Today is the first full moon that Scott and I have to face. The downside is that he is going to a party. With Allison. Excitement all the way around I think sarcastically. I was just sitting in the living room for Scott to get done getting ready.I decided that it would be best to go with him so he doesn't accidentally wolf out on her.  From the looks of it, though, I have more control than he does. So hopefully I can hold it all in and stay in control. I overheard my mom and Scott having a conversation about tonight.

Scott came downstairs and looked at me weirdly.

" What?" I asked.

" Your Hair........." he started but trailed off.

I shrugged and said " I wanted to try something new. In my head, I was secretly hoping that the guy I liked was going to be there. But he doesn't seem like the type to go to parties. He seems to have this little turtle shell around him. I was going to make it my goal to actually talk to him, instead of admiring him from a distance. I heard a cough so I looked at Scott.

" Well, you ready to go?" 

I nodded and headed to the door. I knew that Scott would want Allison to sit up front with him so I hopped in the back. He got in and turned to look at me. Then before I could say anything it seemed like it clicked in his mind and he said a small thanks before heading to the pick her up. I put in my headphones and listened to Spotify. Eventually, we pulled up in her driveway. I looked and saw Scott staring out the window. I looked and saw Allison. I do have to admit she looked pretty. When she got in she smiled at both me and Scott. I smiled back at her while she and Scott started a conversation.  When we reached there I immediately got out and found walked around to find him. Isaac Lahey. Such a perfect name for someone like him. Someone who can make my heart jump.Eventually, I gave up realising he wasn't here. I turned to look for Scott and he was already running off with Allison follow him. And I following them. by the time I reached Allison, Scott had already pulled out and drove off.I looked at Allison and she looked as confused as I did. Why would Scott leave a girl, who he is obviously obsessed with, here alone? then it hit me. The full moon, he's changing. I felt angry and realised that it is happening to me too. But then I started thinking about Isaac and I instantly calmed down. Before I could say anything to Allison, like please forgive my brother, he probably had a good reason to leave, Derek Hale came over to us.

" I'm a friend of Scott and Angel. My name is Derek.Do you two need a ride home?" 

We both nodded and before I could get in the back, Allison did. So I sat up front with Derek. He dropped off Allison first. 

" Bye Allison," I said.

"Bye Angel," she said back.

Then Derek pulled around the corner and then stopped. I figured we were at my house but we weren't. I turned and looked at him and he was looking at me. I raised my eyebrow at him.

" How are you not turning?"

"Easy. I'm calm" I replied.

" The only way you wouldn't be turning is if you found an anchor? So who or what is it?"

" Anchor? What?"

" Okay, so if you aren't turning that means that you found your anchor. Which is what keeps you human. So did you feel yourself changing? If you did what calmed you down?"

I looked at him for a few seconds before saying " Drive and I'll tell you"

That seemed to work because before you knew it, he was driving off. I took a deep breath before talking. I told him the whole story. Of how I was looking for Isaac and how when I didn't find him I looked for Scott. 

" And when Scott drove off leaving me and Allison. I started to get angry. But during that process, I started to think about Isaac and I instantly calmed down. And here I am.So what is my Anchor?" I asked, so I would know how to stay in control.

" Well, it seems to be Isaac. But if you ever need any more help call me okay?" he said. I nodded but then realized that he doesn't have my number nor do I have his number. I handed him my phone and he put his number in while I put my number on his phone. I took a picture and set that as my contact picture. He handed me my phone and I handed him mine. I got out and bent down to look through the window.

" Thanks for the ride," I said. He nodded then drove off. I went upstairs to find Scott in his room, blocking the door, while Stiles was trying to talk to him. I stood next to stiles and asked:" What's wrong?"

" He's wolfing out in there won't let me in to protect him," Stiles said.

" Well in his defence, if you go in he might kill you," I said.

He then turned and looked at me" How are you not wolfing out?"

" I learned to control it with an anchor. Which is what Scott needs to learn to do" I said, sending glares at the door. It stopped moving, so I went in first and saw that Scott got out. 

" Stiles, did he say anything while I was not here?"

" Yeah, he wanted me to check to make sure Allison was okay." he said.

I gave him a look and told him to go make sure she is while I texted Derek.

A= Angel 

D= Derek

A= I know what time it is and all but we have a major problem

D= What happened

A= Scott got out and is now who knows where

D= I'll go look for him. You just stay there and if he comes back then text me

A= Okay

He didn't respond so I sat in the living room waiting for Scott to get back.Eventually, I fell asleep. Before I fully did though I felt myself getting picked up. I peeked my eyes open a little to see Scott carrying me to my room.

But we ended up in his bedroom. As soon as he put me down I shot up. I looked at Scott and looked at me.

" I figured you weren't asleep," he said

" Why am I on your bed?" I ask

" What did you and Derek and Allison talk about?"

" Well, When Allison was in there we said nothing except Bye to each other. Bu when sh left we went around the corner, He asked how I was so calm and I told him why. He said I found my anchor."

" Your leaving something out"

" I have his number?" I asked.

" Well, that wasn't...WAIT WHAT!?" he practically yelled

I flinched at his voice and explained the whole story to him, with a lot more details then I had first given him " And if you ever want to be with Allison again, you better have a good apology on why you left her their last night"

" So you're basically saying that you found an anchor, Which happens to be a guy who you don't even talk to, you and Derek have each other numbers for questions or help. And I need an apology made up by tomorrow?"

I nodded then stood up and walked towards the door.

" And I will talk to him, when I get the courage to talk to him. So have fun!" I said as I walked out. Then I walked to my room and went to sleep.
