should be followed and Haoxuan has an inferiority complex, he already thinks of himself as a failure in front of me and A-Xiang and if mother got angry at him then he would become more depressed."

Zhan nodded, "okay... she won't disown him, right? For such a small thing."

Yibo shook his head, "Nah, I don't think so." He then grabbed the dishes and kept them in the kitchen before Zhan wrapped his arms around Yibo's waist, "I had no idea that you are adopted."

Yibo sighed as he leaned against Zhan, and Zhan just kissed the top of his head, "The dinner was delicious and your siblings are amazing."

"Thanks."

"Maybe I should introduce you to my brother and sister-in-law as well, they would love to meet you"

"It's alright there is no hurry."

"You are going to stay here for the night, right?"

"If you have a room for me then sure."

A-Xiang soon watched into the kitchen and Yibo moved back from Zhan, she smiled when she saw them, "he is asleep, he is way too drunk."

Yibo nodded, "I'll talk to Mother tomorrow morning. Let's all go to sleep now."

"Actually, I have to head back, I have some work left, I'll leave the idiot here, you take care of him."

"Okay."
