ooo. Charlotte Peterson didn't have a real family when she was young, no one she cared about but herself. A runaway at fifteen years old, growing up hating the world and wishing it would all just end. By time she had found people she loved and was at peace with her life, those wishes came true. A mutated Cordyceps fungus made its way into the human brain turning people into monsters. Outbreak day came and people died, a cruel government rose along with another cruel rebellious group changing the world forever.

With in the 20 years all Charlotte had left was her kids. And Joel Miller at times. They had been together since before the Apocalypse, he was her husbands best friend and they were together on outbreak day. But now the man was cold and distant. Charlotte and him smuggled things in and out of the Qz and that's what their relationship had concluded to... or that's as far as the two liked to admit.

Charlotte had gotten used to her life in the Boston quarantine zone, protecting her kids, smuggling supplies and sleepless nights. But then came along an immune 14 year old girl that changes everything.
