It's the year 2018 and the world is witnessing a worldwide blackout which is followed by a Virus which has was originally started in China because of the Dogs, Cats, stray animals, and water from taps, rivers and lakes and it spread worldwide. 

Then when people died, they came back to life except stronger and faster than the average man. Their appearance is inhuman, they basically are covered in a certain element or items merge into their bodies.

 Humans have started calling the Mergers or Elementals, The Mergers and Elementals tend to keep away from humans but they still act like them but when they see a human they attempt to kill them and most of the time succeed. But a small group of people located in Melbourne, Australia is immune to the Virus but instead of staying human they gain powers that are a lot like the Mergers and Elementals but they don't kill humans on sight but instead everyone calls them Guardians, but there are only a selective group people have this immunity that people know of.

 The group is a  group of High School students. But Beware the Melbourne population isn't the friendliest to the Guardians
