chapter six

Secret Kisses and Oh, Someone's Missing

"I don't understand." Ashton said quietly as he picked at his pizza. Ten people were squished into one tour bus; the band, the hunters, the angel, the demon, and Luke's girlfriend.

"I do." Jasmine said as she played with Michael's hair. He cried himself to sleep on her lap, absolutely mortified from what he saw today.

"Explain to them." Crowley said and Cas leaned against the wall. "Where did he send you?"

"Not too far away." Castiel said as he awaited Jasmine to explain this throughly. "Jasmine, what's going on?"

"He's using the best tactic. He's going after Ash because Lucifer knows if he can get him, he can get his father." Jasmine said and Dean nodded. "It's like capturing Dean in order to lure Sam in."

"Oh." Ashton said as he sat beside Jasmine. "Please don't let him-"

"I won't." Jasmine said and he nodded, trusting her despite the logic. A human can't stop fucking Satan himself from doing whatever he wants, there's no way.

"What I don't understand is, why his dad? The two haven't seen each other in twenty years." Sam said and Dean looked at him.

"Maybe... Maybe his dad left in order to save him from a life full of this supernatural crap." He said and it went silent in the room. "Maybe he didn't want you around this kid."

Ashton shook his head and curled into a ball. "No, my mum said he left because he didn't want a kid. He left her because he hated the idea of being a dad." He said and Jasmine rubbed his back.

"Maybe she's lying to you." Arzaylea spoke up for the first time that entire night and Luke looked at her. "To protect you." She told him.

"I agree with the girl." Castiel said and Ashton couldn't comprehend this. "If your father is a witch, you must have some of his powers."

"No. No I don't. I'm just a drummer. I don't have any powers. I don't use wands and shit. I mess with drumsticks and music not wands and potions." Ashton babbled and Crowley laughed.

"Could you be anymore stereotypical?" He asked and looked around. "I'll be back. I'm getting mother."

He vanished before anyone could speak and Calum looked at Ashton. "How could our lives turn into this? We just want to perform on stage, this whole hunting and demon thing isn't for us." He said and Luke agreed.

It went silent in the bus and Jasmine got up, lightly resting Michael's head on Ashton's lap. "Where are you going?" Castiel asked and Jasmine held a finger up as she went to the front of the bus.

She picked up the new acoustic guitar Ashton recently bought and then brought it back there. "Really?" Dean asked and she nodded as she sat down cross legged.

"You can play?" Luke gasped and she nodded. "You never told us that." He said, and his loud voice woke Michael up.

"Shut the fuck up Hemmings." He said and they all laughed as Jasmine began plucking strings on the guitar.

"Oh come on." Dean said as he laughed. Sam asked what song it was and Dean shook his head. "Jas-"

"She's got a smile that it seems to me, reminds me of childhood memories," she sang and Sam laughed, the mood lightening.

Dean listened and watched her as she played, Ashton and Luke singing with as they realized what song it was. Arzaylea just cuddled into her boyfriend, glad he was okay, and listened.

"You and Dean are soulmates." Sam said and Dean looked at his brother and hit him gently before looking back at Jasmine.

He couldn't help but imagine the two of them together, and from there, the two of them splitting.

"Oh sweet child of mine," she sang and glanced at Dean a bit. "Oh, sweet love of mine." She continued, her brown eyes tearing and way from Dean's sharp green ones.

And she messed up the lyrics, the girl's blue eyes now green, and it was Dean's fault. Everyone caught the mistake, but no one commented on it.

Luke pressed a kiss against his girlfriend's lips and she smiled as the two cuddled one another.

Ashton played with Michael's hair and Calum has his head leaned on Ashton's shoulder.

Castiel stood beside Sam, the two of them leaned against each other with smiled on their faces.

Dean couldn't help but stare at Jasmine and realize just how talented and beautiful she was. He couldn't help but realize how she was so much more than a good hunter.

They all just kind of forgot that they were in trouble and sang classic rock songs while drinking beer and eating greasy takeout pizzas. It was perfect.

-

"Jasmine?"

"Yeah?" She asked quietly as she buttoned up a shirt over her body. It smelled like Dean's cologne, so it was probably his she thought.

"You got a minute?" Dean asked Jasmine and she nodded. "Can I talk to you outside?" He asked since everyone else was asleep in the bus.

"Shouldn't you be asleep?" Jasmine asked and he nodded as she stood up. "Come on, before we wake someone else up."

When they stepped off of the bus, their voices raised slightly. "What's up?" She asked, wearing Dean's flannel since she was too lazy to grab a sweater of her own.

He thought she looked absolutely gorgeous in it.

"I um..." Dean struggled to say the words he wanted to. He didn't know how to put them since he normally kept everything to himself.

