Lucifer's pov

I threw the door to the studio open. Vox turned to me with a smile.

"Oh you came back baby. Perfect, let's get you to work-"

"I quit"

He froze "what did you say?"

"I said I quit!" I puffed my chest out "I'm done being your plaything. Goodnight"

"No you fucking don't" he marched up to me fuming "you belong to me. You can't just leave. Not after all I've done for you-"

I cut him off with a punch to the stomach "wow that felt good" I grinned as I turned around and walked out the door, leaving a trail of whispers behind me.

I made my way back to the hotel. As soon as I did everyone's eyes were on me.

I took a deep breath "I quit"

Everyone gasped as they ran up and hugged me. I teared up happily in the arms of my loved ones.

"Hey asshole" adam called out "you owe me a drink"

"Coming" I smiled as I headed to the bar, ordering two drinks from alastor.

Adam looked down at his drink "apple cider? Really?"

"Uhh" I eyed him worriedly.

He stared at me for a moment before bursting out laughing. I slowly joined in.

"Cheers dumbass" he held out his glass and I clinked it. The two of us drank and chatted like old friends. I guess we are now.

Vaggies pov

It was a new day. The nine of us sat there eating breakfast, excited by the idea of Lucifer finally having his freedom. He looked so happy now. It truly brings joy to my heart-

"Lucifer!" Vox kicked down the door with a deranged look in his eyes "no one walks away from me, no one!"

"Vox this is just embarrassing" alastor gently pushed Lucifer behind him "he said he didn't want to work for you anymore so go on home and lick your wounds-"

He stopped at the sound of a gunshot. Alastor fell to his knees, clutching his arm. It's then that I realised he'd been shot.

"Alastor"

Vox smirked as he pointed his his gun at his head "oh alastor you have no idea how long I've wanted to bring you to your knees"

"Vox please stop" Lucifer stood in front of him.

Vox grabbed him roughly "if you don't want anyone to get hurt dear then you'll come quietly"

"Ok I will" he nodded shakily.

"Oh no you don't fucker" Charlie stood in the way "I won't let you hurt my father aga-"

She was cut off by vox firing a gun at halos feet. The child yelped and jumped into my arms.

"Keep pissing me off bitch and the next shot won't miss" he spat.

"It's ok honey. I'll be fine" Lucifer gave her a reassuring smile. Slowly she lowered her weapon.

"That's what I thought" he dragged him out of the hotel. He was quickly replaced by Lilith and Adam.

"What the fuck just happened" Adam asked.

"Dad he- he took him!" Charlie's body shook with sobs.

"Fuck!" Adam cursed.

"I'm going to kill that TV" alastor slowly rose to his feet.

"If you're going to do that you should at least be in shape" Lilith touched his arm, healing him "so who else is coming?"

"I am" Charlie stood up determinedly.

"So am I" I said firmly.

"Fuck yeah I'm in" Adam grinned.

"I think not. You have to watch the child" Lilith handed him halo.

"What! Are you kidding me!" Adam yelled.

"Well are you willing to leave him alone with mimsy" she gestured over to mimsy who was grinning maniaclly.

"Fine" he sighed before turning to lute "can you watch over my daughter and bring Lucifer back"

"Of course" she nodded.

"Thanks your a pal!" He ruffled her hair. She gave him a disappointed glace before flying up to us. It's go time.

Lucifer's pov

I whined as my hands were tied behind my back. Vox grabbed my chin with a smug grin.

"You really thought you were hot shit didn't you baby? I can't wait to put you back in your place" he ran his hand up my legs.

"Vox! I told you to watch him not fuck him!" Velvet yelled "you can play with him all you want when we get rid of Lilith's little gang"

"Wait you told me you wouldn't hurt them!" I pulled on the chains that were weakening my powers "you lier-" I was cut off by a gag being tied around me.

"That's enough from you. Let's save that mouth for later" he pinched my cheek.

"Enough playing around vox" velvet smirked confidently "it's time"
