A/N: Hello! I told ya'll there would be these interlude chapters! This is the first parody of old S Club 8 fanfiction. The original story and title was "The Love Between Calvin and Aaron." Credits go to the original writer of that story. I don't know the person's name as that story is very old. You can't find it anywhere online, despite everyone saying the internet is forever. I don't know when exactly that story was uploaded on this one fan website. I just know it was during the band's lifetime.

Some context: So when I first saw this story, I was 14. At the same time, Calvin and Aaron were  around 15/16. So everyone involved were minors. I'm pretty sure the story was written by a teen fangirl who was in the minority of shipping Calvin and Aaron together. This was around 2003/2004, so gay ships weren't very popular at the time. 

This story was also my first introduction to fanfic smut, but it was pretty tame compared to what these writers are putting Jungkook of BTS in. Seriously, get that cupcake of a man out of your weird fantasies! Anyway, I didn't read the whole story through. Once again, I was 14, but I was also being brought up in a Christian household. On top of that, I had massive crushes on both Calvin and Aaron. So I felt extremely weird about trying to push through the story. I literally stopped right before the smut began. I wanted to see how it ended, so I skipped to the ending, which I think it said S Club 8 went on tour? I also remember reading the comments, and everyone was outraged! Keep in mind, this was during the 2000s. I had tried multiple times to read and push through the story, but I just couldn't, even after I got a bit older. Everything just felt weird.

So enough talk about all of this. Here's the parody ya'll have been waiting for. Also, book club readers, don't tell me to clean up this parody. If anything, tell me how to make it worse so it would look like bad fanfiction writing.  Now enjoy the cray!

The Beef Between Caleb and Alex

Connect8 were in front of the TV in the living room after a long day of promos and such. They were watching music videos.

Alex: The girls are hot.

Caleb: Yeah.

The 8 ignored the two boys' comments as the TV kept going. Soon, it was time to go to bed. Everyone left the room, except for Caleb and Alex. They sat there as they stared at the blank screen.

Caleb: Why did you touch my neck?

Alex looked at him, confused by such a question.

Alex: What do you mean?

Caleb: You were touching my neck.

Alex: I didn't do anything to you.

Caleb: Yeah, you did.

Alex looked back at the screen, confused by the accusation. He wasn't sure why he was asked that.

Caleb: You probably want to fuck me in the bathroom!

Alex: (angrily) I don't fancy you, Caleb!

Caleb: That's not what the fanfics say!

Alex: What? Like the one with that obvious title, The Love Between Caleb and Alex?

Caleb: Exactly!

Alex: Just because someone decided to pair us together doesn't mean that we're a thing now!

Caleb: And we can't forget the rumours about you!

Alex: What rumours?

Caleb: The ones that say you're gay?

Alex was stunned by this. He heard about the rumours. He knew they weren't true.

Alex: They're not true, and you know it!

Caleb: (scoffs) Yeah, tell that to Alex who's reading this now!
