Almost Blue : 2

Todoroki half heartedly wished for a miracle to happen. As much as he wanted to keep up the so called stubborn mask, he couldn't anymore. He was hungry, thirsty and mostly, emotionally ignited. He kept his head down and plotted his escape plan. It was the second day, since he was kidnapped by villains. So for, he had learned something about them; they all were working for Dabi. The man himself was a mystery for Todoroki. He was familiar, yet full of wildness and new surprises. Yes, surprises. Dabi showed no interest towards anything, but still he played the role of a superviser. With that all said, Todoroki's only solid fear so far was the existence of that crazy girl, and the fact that she hated him to death. Knowing that, he didn't allow his body take a full, needed rest. He was always alerted and ready for an attack.
Himiko was his only fear.
His head was aching. He could no longer ignite his flame, nor freeze the metals.
He wondered where Dabi was or what was his second shot. Where was Allmight? Why wasn't he rescuing him? Why couldn't he hear his prayers? Wasn't Todoroki good enough to be saved? Where was everybody?! Where was Midorya, hadn't convinced him about his friendship?!

...

It had been two days since Todoroki was kidnapped by the villains. Midorya blamed himself for that, Kachan did too, but for sake of his profile, he didn't show.
Allmight was worn out by everything lately and couldn't reach to rescue Todoroki; Allmight was injured and couldn't stir a muscle had he wanted. The recovery girl kept a keen eye on Allmight and called him so often by his real name, to remind him that he too was a human that needed rest and tranquillity. Aizawa tried his best to keep his class under his control, because basically the aftermath of the attack had left everyone of them under permanent fear. He had taken the hold of them well, almost all of them. But, Midorya was never calm, he always asked about their plans to rescue Todoroki.
"Endeavour could rescue him." One of the students from his parallel classes had said.
Midorya knew that Todoroki's father was the 2nd strongest hero of all mankind, but the idea only sent shivers down his spine. What would happen, he didn't know.

"Class is dismissed!" Aizawa said restlessly. Midorya waited until the class was empty and watched Aizawa use his anti redness drops. He needed a year of rest.
"The class is dismissed." Aizawa repeated with the same voice. His eyes were lidded.
"Uh... I am very sorry for taking your time, but Todoroki..." Midorya chewed his lower lip when the anger started to burn him from inside. He was angry with his own incompetence.
"Listen, we are trying," Aizawa said with a loud sigh and leant on his table, although it was against the rules of UA.
Midorya could only stay still, because what else was there to be said. Todoroki was not there, his friend was in trouble. Who knew what was happening to him. Was he alive?!
Midorya didn't move from the spot his was standing on and Aizawa anticipated more question rather impatiently.
"Listen," he said louder. "I, as your home teacher, promise that I will save him."
Midorya sadly smiled at him, as if he wasn't sure whether he should buy his words.
Midorya bowed his head and went out of the class with his notebook in his hand. Aizawa didn't know what to do anymore, he really didn't know.

Midorya was lost in his own world of contemplation as he was walking toward his house, when he heard a loud growl behind him. It was Kachan, and Midorya had no time for his self - opinionated strikes. He stood still  until the foot steps got closer.
"Deku," Izuku turned around. "You airheaded shit." It was the first blow.
"What is it Kachan?" Izuku asked patiently although the fear of being burned and barbequed by Kachan was boiling in his stomach.
"Why did tou try to save me? Huh? Do you think you would appear smarter?" Kachan hissed. His fists were ready for the blows and Izuku could see smoke rising from his palms.
"Kachan, I really don't want to fight you now." Kachan clenched his jaw and glared at him.
Both of them didn't speak for a few seconds, and in thag time Kachan's intimidating posture changed into a relaxed dorm of intimidation.
"Green nerd, any news from that half- on - half bastard?" Kachan muttered and rubbed his nose. It took a moment for Midorya to understand what his former childhood friend was talking about. Huh, so that was why he had followed him this far.
"I don't any news." Midorya said quitly and furrowed his brows.
"Actually, I think we should not intrude into their jobs." Midorya said as he remembered Iida's words. "Whatever, Broccoli." Kachan hissed and walked in the opposite direction. This was the calmest variant of Kachan Izuku had ever seen.

...

"Wake up," He heard an anxious voice.
"Wake up!" It was loud.
"Hey, wake up, open your eyes! Great, now wake up." The mask guy was standing right before him, his face close to his own and stinky breathes were exhaled against his face.
Todoroki turned his face to another side and tried to keep his eyes open. Afterall, he was still alive, and still trapped by villains.
"Good morning, Todoroki." Dabi smirked from the other side. He was sitting on a chair with his legs crossed and a cup of hot liquid in his hand. Behind Dabi, the crazy girl was standing. She glared at him with so much hate. "Leave us alone." Dabi ordered. "But, but you promised me I... I want to choke him!" Himiko stomped her feet. "No but buts. Go!" Dabi beamed at her and ignited a rather pretty, blue flame on his pointing finger.
"Let's go Himiko!" The other villain pulled her  and disappeared into the darkness. Was there any door?
At first, Dabi only stared at Todoroki with lidded eyes and a stockish expression.
"W- what?" Shoto hardly said. Dabi rose an eyebrow and walked towards him with his long, black coat swaying behind, as he took heavy steps with his dark boots.
"Shoto Todoroki." Dabi leant forward and looked into his eyes with a devious smile.
Todoroki snapped his head to another side and squeezed his eyes shut, his chest rising and falling rapidly.
"I am not going to harm you, Shoto." Dabi said emotionlessly. "What do y-" Shoto tried to speak but he was tired. "Shhh, don't speak." Todoroki knew his voice, it was so familiar, it was so intimate. Who was the person hidden behind Dabi's character?
"Here, drink." Dabi said.
Todoroki opened his eyes and looked at Dabi, who was holding a glass of orange juice, maybe poison?
"No,"
"It is orange juice, your fa-" Dabi trailed off, but it only dragged Todoroki's interest farther. How did he know that he liked orange juice?
"Drink or you'll die from contusion." Dabi held the straw. Todoroki didn't trust him, but he could nolonger stand without water.
Dabi smiled when todoroki hungrily drank the juice and desperately searched for the last drops.
"Welcome back." Dabi cooed in his ear and walked away without looking at Todoroki.
The younger didn't understand the elder's act. Unfathomable.
