Lucifers pov

I blinked in confusion. A new extermination? Now? And why so soon?

People were screaming and panicking in the streets. This noise clearly woke the others as they all came out in their PJ's.

"What's going on?" Vaggie blinked as she looked up, seeing the countdown "oh no"

"Halo!" Before we could properly registered it husk, his eyes filled with relief as seeing his child again.

"Papa" halo rushed into his arms "these nice people looked after me and I learnt all about hell" he said excitedly "we should try and help them right?"

He gently kissed the boys head "your aunt Molly has been worried sick. We should go home now"

"You didn't answer my question"

He ignored him, turning his attention to us "using my own child against me. You bastards are lower than I thought"

"What's with the new countdown?" I glared at him.

"Oh we thought we should get a headstart on the new extermination" he shrugged "better get ready" he pointed his weapon at Adam "cause I'm coming for you first!" Lute growled as she pointed her own weapon at his throat "got yourself a little lapdog I see"

"Don't talk about her like that" he gave an irritated look.

"Something more then?" He chuckled "not that it matters. I'll kill you all the same"

"Papa stop!" Halo pleaded with him "you can't hurt mr Adam he's nice! I know he hurt daddy but he did it to protect miss vaggie. You'd do the same for me"

"I don't care what reason he had" he snapped "he killed your father. There is no forgiving that!"

"But daddy always taught forgiveness" halo said in a small voice.

Husk's body shook with rage "we're going home" he was about to fly off when..

"Arrange a meeting with sera husk" Adam called out "we're discussing this bullshit now"

"Of course your highness" he spat before leaving.

"So it's really happening" a soft voice spoke behind us. Vaggie gasped at the young woman behind us.

"Emily"

*The next day*

"Did you have a good night's sleep Emily" vaggie asked kindly as the young seraphim came downstairs. She explained her situation to us and I still felt angry. She's just a kid. How could they!

"Yes thank you very much for the hospitality" she smiled politely as we handed her a cup of tea "it's been pretty tough living here by myself these past couple of days but I won't be in your hair for long. Sera will come back for me any day now"

My heart broke for her. She was in denial, desperately hoping that her family will come back for her. I know that feeling all too well.

"Sweetie they cut your wings and banished you here. It's very unlikely that Sera's coming back for you" I said gently.

"But heavens my home" tears ran down her cheeks.

"I know honey but this can be your home too" I pulled her into a hug "it's not so bad once you get used to it"

"Plus you can be part of the fallen angel gang" Adam added.

"I'd like that" a smile returned to her face. What a strong girl.

"Ah fuck it's almost time for the meeting" adam muttered.

"I should come with" I insisted "I have knowledge about meetings and you could use some moral support for what we're about to do"

"Suit yourself" he shrugged.

"Good luck dad" Charlie and vaggie called out as we left the hotel. We have to make this work. For their sakes.

*Time skip*

"I'll warm them up for you your highness" I winked at him. He rolled his eyes as I headed inside.

Sera and husk were sitting inside with a serious expression.

"What are you doing here?" Husk eyed me suspiciously.

"I'm here as Adams stand-in" I took a seat "now let's talk. After all this you really think it's ok to continue the extermination-"

"It's more than acceptable" husk cut me off "your little revolution caused the deaths of several exorcist angels including the exorcist leader" he choked up at the last part.

"you're all very lucky we're not holding you accountable for your little revolution" sera said calmly "we're willing to let it go and continue on as if nothing happened"

"Revolution? You have no idea" I faced them with new resolve. I wasn't sure about going through with it but now I'm more than sure "believe me I know, I've sunk pretty low but whatever I've done you deserve"

"Why you-"

"Quiet" sera cut him off.

"I'm the bad guy that's fine!" I continued "It's no fault of mine and so justice at last will be served"

"Please listen-"

"Now it's time to rise up" I flew on top of the table "or it's time to stand down and there's only one answer for me. So I'll stand up and fight cause I know that I'm right and I'm ready as I'll ever be"

"Real touching speech" husk cut in "but you've not king anymore. You don't have the authority to declare war"

"Funny you say that" I chuckled as Adam entered the door.

"Now it's time to rise up or it's time to back down and the answer is easy for me"

"Adam this is ridiculo-" she was cut off by Adam pointing his axe at her.

"And I swear by this axe, raise your hand if you got my back. Are you ready?"

"I'm ready!" I grinned.

"We're ready!" The demon outside chanted.

"Ready as I'll ever be"

"Adam why are you doing this?" Sera tried to reason with him "you can't possibly care about what happens these demons"

"I care about my daughter unlike you" he said bluntly "what you did to Emily was fucked!"

Sera looked away guiltily but husk wasn't as kind.

"That little traitor got what she deserved just like you two"

Adams threw his axe at him in frustration. It went through him seeing as he was a hologram. He turned to sera with a grin "better prepare yourself bitch because that uprising you always fear is coming right fucking now"

With that we left, ready to prepare for war...
