This is my english creative writing assignment. Feel free to comment edits (or I guess you can do compliments too...)! The prompt was to personify an emotion and since its due on Single Shaming Day, I chose love. Give me better title ideas too guys 'cause I'm a little stumped. To most, Love appears as the most compelling, captivating being in the universe; while conversely, others are incapable of approaching her in fear of the consequences facing her may bring. Because of this, she has her enemies and her followers, but she is a stranger to no one. Her fiery and passionate personality bursts out of her short stature with a force like that of a airbag on your chest in a car crash, hitting with the same paralyzing power of an atomic collision. Her shifty mind and unpredictable nature furthers the distance between her and those scared few and spreads rumors of the misfortune she brings. Time is the only thing that reveals these traits within her, ones the eye cannot detect at first glance; on first aquantaince the novices are always naive to her trap, her beauty. She gleams as a bright, shimmering ray of light compared to the dull flames in her midst. A glimpse into the seductive spark of her lovely blue eyes and you're hooked like an addict. Her body is greater than perfection and the fare glow of her skin radiates the image of divinity and purity for your mind to believe. More than anything, Love is complicated and must be approached with caution; she can be the single greatest being present in your life or she can haunt you for the rest of it. Be careful and don't fall for her trap, or if you choose to fall, be ready because Love knows more than anyone else how to make the embers of a dying romance recoil slowly until they leave you cold.
