Adams pov

*Crack*

My eyes widened as I watched my sons head crack open like a walnut. Standing over him bloody rock in hand was my other son.

"Cain" I pointed at him shakily "what the fuck did you do?"

He looked at me with a bloodstained face "dad-"

"Sir....hey sir wake up!" I opened my eyes to see the annoyed face of my understudy.

"Sir you're supposed to be overseeing our training not sleeping" he growled.

"What do you need me to babysit you" I growled.

"No!" He stumbled back, offended.

"Prove it" I threw a weapon at him "let's dance princess"

*Time skip*

"Gah!" He fell to the floor, defeated.

"Not bad Anthony, I think I might have actually felt that one" I held out my hand to him.

"Thank you sir" he nodded "you think I'll be ready to take over soon?"

"Oh fuck no, not even close kid" I slapped his back "now let's get ready for the extermination"

"Right sir" he sighed as he left. I looked down at the fiery pits of hell with a smirk. Go time bitches!

*Time skip*

"No please stay back-ahhhh!" The demon let out a final scream before I split his head open.

"Ahh I love extermination" I smiled softly as I wiped the blood off my axe "It truly is the best form of therapy" I heard a sound behind me. I pulled out a sword and stabbed the person. I smirked at first but my face fell when I saw who I stabbed..

"Eve!" I pulled the sword out of her body and caught her before she hit the floor.

"Darling is that you?" a smile appeared.

"Oh fuck oh fuck what have I done!" Tears streamed down my face.

"Shhh" she gently wiped my tears away "it's ok. I'm ready. I've been ready for a long time. I'm so happy I could see you before I die" her beautiful smile stayed on her face even after she passed tense. I stood up on shaky legs before turning back to the council.

"You fuckers!" I threw open the door.

"Adam what is this!" sera muttered in disbelief.

"Shut the fuck up!" I pointed a shaky finger at her "why didn't you tell me my fucking wife was in hell"

"I thought that was obvious seeing as you never ran into her here" Michael appeared behind me "you're not very bright are you"

"Fuck you!" I growled "what did she do to end up there? What did seth and able do to end up there!"

"Adam it's not that simple" sera said gently "we know when souls pass on and when they arrive. It's not up to us to pass judgement"

"Are you serious" I stepped back in shock "so you're saying this place is a fucking sham!"

Raphael's eyes hardened at my statement.

"Adam" Sera's voice softened "I need you to calm down before you say something you regret"

"No!" I shoved her away before turning to the arch angels "I rebuke this fucking place!"

Murmured and gasps filled the room. Raphael's eyes were screaming murder.

"Very well" his voice was calm yet threatening "if you hate paradise so much then maybe you'd fit in better down before"

The four of them raised their hands, summoning spears of pure light. The four of them looked different. Raphael looked indifferent, Michael had a smug grin on his face, Gabriel looked guilty and azreal seemed to be enjoying himself. Despite the different emotions their weapons were all set on me.

"Say hi to baby brother for us Kay" azreal winked at me as they lowered their hands.

I watched as the arrows descended on me, burying into my flesh and tearing my wings off. As I was dragged away, bleeding out and barely conscious the last thing I saw was angel's smug grin.

*Time skip*

I dragged my feet to the palace, the only thing that kept my broken body working was my revenge.

"Lucifer!" I screamed out, fighting through any guard that stood in my way.

"Adam?" Lucifer stepped out with his wife and child "what are you doing here?"

"The fuck do you think I'm doing here!" I pulled out my axe "this payback has been long overdue!"

"Oh we'll see-" Lilith stood up only to be stopped by Lucifer.

"Let me talk him down" he said gently before approaching me "adam you're hurting, believe me I know what it's like. Let me patch you up and-"

"You stay the fuck away from me" I spat "it's thanks to you and your stupid apple that I lost everything!" Angry tears ran down my face "I have nothing and yet you get to live with your wife and child in your perfect little palace. Fuck that! I'm taking over. You and your little family can go fuck off somewhere else"

"Okay we'll go" he spoke gently.

"Lucifer we can't let him kick us out of our own home" Lilith glared at him "let me deal with this arrogant prick-"

"No Lilith. I can't hurt him again" his kind eyes only pissed me off more. He has the gall to care now!

I snatched his crown and placed it on my own head "guards remove these trespassers from my house"

"Yes your highness" the guards quickly escorted the morningstars out of the palace.

"Mommy I'm scared" that little girl's frightened voice almost broke me. Once they finally left my body finally gave out. I collapsed against the window frame and looked out at the paradise I once occupied.

I truly am all alone...
