*Kili's POV*

I sat on the floor and stared at the wall deep in thought. I was so relieved that the elves had kept Fili and I together but it was torture not knowing how the others were. My thoughts were mainly set on Cassy. I saw her being dragged away with Caspian and it took everything in me not to run after her. The only thing that was putting my mind at ease was knowing that Caspian was with her so I knew that she'd be okay. At least I hoped she was okay. I'd do anything to hold her in my arms even for just a moment, I couldn't bare the feeling of being this far away from her. I sighed to myself, I wanted so badly to tell her how I feel about her. I needed to tell her that she is my One, so that is what I was going to do.

*Cassy's POV*

"Cassy." I heard Caspian saying my name. I sat up and looked at him wondering why he woke me.

I was just about to ask him when I heard the dungeon door opening quietly, I could hear a small tapping in the room, almost sounding like footsteps.

I scanned the room, but I could see nothing unusual. I shared a confused look with Caspian when suddenly, on the other side of the cell doors, appeared a figure out of thin air. Caspian and I cried out in shock and I jumped to my feet.

It took me a moment to regain my composure. My eyes widened even more when I realised who it was that was standing there, smiling at Caspian and I warmly.

"Bilbo!" I cried out in disbelief. "How is this possible? How are you here? Where did you come from?" I moved over the the bars that separated Bilbo from me and I reached out and placed my hands on his arms to make sure that I wasn't imagining him.

"Let the guy breathe, Cassy." Said Caspian.

Bilbo chuckled slightly one hand gripping my arm in a calming manner. "Shh." He whispered, shooting a short look towards the door. "We don't want to alert the whole of the Woodland Realm."

"I'm sorry." I muttered quietly. "But you can't begin to imagine how happy we are to see you! I feared that you were still in the forest, maybe even dead!"

"Yes, that..." Bilbo replied quietly, scratching his head slightly.

"What aren't you telling us, Bilbo?" I asked.

"I have a... a magic ring that makes me invisible." He whispered.

I stared blankly at him for a moment and glanced at Caspian who had raised his eyebrows in confusion. "Excuse me?" I asked.

"I know it sounds strange but it's the truth." Bilbo quickly said and opened his right palm, showing Caspian and I a small gold ring lying on it. "I found it in the Goblin tunnels." Bilbo explained. "I used it when the elves collared you and I sneaked after you into the palace. I explored the whole area after you were all locked in and by now I know my way around. And you can't tell anyone else about this ring. Please."

I looked at Caspian and he said. "Don't worry Bilbo. You can trust us, we won't tell anyone."

"Thank you." Said Bilbo.

"Do you know where the others are?" I asked hopefully. "Do you know a way out?"

"Yes, I do." Bilbo answered with a proud smile. "I have found every cell, although it took me two days and I have talked to Thorin today. He was only too happy to see me. Thranduil has been giving him quite a hard time."

My eyebrows rose in question. "Apparently, orcs have been seen on the borders of Thranduil's lands. They want Thorin dead, all of us actually, which - admittedly - is not a big surprise. I was in the dungeons when Thranduil told Thorin that he is thinking about letting the orcs pass his borders so they could end what they've begun."

"But that would mean he would let orcs into his realm to kill us!" Said Caspian.

"I don't think he would let them. As much as Thranduil hates dwarfs, he hates orcs more." Said Bilbo and I couldn't help but agree. "He is just trying to pressure Thorin into giving him what he wants."

I nodded in understanding. "And is it working?"

"Not really." Bilbo replied, an almost amused smile coming to play around his lips as he looked at Caspian and I. "Thorin told him that he would rather die than let him see even one gold coin of Erebor's treasure. He added a few harsh words, too. I think it was something like, Imrid amrad ursul. I don't know what it means but I'm guessing it was nothing nice."

I chuckled quietly, imagining Thorin cursing Thranduil in the language of the dwarves. I would have liked to have seen Thranduil's face.

"But it doesn't matter because I know how to get us all out and how we can escape the palace, though I'm afraid it might be a bit uncomfortable." Said Bilbo.

"I don't care if it's uncomfortable as long as we all get out of this accursed place." I replied.

"Don't worry." He muttered. "I'll take care of it. The king will be hosting a great feast later today. It's the perfect time to execute my plan; all the elves will be there and busy. I will steal the keys from one of the guards and come to get you two first. Then we will sneak down to the other dungeons to free the others. And then we get out of here."

I couldn't help but smile at him. "You seem to have become quite good at this burglar task." Said Caspian grinning.

Bilbo chuckled quietly in reply. "I guess you could say that."