"I said a minute, not a year Winchester." Jasmine said and he bit his bottom lip as she chuckled.

"I know." He said and she looked at him. "I'm no good with feelings and words." He told her and she nodded.

"I know." She said and smiled. "I know you Dean. I know you better than you know yourself."

"Then what am I trying to say?" He asked, hoping she knew because quite frankly, he didn't even know.

His words were jumbled in his head and he didn't know what to say or do at this point. Nothing was making sense to him. All he could think about what how inviting her lips looked and how cute she looked with messy hair. He was glad Cas could heal her injuries, seeing her with wounds just didn't sit well with him.

"You don't want to say anything." She said, her hands cupping his jaw. His stubble pressed against her palms and she chuckled. "What you want... is this."

She leaned forward and pressed a kiss against his pink lips. His hands wrapped against round her waist and he couldn't even fathom how long he's wanted this. Normally he'd just tell the girl, but Jasmine wasn't like any other girl he's seen or wanted.

She was special, and that's what made this moment special.

His teeth bit slowly down on her bottom lip and she chuckled softly. "You're pressing your luck now Winchester." She said quietly as she pulled away.

"Go big or go home?" He tried and she laughed as she shook her head.

"You're from Kansas, not Texas honey." She said and he chuckled. "Did I guess correctly though?" She asked and he nodded.

"Pretty much on the nose." He said and she nodded as he looked down at her. "You have no idea how long I've wanted that."

"Then why haven't you acted out on it?"

"Because I'm afraid of this being a bad time for relationships. In a life like this, relationships are the worst thing you could possibly have. Hunters can't have relationships, healthy and stable relationships anyways." He's said and pushed the hair out of her face.

"You have a point." She said and he nodded. "Forget that for a minute and come here." She told him.

"As you wish." He said and picked her up, kissing her once more as he pressed her back against the bus. "The only thing that could make this better, is if we had rock n roll playing and actual privacy. We're outside the bus in a parking lot."

"Your car or mine?" Jasmine asked and Dean looked at her. "Five seconds to answer before I go back in the bus and attempt to sleep."

"Mine."

"Then let's get to stepping Winchester." She said and he nodded as he took his keys and unlocked the sleek black car.

The two got inside of the back seat, Dean's large body over her's as he shut the door. Jasmine pulled her phone out and then turned it on, loudly playing some rock n roll song.

"Good choice." Dean said as he heard the guitar riffs of the classic Back In Black play. She shrugged and tossed her phone in the passenger seat as Dean pressed his lips against hers.

Their bodies were pressed against each others, the only thing keeping them from skin on skin contact being the flannel Jasmine had on. Dean was quick to fix the minor problem, quickly pushing the fabric off her shoulders.

"You should hurry up Dean."

"You should be more patient." He said and she rolled her eyes. "I'll take care of you babygirl, just be patient."

"We don't have all the time in the world Dean." She said and he chuckled.

"We do if I say we do."

-

"Where's Dean?"

"Where's Jasmine?"

Ashton and Sam looked at each other and nodded. "Nevermind." They both said and laughed.

"How long has he liked her?"

"A very long time." Sam chuckled and Ashton nodded. "You okay? I know this is a lot to take in and all."

"I'm... not okay but not... not okay, you know? I kinda feel numb almost, like I don't know how to feel." Ashton told him honestly and Sam nodded.

"You guys will be just fine okay? We'll make sure of it. Just try not to think about it. It's gonna be hard, but it will help." Sam advised and Ash just agreed as he stretched.

The door to the bus opened and Jasmine walked in. "Oh, you're awake." She said and Dean followed her. "It is not what it looks like."

"It is."

She hit Dean's chest and he gasped. "Fuck, that hurt." He said and Ashton laughed.

"Now isn't the time for sex." Sam said and Jasmine flipped him off. "I'm just saying guys. We need to think of a plan to stop Lucifer."

"And we will." Dean said and nodded. "Come in Sammy, don't be a cockblock."

"I'm not Dean, I'm just trying to make sure you're focused." His younger brother said and Ashton judge shook his head.

"Where did you guys even go?" He asked and Jasmine looked at Dean, who just gave a small smirk.

"The Impa-Oh my god, really?" Sam gasped and rubbed his temples. "Dean! Which seat at least?"

"Backseat." He said and Sam nodded, glad it wasn't the passenger's seat. He'd never ride in the front seat ever again if it was. He was never touching the backseat ever again now.

"Did Crowley ever come back?" Jasmine asked and Sam shook his head.

"Guys, Cas is gone, and so is the Mustang." The three of them heard Arzaylea say and Jasmine gasped.

"My fucking Mustang is gone?! Fuck Cas, I want my car back!"
