Gracie Tyler: *nods* Sorry again about today....

Connor Fiddle: No, don't worry about it. No need to be sorry.

Gracie Tyler: Still doesn't make me feel less guilty.....

Connor Fiddle: Yeah.... Hey, uh, I was wondering if..... um.... You would like to sit with me lunch tomorrow.

Gracie Tyler: Uh.... sure. Thanks

Connor Fiddle: Um..... Yeah.... No biggy.

Gracie Tyler: Was there something else you wanted to tell me?

Connor Fiddle: What?! Oh.... Pft.... no.... I just wanted to ask because you always sit alone at lunch and I feel sorry for you and.,.. Uh....

Gracie Tyler: Oh, thanks then.....

Connor Fiddle: yeah, no prob....

Gracie Tyler: anyway..... I better take out the trash. My mom is calling me to do so. See ya later!

Connor leaned back in his dads leather chair and stared at the chat screen. Why didn't he have the guts just to ASK already! Freddy had told him just to write it down and send it. But, that was easier said than done. Connor's fingers turned to sticks as he tried to come up with the words. Man, he thought, Why couldn't this be easier?!

Gracie stood up off of her bed and looked down at her laptop. It was whirring like normal, but something had changed.... Something bigger than just the piece of technology. She stared at it, wanting to keep talking, but knew she couldn't. First her mother would dumper in tar and cover her in feathers, second was because she didn't have the guts to ask Connor about what he meant.

At the exact same time, Connor and Gracie thought of the same thing at the same time,

Does he/she like me?
