I cried in my cage. Why won't they let me out? I wondered to myself. I haven't seen the outside world. I once asked Professor about it but he just hit me and said to never go outside. Luna was asleep next to me. I continued crying. "I hate this...." I whispered. Luna woke up. "What's wrong now?" She asked me. I hugged her. "I wanna go outside." I said. Luna looked at me. "Angel, you know that we can't go outside. It's too dangerous." She said. I looked up at her. "I know but.... I can't stand this place." I said. Luna sighed. "Me too but you know the rules." Professor walked over to the cage and smiled at Luna. "How are we doing today, Luna?" He asked her. Luna growled. "Get lost." She said, gritting her teeth. Then, Professor looked at me. "Come with me." He said. He unlocked my cage and grabbed me by the wrist, practically dragging me out. "W-what are we doing?" I asked him. Silence. He put me in a chair and grabbed a syringe filled with poison. He is going to kill me. I thought. I squirmed, trying to get away. It didn't work. Finally, I got out of his grasp and ran away. He chased after me, yelling. I ignored him and kept on running until I reached the door. I opened it and stepped outside. I ran to the forest, hoping to never return to that awful place.
