"So Yibo how are things going with you?" A-Xiang, his sister asked, the family of four sat at a dining table, it was Yibo, his sister A-Xiang, His brother Haoxuan, and their 'mother' Yanli.

"Wonderful."

"Have you started to date anyone yet?" She asked.

Yibo paused and gave her a look, while she smirked, this meant that she knew something. Yibo knew this expression very well, "not yet."

"So fucking boring! Come on get out and have some fun, right mother?"

Yanli looked at A-Xiang and then at Yibo, "It's his life A-Xiang, he can do whatever he wants, however..."

The three looked at her and she said, "Nothing should come between work, as you all three know how much I cherish my company and my career and you three are my heir... I want all three of you to be successful love and other things can come later."

And there she was typical Yanli, the no-nonsense boss lady, she tolerated no bullshit, no small talk, she loved her career, she loved the success and money. A-Xiang and Yibo were nearly of the same age, A-Xiang was one year older than, Yibo. And Yanli was only twelve years older than them. She took the three kids in when they needed someone the most.

"Haoxuan... how is your preparation going?" Yanli asked.

"It's going well. I should be able to get into a good college."

"Not just a good college." Yanli said with seriousness, "The best college, I want you to get into the best college just like the other two."

Yibo and A-Xiang gave him a glance before the topic of conversation changed into something else.

"Don't worry Haoxuan you don't have to think too much about what Mother said," A-Xiang said as she and the other two sat in Yibo's room, eating ice cream, they wanted Yanli to join them but she had an important meeting to attend.

Haoxuan sighed, "Easy for you to say, you both are geniuses, always got good grades and got into the best colleges in the country, and look at me... it's so hard to keep up my grades and remain in the top five, and I know that Mother is not happy with my fifth position. You two were always first."

"A-Xiang!" Yibo said glared at her but A-Xiang just laughed, "come on tell me! Who is he? What's his name? When will you bring him to meet us?!"

"Not anytime soon. Our relationship has just started and it's in the beginning stage, I haven't told him much about my life and you know about our family. And I am a little worried about how a mother would react. I know she feels that love and all is just a barrier to success."

"She isn't wrong, that is if you fall in love with the wrong person, but if you fall in love with someone who supports you then it can be amazing."

Yibo smiled, "his name is Xiao Zhan, he is the same age as me, we met in the college. And his mother is a homemaker and father has a business, he has an elder brother. He is a good person, can be shameless sometimes, he is very clingy and he has a beautiful smile."
