For this week's late discussion, we'll be talking about everyone's absolute favorite part of Aphmau's multiple series'... the antagonists! Yeah, they're not everyone's favorite...

With everyone still hating on Ein, whether in PDH or TES, comments start to get offensive-- and more often, childish. Even with Ein's numerous misdeeds, Ein is still an important part of the story, and so are other antagonists; without these villains, the story would always come off as bland, and Aphmau would be seen as more of a Mary Sue.

So, here we go-- time to defend some of the most hated characters in the fandom!

---

- Ein

You were all probably expecting me to talk about him, since he's the most recent villain added into Aphmau's series. Ein has grown from literally one of the most beloved characters, into one of the most hated, and possibly the most.

Ein started off giving the mysterious vibe, following with his dark color scheme, following the mysterious male trope Aaron had in Minecraft Diaries. After some more interaction with him and Aphmau, the fandom looks at Ein like a very precious cinnamon roll-- in other words, like a Daniel.

Aphmau and Ein's ship, Einmau, grew to a large population in the fandom, before everything escalated. With more hints of Aaron being a werewolf, specifically an Ultima, he gets tangled in a love triangle betweeen Ein, Aphmau, and him; this results in heartbreak-- as well as Ein being upgraded to the part of male alpha (though, I feel like Blaze should've been alpha).

Ein, supposedly achieving his goal to earn respect and part as male alpha, takes a twist in his personality. The werewolf is shown to be secretly rude and arrogant, mostly behind Aphmau's back, until mor recent episodes where Ein shows her his true nature.

The fandom mostly assumes that Blaze and Aaron will be the ones to thwart his plans in the end of the series, oblivious to the fact that he'll return years later to murder Aaron. Yeah, not morbid at all.

Overall, I'm unsure how to feel about Ein. I mean, he did hurt poor little dumpling Kasey, and he also made Daniel the omega, but without him, PDH would literally just be a lot of emotional instability between Kai and Aphmau, (+Aaron).

- Ivan

I'm just here, sitting and thinking why everyone literally has a love interest in PDH. I mean, they're only teenagers. And, Aphmau was only a freshman when she got kissed on the lips multiple times--

Now, Ivan wasn't the most interesting character, he was just there to act as Lucinda's really creepy ex, though he could also be the stalker-y type, which could make him more interesting-- yeah, this show really is PG!

Ivan adds some maturity to he series, showing them the reality of break-ups, relationships, and how someone might turn out to be a stalker. It really depends on who you ask to see if he was a good antagonist.

- Michi (MCD)

I'm actually surprised people ship Laurance and Michi, like--? I personally don't support this pairing, but my biased opinion shouldn't stop you from supporting this-- if you like it.

I mean, in MCD, she really hasn't made the largest impact (other than being the first character to supposedly have a twin--). She was a minor antagonist-- who is most commonly shipped with Zane, him being the main antagonist and such.

Also, can we talk about Michi's voice? Why does almost every villain (that's slightly bratty) have a high-pitched voice, along with some kind of annoying phrase? "Nya!~" after literally every sentence gets repetitive, and I'm pretty sure they made her say that to make her more annoying.

Overall-- a minor antagonist-- one who's actually pretty okay in PDH (but not in MS, because apparently she likes Aaron and Reese, for odd reasons).

- Ivy (MCD)

Like Laurchi, I'm also surprised people ship Garroth and Ivy. I mean, in LLP only.

Ivy was a long-lasting villain, not the most important, yet not the least. A lot of people hate her; mostly because of her high-pitched voice and cackling laugh (-- no offense to the VA), also because of her interference in the Garmau ship.

I also have a headcanon that Ivy puts on layers of foundation, as well as a ton of eyeliner and mascara. I don't know why-- she just seems like the type to do that.

Her being nice actually made LLP a bit more interesting, though I didn't watch the entire season because the salt was actually getting to me.

- Jax and Ryder??

ahahahhahaHAHHA-- No.

- Maria (the werewolf, not Dante's mum)

I mean, she was definitely a unique character, with her raspy voice and ability to hide her wolf ears and tail-- which is a skill/ability only a few possess. She really isn't an antagonist, as she just challenges Aphmau for her place as alpha and usually gets cut off because of a set of circumstances.

She's also there to provide more shipping fuel for Kai and Aphmau--

- Aaron

He's not a villain-- a portion of the fandom just hates him... with a burning passion.

---

Anyways, that's it- for now. We'll probably continue this to have more of the antagonists, so you can request some of your favorite antagonists in the comments! ^^

Thanks for dropping by! :3
