Vaggies pov

"Now I believe in your cause sweetie but this group is a unit so if you want to convince one of us you need to convince all of us" she pushed me onto the stage. I took a deep breath before starting.

"Hello my name is vaggie and I'm here to pitch you my hotel-"

"Booo" my head shot up in disbelief to see a woman who looked one day away from turning to dust.

"Uhh?" I turned to Rosie in confusion.

"That's susan" she replied "she's going to be a little trickier then the others"

"Of course" my eye twitched in annoyance "anyway the angels-"

"Booo!"

"Are coming to take our hotel-"

"Bring Rosie back!"

"We need people like you to-"

"Where's the originality?"

"I have a dream-"

"Fucking mediocre!"

"Fuck you you old bitch!" I yelled in her face. Gasps filled the crowd.

"Okay let's take a quick break" Rosie gently took my shoulders while I was seething with anger and led me away.

"Alright sweetie I get the feeling it's more than Susan's attitude that's upsetting you" she patted a spot next to her "take a seat and tell aunt Rosie what's wrong"

I sighed as I took a seat "I'm just so stressed. All I want is to help people but all my efforts just make things worse and no one's taking me seriously!" Tears weld up in my eyes. The world's burning outside and I'm sitting here crying. Why can't I be strong like dad or Charlie? They wouldn't be sitting here crying. They'd be out there doing something about it.

"I have to do something" I stood up suddenly.

"Oh? And what might that be?" She asked.

"I'm not sure" I slumped back down.

She smiled patiently "how do you normally get your point across?"

"Well usually by singing but that never works" I sighed.

"It will here" she held her hand out to me. I smiled and took it.

When I stepped out onto the stage Lilith handed me a microphone cane "I borrowed it from a certain someone" she smiled as Rosie glared daggers into her.

"Thanks" I smiled nervously as I addressed the crowd. Taking a deep breath I started "have you ever wanted something that was so clear in your mind that you could taste it?"

"You mean like human flesh?" Susan popped up.

"Eh sorta" I smiled nervously "it's a feeling like a rumbling in your gut that you could be faced with a billion needy faces I guess what I mean to say is, for the first time in my life I may have to be ready for this, ready to be the one who's leading the parade. Gotta come into my own, gotta come into my throne, gotta take charge and defend my only home. And even though I kinda feel unsteady now I need to be ready for this"

I marched out to the front "have you ever had a feeling that you're willing to die to save the people of your city"

"As in die do you mean use my teeth to rip human flesh apart?"

"That's a start!" My words brought a smile to her face. It's working! "Cause right now we need a leader and it seems like destiny has picked me so who's with me! Wouldn't it be super to see more of hell?" I started tapdancing "join up now if you like travel, come on boys hop in the saddle! Lots of sight to see at my hotel not to mention the comraderie, yes sirre! We'll form life lasting friendships with friends along the way"

"And feast on all the angels you can eat" Lilith chimed in.

"Okay" I looked away awkwardly. The cannibals started chanting amongst each other. I shrugged, whatever works!

"For the first time in my lives maybe I can be ready for this. I can be the one leading the parade" the cannibal's lifted me on their shoulders "gotta come into my own and I think I've always known that my destiny could never be postponed. When angel brings the battle here I must appear like I'm ready for this" I held my fist up to the heavens. I'm ready to you.

*Time skip*

When we arrived at the hotel the first face I saw was Charlie's. I rushed up to her "how'd it go?"

"Great" she smiled tiredly "we can kill them with their own weapons"

"That's great!" I hugged her with tears in my eyes "I'm kinda scared"

"Me too" she whispered before pulling away and taking my hand "but whatever happens I'm right here"

"I know" I squeezed her hand greatfully as we headed inside. To our shared surprise everyone was still there and fortifying the hotel!

"You're still here?" A smile spread across Charlie's lips.

"What? Did you think us a bunch of pussys" fizz let out an offended gasp.

"We're not going anywhere so you girls better get used to us" Lucifer wrapped his arms around alastor and fizz.

"That's so great" I smiled with tears in my eyes. I love these guys!
