Zhan lost consciousness and Simon finally took him to the hospital. While Yibo went back to his house heartbroken.

He laid back on his bed for sometime and felt awful, he knew that he had made a mistake but Zhan was being too much and he started to believe that maybe Gina was right.

Zhan was probably just using him, because he was confused or perhaps because he wanted to make Gina jealous, the more Yibo thought about it the angrier he got. His eyes became wet with tears as he slowly started to believe whatever Gina said as it all makes sense.

Zhan lied to him and yelled at him and shut the door at his face and told him to get lost, he cancelled plans way too often, and didn't tell Yibo much about his 'trips' and often changed subject when Yibo inquired about it.

Zhan was probably never serious about him and just like a fool he went after him.

He clenched his fists and closed his eyes as he tried to sleep, tomorrow was his exams and he should be focused on that.

Yanli had so many expectations with him and he was going to make her disappointed because of someone who didn't give a damn about him.

So, he threw his phone aside and decided not to bother with Zhan anymore.

On the other hand, Zhan was still in hospital when he regained consciousness, he groaned as he felt weak.

He looked around and saw his sister-in-law beside him, Ziyi smiled when she saw that he was awake and called Marius.

"You dumbfuck." Marius cursed as soon as he came inside and saw that Zhan was awake, Zhan smiled and said, "hello to you too brother."

Marius sighed as he sat beside Zhan and Ziyi got, "you scared me there. Idiot."

Zhan smiled, "Sorry for that, I guess I am out of danger."

"Yes, you are, your wound was thankfully not infected and none of your organs were damaged, the wound was a little deep but you are all stitched up."

"Can I go home?" Zhan asked and Marius nodded, "I'll ask the doctors, but they did say that you were out of danger, I am taking you to my house and you dare not resist unless you want to die."

"Sure brother."

Marius got up and left the room, to talk the doctors while Ziyi sat beside him again and smiled, "what are you thinking about?"

"I fucked up, it's been a mess."

"I am all ears. You can vent." Ziyi offered and Zhan smiled before he told her everything from the fight Yibo because of Gina to today's events.

"He is going to break up with me isn't he."

"Well... you should go and talk to him."

"I'll go tomorrow."

"Absolutely not!" Ziyi said, "don't be an idiot, your brother will kill you."

"Please!"

"Nope."

"Pleaseeeeeeeeee. Pretty pleaseeeee."

"Zhan... you brother will get really angry."

"Then you handle him, I need to talk to him face to face and apologise."

Ziyi sighed, "fine, I'll see what I can do."

"That's why I love you more than my brother."

"Don't let him hear that."

"Sure."

Yibo was blank, as he stared at the answer sheet.

His mind was completely gone, his heart was beating fast and he was sweating badly, he wasn't able to think anything it was like his mind had stopped working.

He was getting more and more anxious as he kept on staring the paper, he had studied well for the whole night and didn't sleep well.

He couldn't recall anything that he had learned and he was getting scared.

His exam was not going well and Yanli's face flashed before his eyes, she was going to be very angry and disappointed, he felt like shit since he had actually studied for this exam but his brain was not supporting him.

He closed his eyes and took a deep breathe, and yesterday's events flashed before his eyes, how Zhan shut door on his face and how he yelled at him, and his mood became worse.

He looked around and saw his fellow students filling up their answer sheets while he sat they're not knowing what to do.

He took some deep breathe again and forced himself to focus on the paper, and he forced himself to do his best.

"He is not out yet." Zhan said as he looked at his watch, "Guess he is going to write till the end." He was standing with Ziyi holding a milkshake for his beloved.

Ziyi rolled her eyes and looked at him, "And what about you? Why didn't you tell me before that your last semester exams had started? How did it go?"

Zhan smirked and said, "Amazing. I always prepare for exams before since I don't know when I am required. Hence, I always prepare in advance."

"How smart." She said as she pinched his cheeks.

Zhan looked ahead and waited for Yibo and smiled when he finally saw him. Yibo slowly walked out of the building and he looked worried.

Zhan noticed his expression and his smile dimmed as well, "Looks like his exam didn't go well." Zhan walked towards Yibo, who didn't even look up, he was feeling really awful.

Yibo kept on walking till he felt someone standing before him, he looked up and saw Zhan before him, Zhan smiled at him and said, "Hi...here you go." he said handing him the milkshake

Yibo clenched his fists and felt rage, how dare he smile in front of him like this after treating him so awfully, because of Zhan his exam went so bad, while Zhan looked in such a good mood, he must have aced his exam.

"Are you angry with me? Darling?" Zhan asked with a cheeky smile and Yibo just glared at him and threw the milkshake right at his face before he said, "fuck off!" with that, he started to leave, while Zhan facepalmed and sighed before running after Yibo

Yibo ignored him and walked towards his car but Zhan followed him, "Yibo listen to me.... Please... yesterday."

"Shut up." Yibo said as he opened his car door but Zhan prohibited him from getting inside the car, "please listen to me."

"Zhan get out of my way; I want to go home... and I don't want to see your face."

"Let me explain."

"Save it. I don't have time for you, go back to Gina and cuddle against her, and why are you even here? After blocking me you still want me to talk to me."

Zhan was confused, "I blocked you?... I didn't Yibo I..."

"Zhan enough!" Yibo spoke as he glared at Zhan, "I don't want to listen to anything you have to say! You are annoying and you are a fucking bastard! At first, I was feeling bad but not anymore, I don't give a shit and I don't regret anything, I am not going to apologize anymore get lost good for her she deserved it! Go and fuck your beloved Gina and warm her bed you fucking manwhore! Go to your fucking cunt of a best friend who is lusting after a taken man...."

"Yibo..." Zhan raised his voice but that made Yibo only angry, as Zhan was getting angry because of Gina, while behaving so awfully with him, "Don't you dare raise your voice at me Zhan I am not going to put up with this bullshit anymore I am so done with you! If you are so much in love with her and you care for her more than me then go and fucking date her fuck her, stop using me as a substitute!"

"Yibo I am not..." Zhan tried to explain but Yibo just gave him a hard shove, "fuck off." Yibo sat in his car and drove away while Zhan clutched his abdomen where Yibo had touched, the pain was too much but he tried to ignore it and go after Yibo.

But he couldn't ignore the pain and just stood there for some time.
