This time, the topic is... Is Aphmau a Mary Sue?

Yeah, we're talking about Aphmau, the main protagonist of, well, basically, everything!

If you don't know, a Mary Sue is a character who is basically perfect, flawless; these characters either have the perfect life, or the bland, depressing backstory.

Now, please do not go all crazy and defensive, but I do believe Aphmau is sort-of a Mary Sue.

Okay, okay. I'll explain myself...

APHMAU:

➵ Everybody, absolutely EVERYBODY, loves her. She's the center of attention every time, and all the main male protagonists love her, or at least, loved her.

Heck, even Katelyn's little brother likes her.

Why not give Katelyn more attention?

But, I liked it when Garroth went with Katelyn during the prom. It was pretty refreshing due to the large wave of Garmau and Travlyn.

➵ The only flaws she has, is that she can't swim, and that she gets too loud and clumsy.

One, Aaron always saves her, so that's one flaw solved. Two, being quote unquote "too loud" is not that big of a flaw, so is being clumsy.

➵ In MCD, she is basically a GODDESS.

Literally. She. Is. Irene.

➵ She is talented in absolutely everything; even when it seems like she'd totally be burned at that particular activity.

➵ All the guys go through extreme measures for her.

Connected to the first reason, the guys would do absolutely everything for her.

➵ She has the perfect body, and appearance.

Based on how Laurance talked to her when he first met her in PDH, Aphmau must have an attractive appearance and pretty face.

So, those are my reasons. I'm not hating on her, I just think she could improve.
