The Final Battle? Wait A Minute

Camila tried ringing free, but Serene pushed her into the stall, almost falling inside of the toilet bowl, seeing her hurt reflection.

"I can't wait to go Jason Voorhees and crush that pretty head of yours underneath that toilet seat, traitor!"

"Guess I'm the girl who kills you at the end!"

Swinging toilet water splashing her, Camila rose up, but Serene blindly dragged her out by her hair, pulling a knife in toe.

"When this dries I'm gonna enjoy your skin covered in as much red as your hair!"

"You're gonna kill me? If I die, you serve more time for murder and my parents won't stop till you get the penalty!"

"For what?"

"You broke into school with a weapon. He can pin all the blame on you. Is being Arden's shotgun that important to you?"

"I have nothing! You have your art, your hair, your parents, you have no idea how I feel!"

Camila struggled to reach for her hand, but noticed her own nails were long enough. She took a vicious slash leaving Serene screaming. Her arm jerked enough for the red head to squeeze it, forcing her to drop the knife.

The sophomore kicked it up to grab it, and with one slash, she cleaved off her own hair, cutting Selene's fingers, and freeing herself. Her former friend screamed in anguish.

"My fingers," struggling to grip while Camila snatched her falling hair, throwing them to throw her more off guard.

"You're right, I don't understand," pulling her towards the sink so both of them could see each other in the reflection, pinning her from behind.

"My hair, my art, my family, my friends, my boyfriend. While I was doubting myself, they reminded me of my worth! And I won't let anyone take that from me!"

Serene tried to fight her off but she noticed the hairdryer, blasting her in the face with it long enough to open the door and force Serene outside.

"Without Arden, you're nothing. So you can prove me wrong and leave him. Or you can keep doubting yourself. He couldn't take my soul, and neither can you!"

"I'll shut that mouth of yours you annoying piece of shit!"

She ran back into the door but Camila threw what remained of her cut hair to watch her struggle to push it off, kicking the door fast enough to make her crash into it.

Serene struggled to get up but crumbled to the floor.

She commemorated her victory with a check to her former friend's pulse, still breathing.

"I used to complain how he gave you more attention than me. But he had us both pinned down, didn't he. Unlike him, I hope you learn how to pull out one day."

Camila overheard the commotion nearby.

Silas threw his glasses at Arden, who knocked it away, realizing it was a feint too late as Silas punched him clean in the face, sending him tumbling and falling a few inches back.

"He won?"

"No, he's not done yet. Silas, he's going for the gun!"

Crap, watching him crawl through the ground, holding himself up the wall to push his weakened body to try and catching, slowly realizing his adversary would get there first.

"You said you wouldn't use it!"

"Too bad! They'll tie your corpse in a body bag!"

As Arden was about to grab the gun, a thrown trash can struck his body. While it bounced over him, Camila stared at him in full rage before smiling.

"Look behind you."

Arden got up to see Silas kicking the cash back at him, knocking him down.

She ran towards them, kicking the gun away before kneeing Arden in the face.

He stumbled back. "You b," interrupted by Silas pushing him back into the range of her fist.

He grabbed it but Camila punched him in the chest. Silas followed up with a smack, and they exchanged fists and kicks bombarding Arden until he was down on his knees.

Silas had time to look at the injuries Camila received with time to process it. "What happened to you?"

"Uh, Serene, handled her."

"You? You're nothing compared to her. You picked this loser over me?"

"Tch, you're the one on the floor Arden. My friends were right. You don't love her. You love control. Too bad you lost all your players in the game you created."

"You shut your mouth! And you ruined everything!"

Camila sighed. "You made me feel like I belonged. How many times have you hurt, lied, and manipulated me? I almost went to jail because of you, twice! Take a good look in the mirror, I've changed. You haven't!"

Arden's injuries cracked his attempt to shut her up. They looked up: Serene was wobbling through the hallway.

"Serene, get the gun and shoot them!"

"I can't, I'm hurt!"

"Are you just as useless as her? Get the gun and do as I say!"

Silas was about to hop over but Camila waved her hand in front of him.

"Serene, you said you're better than me? Prove it. Or show me you're just as bad as him!"

Serene's hand fidgeted. Camila only gave her a nod as footsteps arrived. The half blonde stopped and kneeled to the ground.

"You're pathetic! When I get out, you're all gonna pay."

"Hmpf. I love her more than I fear you."

"You can't control me anymore."

The two noticed he was about to spring up. With a nod, both of them kicked him in the face, knocking him in the path of the security guards and police restraining him.

Police sirens outside brought them back down to reality.

"I held back so you could do most of the work."

"Silas, you almost died and you're joking about it?"

"I never dreamed I see you with short hair," chuckling. "It's actually kinda,"

His head pulsated before he could finish. The feeling transcended through his body as he closed his eyes without thinking.

"Silas!"
