Chapter Seven
Christine's point of view
I could hear thrashing coming from my little angel's bedroom, and decided to investigate. "Erik? Could you give me a minute?" "Of course, my dear."
I went up to Marguerite's bedroom and peaked through the door to see her thrashing about and ruining the placement of her bedsheets. As soon as she finished, I opened the door to her bedroom. "Marguerite, may I speak with you?"
She answered through her tears. "Yes mother."
"Good, but first, shall we fix these sheets?" She giggled a little. "We shall."

We sat next to each other on her bed as soon as we finished with her sheets. "My angel, I must ask, why are you so frightened of Erik?"
Marguerite sighed. "There's just, something, about him, that just doesn't feel right to me. I feel like he is capable of doing very bad things, and I feel scared."
I sighed. "My darling, listen, Erik may seem frightening, but I promise underneath, there is beauty. Always look for the beauty underneath, my dear." I kissed her cheek. "I think you ought to go to bed now. Have a good night, my little angel." "Yes mother. I love you so much." I gave her another kiss. "I love you as well, my darling."
(Comment below if you caught the Love Never Dies reference! I hope you enjoyed the chapter. And please forgive me for not posting in forever. Also, while writing this, I realized that Marguerite and Christine are kinda like the Gilmore Girls-if the Gilmore Girls took place in the 19th century. Comment what you think! Have a great day.)
